The breakfast isn't a buffet but rather a range of set menus. Nevertheless the breakfast was great; the portions were perfect and you get a drink alongside with it.
Note: There are bars in front of the hotel, and it can get noisy at night. If you're sensitive to noise, avoid rooms facing the street.
Also, while some reviews mention halal breakfast, be aware that pork is served — double-check with staff if needed.
Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed very nicely. However there was no staff to help out with the luggage so the receptionist did as best she could to help, but only until the reception.
I was glad to know they had the accurate room with balcony requirements. But what was odd to me was that the whole building was a non-smoking zone and were only allowed to smoke on the front yard/entrance of the building.
The hotel shared the lobby with a coffee shop so it was always busy around the reception area and a lot of movement was going on.
We had to carry our luggage to our room and back while leaving. The non-smoking rule was very vague as we were informed that the fine will be 5000 BAHT and determine from the smell alone or suspicion..?
The rooms were dirty and the cleaner did a very shoddy job each day. The beds were super uncomfortable as the mattresses were really old and worn out. The bathrooms were leaking from dirty pipes that my child wouldn't stop getting into. The kids area was NOT SAFE as it opened up to a spiral staircase and any child even with adult supervision could fall when in an adrenaline rush. I would give 10 points for the location and how easily accessible everything was, but the hotel needs to manage the property and keep it well maintained and remove dust mites from the corners of the room.
As for cleanliness, it was just okay—nothing to complain about, but don't expect too much. The room was quite spacious for the price, which was a plus. However, I was quite disappointed with the toilet. The water didn’t drain properly, so it would pool on the floor, which was unpleasant.
