The hotel is facing the beach, however it is not a proper beach as it’s more like a lake, with algae and mud, sludge instead of sand. Nice hotel overall. The soaps in the room smell so good. The breakfast is one of the better ones with lots of selection and good quality. Some downsides maybe the beach, which is not the best for swimming. It is more like a muddy bay good for clamming. Lots of flies and mosquitoes at the pool and garden room areas. Been here around 7 times in my life, never fail to impress! Breakfast is above and beyond, location amazing as you can walk to the busy parts of chaweng but the hotel is located just outside it. The beach that the hotel is located on is just pure white and soft! Amazing place.

Hotel is clean and modern and staff very friendly. Breakfast is good quality but always extremely busy. The pool/beach area is nice but not enough sunbeds relative to guests and always crowded with people trying to reserve with towels. Beautiful place. We stayed in an oceanfront balcony pool suite. The room was very well designed although it could be a little bigger. The a la carte breakfast was very good especially the smashed avocado. Service is decent but definitely could improve compared to other 5 star hotels in Thailand.

Clean modern and warm rooms. If you book the beach front private pool , you get a small pool where you can order the floating breakfast. Friendly staff but the housekeeping is not 24 hours so get what you need before late night. Plenty of taxis outside and a family mart right on the property. I can only wholeheartedly recommend the privilege hotel in koh samui. The service is very personalised as the hotel is rather small and has few rooms. We had a lovely time here thanks to great staff, especially since we arrived on an early flight and were accommodated so well while we waited for a room to be ready. The best experience was the stuff who working serving breakfast and the pool stuff. Spent 7 nights here in July. Resort is in a great location and hotel is clean and the restaurants and bars are great. Happy hour with buy one get one free at 2-4 at the beach bar which was great. Layout of the hotel and the pool-area is really nice. Location is good for chaweng beach as it is on a quiet spot but you can be in the action within minutes. Room is way too small to accomodate 2 adults and a kid with their luggage. In addition to that the a/c was really loud… summing up the accomodation in the room was really poor.

I stayed at Chaba in July 2024 and had such a brilliant time! The room was lovely, staff were so friendly and I felt so relaxed! It’s so great that it has its own private beach and pool, feels very luxurious! As a vegetarian I was nervous coming to Thailand, but Chaba had plenty of vegetarian options and the food was great. I can’t wait to come back soon!

I would rate this hotel higher as the rooms, people and service are great however I felt a bit cheated as they did not mention anywhere before booking there is a huge construction underway next door and also on the streets with changing or installing water pipes (with a lot of mud when it rains making it impossible to walk without getting dirty) . Staff was super friendly, facilities are great right by the beach. The water is rougher on this part of the beach but if you want a calmer beach just walk down the beach. The facilities is nice and clean and the breakfast has wide selection for everyone.

We came here for our honeymoon as first stop in Thailand! Our ocean front villa with the pool is stunning and very clean! Yes it’s far from the lobby but the staff always there when we need to go out! They pick us up and drop off when we need to! The location of the resort is the best of Koh Samui! Everytime I come here it feels like home. The staff is always friendly, the beach is beautiful, there are enough sunbeds and the personal will place a parasol for you. Then came along verticolor a reasonably price hotel with what I expected but I didn’t expect the staff to go above and beyond for my anniversary needs!! We spent a comfortable 4 days here. Breakfast buffet was good but little variation. Rooms a nice size. WiFi was erratic but be patient. A smallish gym but good for a workout. Nice large pool but water gets too warm. The road towards the beach is grubby but only 10 minutes walk. Many bars, restaurants, shops nearby. A 24-hour supermarket across the road at the back. Good value hotel.

This is my favorite hotel and I spend almost every year there. It has pleasant and clean rooms that offer cleaning every day. There is a small gym and you can do a nice workout there. This hotel doesn't have a lift. But the most important point is that this is only 200-300 mts away from the beach. And the staff is very helpful. We were hosted by Nok, she helped us woth our ferry transfers and everything else.

Room was comfortable and clean. Great view of sunrise from our 3rd floor room. WiFi and all the basic amenities - air conditioning , fridge, kettle etc available. No lifts, only stairs. We had to carry our luggage up 4 floors from the basement carpark. Short walk to the beach.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Feb and loved it. The location is excellent, right on the beach with a great pool area which wasn't overcrowded. There was a good variety of food available at breakfast, even the fussy eaters managed to find something everyday. Oh, and the lady cooking eggs and waffles was fantastic! I was surprised at breakfast one morning with a cake for my birthday which was a really nice...

I love its peaceful ambience but it's near ARK Bar where I can enjoy dance music there. The staff is kind to accept my request if my friend staying another hotel can use its facility as I am solo guest booking a double room. However he didn't.

The place is greatly located in Chaweng, close to everything while being quiet enough. The swimming pool with beach access is just gold ! Lots of space and really quiet, probably underrated compared with other resorts or bars around. The room is okay, the hotel is fine. Once it was maybe a 4-star hotel, but now it is more 3-star because of the neglect. VERY IMPORTANT! The airport is right behind the area, so it is very loud every time a flight leaves (10 times a day). But the pool is nice. The beach area not so much.

The Green Hotel is in a great location, a stone's throw from the beach. The owner, Fabrice, his family and staff are very helpful and kind and will do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and the food is awesome. Best coffee I had all holiday.

Can get a second-rate room for as little as $19 a night. Have to walk a block to get to the beach. Only women work at the Nantra apparently. The female staff are never fluent in english. Staff was amazing and the room was good size but the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioner struggled to cool off the room. Room was noisy from the street traffic as it’s on the main road. Only stayed 1 night.
