Aonang Dugong-SHA Extra Plus

Cleanliness and location 100%, didn't wear shoes in the room and didn't have any dirt on my feet, a few metres from the main road, near the beach and many food places, Watsons, money changer, supermarket etc around. A popular Thai restaurant just beside the hotel. Room was spacious, with a large work area, bed was comfy. Staff are nice, able to check in early which was really nice after arriving on a morning flight. Really like it, very value for money, will stay here again.

The room is clean and spacious. The bed and pillow is soft and comfortable. Location is good, walking distance to Aonang street and Aonang beach. Room is quiet. The staff are very friendly. Every thing was good. Just be aware, there is only 1 lift for each block. the lift is out of service for few hours when we are staying there, we have to walk the staircase to level 5 😆.

Center of everything, room is Spacious, modern. and comfortable. Comes with the lift.
Front desk will help you book with all the tours you need.

Room doesn't come with toothbrush and paste.
Daily cleaning is upon request, and doesn't top up essential like toilet rolls , we stayed for 5 days 4 Nights.

Pool is small but nice. Paid Breakfast is just ok, had nicer elsewhere in Thailand.

This is my second visit, and I truly appreciate the friendliness of the staff here. They are very kind and always willing to assist when needed. The room environment is quiet, well-equipped, and immaculate. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

4. **Comfortable Beds:** The beds are soft and equipped with high-quality linens, ensuring a good night's sleep for guests.
5. **Pleasant and Clean Pool:** The swimming pool is very enjoyable and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience at the hotel.

**Cons:**
1. **Room Cleaning Service Needs Improvement:** The housekeeping service requires significant enhancement. They often fail to remove all trash from the room and do not adequately replace used coffee dishes.
2. **Inadequate Room Sweeping:** The cleaning of the rooms is not thorough enough, particularly regarding sweeping.
3. **Language Barrier at Reception:** The reception staff, especially the night attendants, need to improve their English proficiency. Communication is currently a challenge, and this is a critical area for improvement.

Really nice mid range hotel. Lucky enough to get a view of the water from the room. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Short walk to the beach. Also have affordable tour options. Restaurant across the street is great.

The hotel was modern and clean. It has a view of the ocean from the top floor. The pool is nice. It is walking distance from the beach. There is a great Thai restaurant next door. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean modern rooms. They replenish the water bottles, towels and clean the room everyday. There’s coffee and tea in the room, as well as a mini fridge. Was lucky enough to check-in earlier as the room was ready by 10am. Pool was nice as well. The hotel is very close to the beach and the location is a good base for island hopping. I had a very pleasant stay and can recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Aonang.

Very nice hotel closed by the main street and facing the best restaurant in town.

We spent 4 nights here during the low season (end of May) and we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was good and spacious. The bathroom was clean. We had kettle, coffee and a little fridge (everything we needed 😉). The staff was very friendly.

We stayed in the second building (I think it is called B). Our room was facing the jungle and it was very nice (all the rooms have a balcony).

The highlight of our stay though was the pool.

If you are in the area I highly recommend it.
