Modern and comfortable hotel in a large resort complex on the shore of the lake is great for all groups of tourists. You will find bright spacious rooms and a friendly atmosphere.
Built: 2015
Location: in the district of Bangtao beach, Laguna Phuket complex, 18 km from the centre of the nightlife of Patong beach, 20 km from Phuket airport .
Consists of seven-storey buildings.
The hotel has 251 rooms.
Beach: a private area on the public sandy 150 m from the hotel (2 coastline). Umbrellas and sunbeds for a fee.

Attention! In the period from November 2016. will be building another hotel building: some of the rooms, but only sold as “ROH” – can be partial views of construction.
Other categories will be placed overlooking the garden /pool/lake, so they will not be affected by views of construction works.
Time of work: 9:00 to 17:00, - possible noise.
The work will be suspended for the period 24 December 2016 7 January 2017.

Our stay at Cassia Phuket was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning.
The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless.
The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at **Cassia Phuket in Laguna** during my October trip to Thailand, and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my journey!
Originally, I booked for 3 nights, but I loved it so much that I extended my stay and returned for another 2 nights at the end of my trip. What truly made my experience unforgettable was the **incredible reception team** – they are absolute stars! From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warmth and genuine smiles, and they even remembered me as **"Khun Ian"**, which made me feel so welcome and special.
A huge shoutout to **Tale, Night, Ead, Oui, Bonus, Shin, Pii, Baris, P, and Csaba** – I hope I haven’t missed anyone, because every single one of you was fantastic. You were always there to help with any question I had, whether it was about local restaurants, places to visit, or just a friendly chat. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your kindness and professionalism truly made my stay exceptional.
The hotel itself is brilliant – spacious and stylish apartment style rooms, fitted with a kitchen, a beautiful swimming pool, and easy access to the beach. At first glance, Cassia looked like great value, and I can see why Agoda lists it as a 5-star property — probably because of the large compound and shared Laguna amenities. But in reality, the 5-star label is very misleading and doesn’t even meet solid 4-star standards.
The kids’ club was especially disappointing. The room smelled musky, toys were falling apart, and one of the playhouse doors was broken and could have fallen on a child — I actually had to move and hide it to prevent an accident. It really shows how poorly maintained and unsafe the area was. The kids’ pool also had sand inside, which might be intentional but made it uncomfortable for little ones.
The breakfast was the biggest letdown. While the team tried to surprise my son with a birthday singalong (a thoughtful gesture), the experience overall was chaotic and unhygienic:
• The outdoor registration staff seemed untrained and confused about orders.
• The noodle station was unattended — birds were pecking at uncovered meat.
• Birds also flew into the indoor area and landed near uncovered food.
• Most dishes tasted bland or stale, lacking any real flavour.
To make it worse, there seemed to be a lot of staff around, yet most looked clueless and uncoordinated, suggesting poor training and weak management.
It feels like the property is trying to appear upscale through scale and design, but missing the fundamentals of hospitality and upkeep. If they cut down on the frills and focused on quality, maintenance, and staff training, it could be a decent family resort. But as it stands, it’s far from deserving a 5-star rating.

Wonderful experience here at Cassia Phuket.
The staff and the hotel room were the best features about it, but on top of that the location and the amenities included were top notch too. All the staff are courteous, always say hello to you. Customer service was very quick any time we called for something like extra water or a quick cleanup. My birthday happen to be in the week we stayed here, and the staff brought up cake to my room and setup a happy birthday sign while I was out. Overall staff is just going the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay.
The hotel is conveniently located two minutes from Bang Tao Beach and a shuttle boat is provided free of charge to take you there and back. Generally a good place to stay with a family.
Pros:
- Design is modern, colorful and nice
- Staff are super helpful and always keeps smiling!
- Pool area is great
- Gorgeous beach and very reliable water shuttles to it.
Cons:
- When booking a room with no lagoon view it is actually means that you are road view, and the isolation is extremely bad!
- Breakfast lacks variety, especially for kids.
- Location is a bit isolated from anything in the island. If you are a clubber or any young spirited person, this is not the location for you.

I will not recommend families to stay here. Rooms aren't sound proofed or blackout and it gets bright early as the curtains aren't able to keep them out so my kids didn't have a restful sleep especially in the second room. We were placed in the second floor right above the vista restaurant with music playing till late at night. We booked their anniversary package which comes with many complimentary vouchers and benefits but upon check in we were not offered anything and when I checked the next day staff were confused and look like they didn't even know this existed. We did get the vouchers in the end but it took a while. Staff are generally helpful and nice especially those at vista where the crew was very nice to help pack our lunch and delivered it after we changed our mind to take it by the pool one afternoon, thank you to all of you!
However, in addition to confused crew at the front desk, one shouted at me when I was asked multiple times over the phone the number of people for pick up by their tuk tuk at villa market (perhaps due to connection issue or language barrier) and finally I reiterated the number more loudly as I thought maybe she couldn't hear me. I got told off to calm down and got hang up on the phone..?!! Overall it's not a bad hotel but it's not 4 star service and quality for sure, breakfast was the same everyday for the 4 days we were there, no one seat you and we had to roam around and wait for people to leave their table on one morning with two kids with us, you need to bring your luggage to and from your room, the advertised kids club is also just a playroom with no one in charge and having one is a priority got us each time we travel so we were very disappointed. We had a good holiday nonetheless and the shuttle services and pool and beach were great but for that price there's other better options for family and we'll likely not come back

We stayed for 8 nights to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing experience from the start. We booked a transfer with the hotel, and the reservation team was friendly and helpful. Upon our late-night arrival, Dee-nee assisted us with several things and continued to be a great help throughout our stay. The hotel provided a convenient shuttle bus to the beach, which was perfect for our family, especially with an infant, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. However, the breakfast selection could use some improvement, as it was very similar each day. It would be nice to see more variety every 2-3 days. Additionally, many of the staff seemed quite junior and unsure of how to approach guests, though they were all very kind and polite overall

We are presently staying in a beautiful, modern 2 bedroomed suite and enjoying it immensely.
The connected pools are lovely with beautiful views over the lagoon to the beach where the shuttle boats take anyone wanting to have a beach visit.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is busy but we'll catered with lots of options for all dietary requirements.

Great experience! Check-in process was smooth and efficient, with no delays or hassles.
The room was really nice —modern, clean, with a comfy bed, and the view over the lake was perfect! It really made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
What stood out most for me was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, full of energy, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Whether I had questions or needed assistance, they were always there with a smile.
The amenities were also great. I enjoyed the pool, which was clean and well-maintained. The private beach was a great addition, though I did miss having a beach bar or beach club to enhance the overall vibe.
