Beautiful beach side huts with amazing views, a good place to walk out into the sea for a great view of the cliffs at low tide, staff really friendly as you would expect in Thailand

The receptionist is very lovely friendly and helpful, the Bungalow is beautiful, the only downside of this place was the constant boat noise from early morning to late night but it isn't the hotel fault still had a great stay here.

Quite secluded away from Ao Nang however it’s cheap to use Grab or a taxi to get to town. Not too many dining options within walking distance during the day. Bungalows clean, quiet & great A/C. Good quality wi-fi. Grounds & pool well maintained. Beach/Bay Area isn’t really appropriate or appealing for swimming but it’s beautiful to look at.

- Many gazebos to sit and enjoy the breeze by the water
- Quiet environment
- Really hospitable and helpful staff at the reception
- Refill coffee and two small bottles of water everyday
- very easy motorbike rent. They also have good bikes.
Cons:
There aren’t anything major, really; just small things that can make the room perfect:
- no handsoap
- no soap-holder in the bathroom
- no toilet paper holder in the bathroom

Diamond beach resort is located in AoMan Mao in close proximity to the boat jetties. Approx 5kms from AoNang. Grab taxi into town is approx 120 bhat. Nearby are 3 supermarkets and a few restaurants (To Burger restaurant very good and cheap - No alcohol).
Accommodation is either hotel rooms or beach bungalow. Bungalows are on the sea front with terrace. Nice pool with lounges. The hotel does a good rate when booking direct. The only downside to this resort is the constant noise from the long tail boats, which constantly run nearly 24/7. Ear plugs are advised for a good sleep.

Stayed there for a few days in a wooden cottage. It was a cute, quiet and chill place with its own small private beach. The water there was coming and going but there was a pool nearby so you still could swim if needed.
The receptionist was helpful and positive. I also tried pineapple pancakes with tea for breakfast there once. It costed around 100 baht.
The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom situation in houses I think. Having a shower head basically over your toilet doesn't seem that nice nor hygienic to me.

Was a nice place just outside of the main ao nang area. Close to the pier that can take you to railey beach and the main beach.
Pool is great for lazing and chilling. Exceptional service from arrival, I arrived early and they let me use the pool until room was ready.

This place is an absolute disappointment.. The property only has 5 staff in total which contributes drastically for what I’m about to write.
We stayed in the bungalows. To start off the bungalows are extremely dirty rat sh** on the walls around the shower.. stains on the sheets.. the entire cabin is wood and full of mold. The smell is absolutely awful.
They also claim to have a beach front resort when we arrived the beach is non existent and you are unable to swim in the ocean there. They claimed it was because of the tide but doing more research about this property that’s been a problem there for years.. False advertising at this resort is top notch
They also claim to have a lively beach bar that can be more entertaining than a night out on the town. The bar was completely gutted and hasn’t been operating for what I assume has been months.
When we complained to the front desk staff about the said rat sh** + mold and everything wrong in the bungalow we were told it’s because the cabins are in nature and “eco friendly” we just finished up our previous stay in the jungle in a bunglow with no issues. They looked at us and said “oh they like modern clean”
The property is also full of very sickly looking stray cats and stray dogs .. the dogs are not nice and you can hear them barking all throughout the night.
For the price you pay here you would be better off in a hostel! We ended up leaving and rebooking at a different resort.

All in all, for the money it’s really good. The only things that rubbed us the wrong way, is the “private beach”, which is a lagoon. Just don’t mention it and it’s fine, since they have a pool.
That said we stayed here 3 nights and we had a lot of fun around here :)

Breakfast was just right, hitting that sweet spot between too much and too little. The house? Cozy and that AC was a blessing. Fun fact, we asked for two beds and got this massive, comfy one instead.
Now, let's talk about the restroom - it's not exactly the cleanest. And those windows? Could use a good scrub too.
One thing to note, though, is the beach - not the nicest, mostly stones, no sand.
The outdoor space was a definite plus, great for unwinding. And can you believe it? We snagged this deal for just €15 per person on Airbnb. Diamond Beach? Absolute steal! 🌴🌟"
