Al's Resort

I love its peaceful ambience but it's near ARK Bar where I can enjoy dance music there. The staff is kind to accept my request if my friend staying another hotel can use its facility as I am solo guest booking a double room. However he didn't.

This hotel for price and quality is the best option. We booked the deluxe garden, the room had everything we needed, we were given 2 extra pillows and 2 hangers on request. Rooms are a little bit old, but there is a renovation in progress. Their restaurant has 20% discount for hotel guests, we had dinner 1 time. 2 swimming pools.
It is located perfectly in the middle of Chaweng and the big shopping center " Central Festival" just across the street.

The place is greatly located in Chaweng, close to everything while being quiet enough.
The swimming pool with beach access is just gold ! Lots of space and really quiet, probably underrated compared with other resorts or bars around.
Surely there are other more luxury resorts with better and more modern rooms but Al's resort value is just absolutely great. The personnel is really nice and friendly.
I would come back here 100% for my next Samui trip. I've met with the owner and he was really arranging and friendly.

Just got back from Al's Resort, spent 14/15 days/nights there. Highly recommend for many reasons. The friendly hardworking staff, the 2 awesome pools (one has a bar) "hated that one" 😁 Location is great- 5 minute walk to everything!! Clubs & night markets & if you're game (I was) street food. Everyone friendly & very safe.. Finally take some time to enjoy something new, you won't regret it..

I've read so many negative reviews about this place but when I recently stayed at this place, I never faced any issues as such.

Starting from the behaviour of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and washroom and one of the best location and pool with sea view in such less budget. Even the breakfast spread is decent.

Originally we only had 3 days booked into this hotel however it didn’t take long for us to decide we were going to extend. Rooms were gorgeous nice and bright and very spacious, house keeping came everyday so the room was so lovely and clean. The pool has a lovely view over looking the beach and the atmosphere was great, nice and laid back and relaxing with a lovely big pool, watching the planes take off. The Food was also fantastic here lovely and flavourful. The location is right in the Center with the shopping mall across the road, bars and shops at either side of you. I noticed a few other reviews about renovations, yes the kitchen dining area was closed our visit but there was absolutely not noise whatsoever from the renovations and the selected food from the hut was absolutely fantastic. The staff truly made this an amazing experience with how lovely and accommodations they have been including booking us taxis, trips & just giving us advice on what to do and where to go. All in all it was an absolutely fantastic stay at Al’s Resort and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a relaxing holiday with things to do that are walking distance!
