Room and overall are clean. Nice view towards Mae Khong river. Very nice on zen facility just that it’s service hour is only 16-22 but we are here a bit late. Breakfast space is nice but the foods itself are just ok. Good but just expect a bit more.

This is a pretty good hotel for a short stay. Service is quite good and the staff are friendly. You can be annoyed by noise from neighboring rooms though.

Nice, large and comfortable room. Very helpful friendly and attentive hotel staff. The location may a bit too far from town center, but situated very close to the Mekong river with spectacular scenery makes up for it.

We stayed in a cabin. The floor were reclaimed teak, carved panels below the handrails and attention to detail was nice. Very nice pool just outside the two story hotel which was very modern. Nice owners and very accommodating.

We stayed here for the second time about a week ago on our way from Thailand to Luang Prabang. I love the place! The owners are lovely people, the food is excellent ( make sure you order the meusli for breakfast). Beds are really comfortable. A little out of town but a nice walk along the Mekong to get there.

I have now stayed at the Siam Tara Resort 4 times. I have found it to be great for relaxation around the pool and gardens. I have lived in Thailand now for 33 years and need a great place from time to time and now have found it. John the owner told me that all of the wood in the Resort is recycled timber. Even the 4 poster beds in each room and every room has a Persian carpet at the end of the bed...

Great place to stay. The rooms are superb. The pool is one of the best for a resort. A walk along the Mekong river is a must. The manager John and his wife Jam are full of knowledge of the area. John having lived in Thailand for about 25 years.

The hotel is tucked away in quiet lane, lovely bungalows with all round verandahs, nice pool and at the moment is great value.

Good stay for one night before crossing the border. The room was nice, shower was hot if you desire. Fan working all night no issue. But the location is now a bit useless as you have to drive 10km south to cross the border from Thai to Laos... therefore I would advise to take a hotel near this new border. The lady was nice at first sight and then tried to sell her van, take a Touk Touk and do it yourself...

They have the best service ever food is not that bad but it is near to cafes. And if you don't not like the hotel they have a resort too.

Very good value (room 211) Excellent view of the river. Clean with all you need (kettle, fridge). As in many other places the fridge gets its electricity via the main switch which is operated with the room key. You'll know how to work around this in order to find your beer cold when you return from sightseeing:-)

It's actually a very nice hotel unless they got the technicians to fix stuff somewhere early in the morning while I was sleeping. The room was clean and the view of Mea Kong River in the balcony was really good. Recommended.

500 Baht for a double room with ensuite shower and toilet and air conditioner and fan. Nice clean room with a fridge with two bottles of water. Has a kettle. Good view of the river and it is close to the bus station. The only downside is that the bed is very hard.

Room was quite nice and clean, and there is a handy divider between the shower and the toilet, which seems to be a rare occurrence in Asia. Awesome hotel staff and rooms seem newly renovated. The catered to us very well to make us happy as possible. They served a nice hot home made breakfast. The view here is beautiful with your nor ing coffee.

Stayed here a night before taking a two-day cruise on the river. Awesome views and very helpful staff. They were great with the kids and very generous.

By far the friendliest place on earth. Most ppl stay a night and go to Laos. But staying for a few days is worth it. The locals begin quickly to recognize you and make you feel like a local. Its worth the stay just to hang out and talk to local shop owners and learn Thai from them. Food around town is cheap and very good. Well worth the stay if ya like quiet and relaxed Thailand.

Nice place for a night if crossing the border. Showed up and paid 200 baht for a twin room with fan and shard bathroom. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and fine for a night. Found this place when an employee was touting for us. Cost was 100b per bed, with the cheap beds at the top floor, 4 flights up. The place is very clean and showers are good. Wifi is good as well. Great location and nice staff.

Nice place to stay backing onto the Mekong River in Chiang Kong. The couple who own the place are the nicest hotel owners I have ever met. If I am ever back in town I will be sure to stay here again. 👍

Stayed for one night before our trip to Laos and everything was perfect. Great rooms and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful including with advice for taking the slowboat. Wish we could have stayed here longer, we hope to return soon. Highly recommend !

This was a nice little discovery for us prior to taking a boat cruise down the Mekong. The hotel has just what you need to get a restful sleep the night before your departure. The couple that run this property were great and we had nice conversations with them. They speak English quite well.

I stayed river view room and it is so lovely. I think since you visit Chiang Khong, it is best to stay with river view room. Sitting down at the balcony facing the river is a good feeling. Nice and quiet place with a hot shower, good water pressure and clean bed. Perfect little balcony over looking the river to have a few drinks at. Just a 5 minute walk to the main part of town if you need to get pictures taken or money exchanged for the border run.

It is a budget room in Chiang Khong. Ample parking, lots of food, and nearby there is a flea market every Wednesday.

The price is not expensive, 500 for the general public, 400 for the salesperson. The room is clean and usable, has a refrigerator, has an extra mattress, can sleep 3 people.

Clean, modern room. We've booked the standard but with an ensuite bathroom. It was on the same floor as the rooms with shared bathrooms. The latter is indeed close to the room. There is a laundry below and the lady is super friendly!!
