Phu Pha Aonang Resort & Spa

Great cost place, surrounded by nature! It has a natural feel all around. Lots of vegetation, fiah ponds spread throughout the resort and wooden bungalows. All staff interactions were friendly. Overall it offers great value for money, both for accommodations and services like breakfast or laundry.

We had a great time here, it really does feel like you're set in the jungle, the way the landscaping is curated is really wonderful.

The rooms were comfortable and mostly very clean, but the nature of all of the varnished wood with rough edges is that some of it is a little difficult to dust. In particular, the fly net over the bathroom window in the shower of room 12 is really in need of a deep clean. The rest of the room was great though. We appreciate that in our room a nail above the bed made it the most convenient hotel for hanging a mosquito net. The smart TV meant it was the only place on our trip we could indulge in a little Netflix in the evenings, and the Aircon was great, too. The wooden furnishings are very charming.

The reception team were super helpful, and very kind. The pool was clean, and the communal spaces were comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast based on our dietary needs and having read some other reviews.

The only two things I would perhaps say is more than once we could smell guests smoking grass from balcony's which is not the hotels fault, but they could maybe have a sign on check in. The other thing is that if you've got a heavy bag, it is quite an athletic feat to get it up to a 1st floor room (2nd floor for Americans). My partner wouldn't have been able to do this without my help.

The hotel is setback from the main road, which means it's quieter. This is great.

Is like heaven on earth, full of greenery and quiet, close to a tall rock that makes the view from the pool breathtaking.
The rooms are spacious, they are cleaned every day, offers 2 complementary water bottels daily.
Is situated about 20 min walk from the beach but very close to shops and restaurants but the location also has a small restaurant where you can have a snack at very good prices.
I highly recommend it to anyone.

Places is absolutely stunning. Perfect for solo and couples. They have sauna, swimming pool, gym, restaurant and shuttle bus to Aonang beach accessible to those staying. Staff are super friendly and helped organise tours and activities for you if needed. A lot of tours do pick from here regularly. Very happy and will visit again. 20min walk to beach and Aonang beach front strip with restaurants, take aways, tour companies, ect

Great reception. Pool was good and calm surroundings with trees. Bugs can be found at balcony because of the trees. Wifi connection to our room was not strong because of the distance may be. No intercom to communicate. You can call their number through your cellphone. No complimentary breakfast was provided.
Rent your scooter from outside as their price is little higher than outside shops. 1km to beach with quiet area to stay.
Bathroom has this rustic decor. Hence not so clean.
All the toiletries were provided.
Check in and check out was smooth. 24hrs front desk available if you arrive late.
Wooden cabin style rooms are very pretty and they did a free of cost decor for my husbands birthday with local flowers. Loved the 3 nights stay here.

Staff and Service:
First and foremost, the staff is outstanding. The ladies at the reception have been nothing short of excellent. I rented a motorbike and needed to return it before my departure at 5:30 am, and they accommodated this without any issues. We also booked an island-hopping trip directly through the reception. Although the pamphlet advertised a price of 3600 baht per person, we only paid 2800 baht as they found us the best deals. Similarly, the motorbike rental was originally 300 baht per day, but they secured a rate of 250 baht per day for us. The lovely ladies at the reception truly deserve a raise!

Location:
The hotel is situated away from the main, noisy streets, yet it is close enough to walk to them. The walk to the beach is a bit far, but since I ride a motorbike, it wasn’t a problem for me. Additionally, there is always a tuk-tuk lorry available on site at frequent intervals to take guests to the beach.

Room:
The room, while old, has its charm. I loved the balcony where you can soak in the views and enjoy your morning coffee. Given the proximity to beautiful mountains, mosquitos are to be expected. However, a mosquito spray from 7-11 for 60 baht resolved this issue for me. The pool is good and always clean. I didn’t opt for the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

Overall:
An amazing place. If I ever come to Krabi again, I would definitely stay here.

Cheap price and amazing place. Staff were most friendly and the pool was clean. Gym is a little rundown but better than none. Free shuttle to the beach too!
