We stayed two nights on the island and loved it. It is everything you would expect from an island resort. The only let-down was the condition of the accommodation, which is well overdue for some refurbishment work, and did not live up to the prices charged.

Beautiful island. Koh Talu is a private island a bit south from bansaphan. The houses are Thai style and a bit old, though has a good shower. During night expect mosquitoes, my partner had no problem but they seemed to love me. Overall nice experience, friendly and helpful staff, really good food and a nice beach. I could retire to this place.

Excellent food. Good service. Pleasant surroundings, good snorkeling offshore. Seen many fish. Has a turtle hatchery. Guided activities are worth participating in. Good inshore kayaking.

We were cycling past this hotel in the rain and we had enough of being wet so we stopped here. Wow! What a magnificent place. We were very lucky in was nice and quiet and got a great deal. The staff are just great along with the food.

We went there and there's nobody maybe you have to call beforehand. It's not the best time to come specially during this time of cvid. Theres no nearby restaurants or some are closed down.. We would love to stay here maybe nexttime.

Small family owned business, simple but nice, different rooms for couples and families, beach walking distance of 250 mts. Place has a small pool, can get children to swim there too. Need your car to reach the place and move around to nearby restaurants for meals.

Pleasently surprised by this hotel, staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. We upgraded to a larger room upon arrival without any problem. Room was fantastic, huge compared to other rooms we have stayed for similar price, we would have stayed longer if time would let us. Pleasant stay. We had 2 rooms on the second floor with a large balcony and living room. Clean and comfortable and has an amazing restaurant 1 minute drive away. Beach isn't really usable due to garbage. Staff was friendly. It's a large house, not a resort or hotel, so more of a B&B.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay for one night while passing through on a cycling tour. Decent rooms in a quiet location that has private access to a fantastic beach only a few metres away. The couple who run this are very welcoming and helpful - and the food they served was delicious and good value. Definitely recommended.

I disagree with the Dark Killer's review. This is a peaceful place, with large and comfortable rooms, absolutely affordable (750 baht for the sea view room, no breakfast). The Burmese couple run the place in a honest and respectful way. Obviously they can't do everything at the best, cooking for instance, but they are good. The environment is so pleasant. The beach isn't touristic, it's true, not clean...

Great place to stay if you want peace!! Staff is very delightful!! There are caves, beaches, temples and plenty of local life to submursive yourself in!!

Full marks! My parents (48 years old) stayed there for 16 nights in July 2018. One of the best holidays they've ever experienced. Excellent personal care and attitude of the owner Tam, who was taking care of them 24/7 and arranged trips to the surroundings, recommended places to visit and provided assistance with the transportation. Thanks to him and his friends, my parents fell in love with Bang Saphan...

I like the rooms that they give you and the swimming pool as well it has 2 separate pools the warm circle one and the colder bigger one the food isn't bad and it is right next to the beach as well. It would be a great place for tourists in Thailand.

Good pool, food and location right on tbe beach with huts and p'tonk game. Lemongrass salad is good. However, the bungalows not very clean especially bedding and extremely old uncomfortable mattresses. Nice to go there to hang out on the beach or go for a swim but wouldn't stay here again. Fresh coconuts are great and the staff are friendly.

We came here to rest 4 nights with a teenager, and booked a family cottage. We were looking for a quiet place, not a crowded beach with bars - and our stay was beyond our expectations. The place is nested away from any kind of annoyance... Just put your slippers and have a stroll on this lovely beach that has not been destroyed by mass tourism. Family run business. Quiet place to unwind yourself. Great place for big group or big family. However, this place is no frill. Don’t expect any swimming pool or restaurant. It is 200m from beach.

Absolutely loved my stay at love at sea resort. The cabins were everything I needed and the air conditioning was such a relief. And I loved the owners, they were so welcoming, as well as their cats and dog. Can't wait to go back again.

We had a great time at Baan Love at Sea. The room was nice and clean with a big terrace, we only had to cross the terrace to reach the sea and the beach. The food at the restaurant was delicious.

We do like the ladies who own that bungaloes, they do have more sensible of reponsible than the owner of The theatre villa.

I made only one mistake in booking there, we only booked for one night, after 1 hour there we wanted to extend our stay but the beach side room that we had was booked for the next day. Fantastic little resort with a real family feel because of the ultra friendly staff/owner, who made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and attended to our every need. A quaint, charming place, with a beautiful beach view. The owner is a wonderful hostess, and goes out of her way to accommodate everyone. She will arrange excursions for you, too. The food was great, but during the of season, the owner is the cook and waitress also, so service is a laid back pace. (That did not bother us, since we were on a laid back vacation). I stayed at Apple bungalows in Bang Saphan. The rooms were all very clean and my family all had a great time. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach is only around 200 metres away. The area is very quiet and relaxing. Apple and Chris were lovely and very helpful. We will definitely go back and stay there again.

That was a real hit! Visited friends nearby and, thank God, ended up staying with Christian and his very nice wife in the Apple Bungalow by chance. Feeling from the first moment: like at home, only better: with sun, sea and friends. We can only recommend. Apart from that a top well-kept resort. We loved this location and would stay again. Rooms are very outdated (and bathroom has a smelly drain). But we wanted something right on the beach, and it was. We stayed in the Bungalow with Seaview rooms, which are right on the beach, would recommend. The other wood cabin rooms don't look onto the beach, they are close-ish still. You will need a car to get around, and google maps told us to drive...

Peaceful, helpful owners, lovely location. The furniture is old, but it didn't spoil a pleasant stay. Nearby restaurants are handy if you're too lazy to drive into town for food. You will definitely relax here. It really is on the beach.

Awesome service by the staff who woke up at 5.15am to prepare rake away breakfast for this group of bicycle travellers. This made up for the lack of a lift to bring our bicycles to the rooms.

It is my first day here and the hotel is very pleasant. It is clean, large and well appointed. The area is ok, the beach is not the cleanest I have seen but... The people living on the seafront are very friendly, smiling and saying hello to me 😃. I think I will enjoy it here (especially if I can get a reduction scooter on the rent! It is rather expensive 😟

Quite a clean hotel when searching for accommodation in Thailand. There's breakfast provided, tho they gave us the wrong room (1king bed n 1extra bed turned to 2 single beds and 1 sofa) and there were issues with the TV and other stuffs. Visited in August 2019 for five nights. Clean and quite new hotel with a bit different, fresh and relaxed style. Friendly staff and service. Traces of wear and corrosion had however started to show up in the bathroom of our room (111). The WiFi seemed to lose internet connection occasionally. The front desk said that it's being fixed, but that seemed to could take even a day, and it happened at least...

Nice hotel, definitely a value hotel. Showers is warm enough and I would recommend you order rice soup as extra for breakfast. I only sleep in the room and is outside all day. Would return.

Nice resort next to the beach, soothing atmosphere, greenery all around, gentle winds and a great view of the ocean. With a bunch of new hotels that have come up in downtown Bang Saphan, this resort is low on occupancy but still a good place to stay. The breakfast fare is quite ordinary.

My wife and I are currently staying at the Sailom Resort Bangsaphan. There are very few other guests so it is very quiet and tranquil. The swimming pool is only steps away and remains empty most of the time. The staff are few and the kitchen fare is simple. We haven't encountered any foreign tourists yet. The Bangsaphan coast was heavy damaged in December and January 2017 when seasonal rains destroyed...

Looks very tired and a bit run down. Reasonably priced but you just have to keep reminding yourself of that if your going to stay there. Staff nice enough though.

On 27-29 Nov. '16, stayed at Kasemsuk Resort, Ban Krut, Ban Vimarn Talay. Very impressed, clean room, staff taking care, smiling. and provide good service Room rates are not expensive. If there is a chance to stay here again for sure I would like to appreciate and encourage the owner of the resort with excellent management.

Great spot to bring big family. Feels like a private beach. Beds are a little stiff but definitely a great deal to stay. It's a little far from the nearby town for supplies but if you have your own vehicle it's worth the trip.
