Hotels on first line in Chaweng Beach

I personally really liked that they have a restaurant/beach club where you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner with an amazing view over the sea. The food was really good and the people very welcoming!

I would like to mention in particular the pool bar staff especially Namfon, Ninja and Max!!! For being so nice, friendly and always happy to help and serve

I stayed both in a dorm and in a private room. The property has 3 buildings and each building has dorm rooms & private rooms. The dorms have a very cool key concept. You will find no trouble staying here for days

Stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. I don’t think there is anything I could find negative about this place. The staff is super friendly and made us feel extremely comfortable as soon as we checked in

Everyone greets you with a big smile every time you cross paths. Special thanks for Mina and Ollie who made our stay extremely memorable. If you like parties and having a bit of fun, don’t think twice

Everything is pretty much organised, the reception is 24*7, they even have a separate corner where one of the staffs has been assigned the work to help you with your day trips, cabs & other bookings

We recently had a pleasure to stay at Amari Samui resort. Our stay was truly a dream come true. The rooms we were given were absolutely perfect, and the variety of the breakfast offerings delighted us each morning

The location is exceptional, providing the perfect balance between stepping into the vibrant Chaweng Main Street and retreating into the peaceful quiet of the hotel grounds

I not sure what position he is but he does his job with spectacular service mind and make good experience for customer. All food not fancy but it’s nice

Safe and secure and also very good breakfast and nice clean pools and beach

We do the only dinner at the Amari Even the reception and bell did not do the great service

The hotel is facing the beach, however it is not a proper beach as it’s more like a lake, with algae and mud, sludge instead of sand

This hotel literally forms part of the Central Festival Mall complex and includes a rooftop swimming pool and is a 5-minute walk from the beach or just about anything else you want to see/do in Chaweng

Location : Awesome ! if you are looking for a budget hotel which is located in the center of Chaweng Beach, nearby Central Samui, and very easy to reach many local restaurants around the hotel

Location is highly strategic, cleanliness is excellent, and the rooftop infinity pool is breathtaking

Late review here (we stayed for a month in December 2023), but I know that this hotel remains a highlight stay for anybody who wants to be as close to Chaweng Central as possible

This is an exceptional value hotel with small but very clean and modern rooms. Incredible showers (spacious, high pressure, very hot water)

The location of the establishment is highly advantageous, being situated in close proximity to the airport

Service was 10/10 Food was 10/10 & Resort amenities 10/10. You cannot fault anything at the CentaraReserve. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning to visit Koh Samui

The hotel is amazing and I really enjoyed salt society and the drink was pretty and delicious

8/10 We are a couple who would like a peaceful vacation. We had a great time in centara, spending most of the time at the adult only infinity pool which was beautiful. Yes, hotel is absolutely beautiful

Breakfast was pleasant but somewhat limited; for our taste, there was not enough variety in jams, fruits, and cold cuts. For instance, the pineapple could have been better prepared by removing the core

Nevertheless, we always found something that we enjoyed. The poolside dining was good. The gym is well-equipped; however, during our visit, the treadmills repeatedly malfunctioned and stopped mid-run

Great hotel right on Chaweng beach and a nice swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was good though super busy especially after 9am. Rooms are small but clean and beds are comfortable. Perfect resort for families and kids

Plenty of restaurants around the hotel in walking distance. Hotel restaurant food was also good. No complaints about this resort only that it was super busy in high season

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a fantastic beach. However, there were unexpected construction works, which was disappointing. Despite that, everything else was excellent, including the breakfast

The rooms are quite small (we were a couple with 2 suitcases). Breakfast was good and the restaurant by the pool is good as well. You can book taxis through reception as grab does not always work (mafia)

Resort is in a great location and hotel is clean and the restaurants and bars are great. Happy hour with buy one get one free at 2-4 at the beach bar which was great

The best experience was the stuff who working serving breakfast and the pool stuff

Hotel: The hotel is located at chaweng Beach and it looks like they used the last year to do a lot of renovation. Room: Our room was upgraded and we were staying right next to the pool with outdoor jacuzzi

Our room was 203 and whilst the bathroom took my breath away, I would say that if you wanted a quieter nights sleep to stay further into the resort nearer to the beach

It was always possible to get a sunbed whatever time throughout the day. We would definitely book this hotel again and would highly recommend anyone considering booking, to do so now as you will not be disappointed!

We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast each morning was absolutely glorious. I must admit that the beach wasn’t as picturesque as I had hoped but if you walk a little further up, you will not be disappointed

The food in the hotel itself was very yummy and extremely well presented. There’s a choice of two swimming pools with the garden pool having a more relaxed vibe

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Chaweng Regent Beach resort and cannot recommend it highly enough

Small but neat and clean area. Good though not too deep pool. Great sunbeds. Large rooms. Of the minuses - the room, the bulb weak.

Great resort, good location, friendly staff. We stayed at the building across the road from the main building but was just as good. A short walk to the main building and beach

kayaks for hire and jet skis walking distance down the beach. Beach vendors gentle in their efforts to sell jewellery, beach wear etc. many options for food, drinks, massages along beach front

Hill side rooms also have a pool, bar and breakfast is also served there. You can choose where you want to have breakfast. Rooms were nice and big, huge bathroom, bed was a bit hard though

It's a short walk back though, we found it easier to walk on the beach than on the street and you also skip walking up the steep hill

Nice private pool, although I feel the outdoor space could do a little more. The food was excellent as well as the views over Chaweng beach. Staff were professional and friendly, and respectful of social distancing

If you book the beach front private pool , you get a small pool where you can order the floating breakfast. Friendly staff but the housekeeping is not 24 hours so get what you need before late night

Stunning hotel with super stylish furniture. Wonderful hotel beach and pool bar. Service at dinner weren't present very often and some vegetarian basic dishes weren't available few times

Plenty of taxis outside and a family mart right on the property. They project movies on a large screen right on the beach at night. And have a great restaurant and bar setup if you just want to relax close to your room

We stayed in an oceanfront balcony pool suite. The room was very well designed although it could be a little bigger. The a la carte breakfast was very good especially the smashed avocado

Stayed in the oceanfront pool suite and the experience was impeccable. The room was neat, ultra spacious and so pleasant to just chillax and sleep in

Beachfront hotel with beautiful clean rooms, a beachside pool with live DJ, two bars, breakfast included, oh and did I mention at night it also turns into the hottest beach club in the entire island? With fire spinning shows on the beach, go go dancers on the stage, and a DJ spinning music into the wee hours

Unless your room is further into the compound away from the beach area, you will not be getting any quiet until around 2am

And the beach party is quite a wild time which some might not find suitable to have their children attending

This is the place to be if you've come to party. On that same note, early birds and families with kids beware

This is THE place to stay on Koh Samui island

Sea is clean and refreshing temperature, there is lovely playground on the beach and enough shadow. Two swings and slide are also beside the pool which was perfect for our little son

Access to the beach is quite far as you need to use the designated path provided by the hotel. Pool access hours are limited, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Thai time), which could be extended for greater convenience

The shakes at the beachbar are delicious! Breakfast is good value. The beachbungalows are on the beach. Waking up with the sunrise is great

A good price and performance fitting hotel. Just next to beach so can swim and have a very nice breakfast next to beach

We had breakfast which is also nice, mostly the same but 2 main dishes and dessert was changing every morning🙂 There are few great restaurants about 10min walk, the first two are Noi Restaurant and Thai Express Restaurant, both good in tastes portions and prices

☺️ You can drive to night market for 150-200Baht. Yes, the beds are hard as mentioned in comments but we slept good🤷‍♀️ Have to say the pillows are very good☺️ Really recommend it for families🙏

We are staying in an Ocean Front Pool Villa booked directly with the hotel

The resort was very quiet and felt secluded even though the road was nearby. But inside the exteramce it was serene. A nice big clean room with a balcony and clear ocean view. The staff was just awesome and amazing.

Pool and beach line were clean and tidy. The only minus - pool and beach towels smell not fresh, like they wast washed or dried well enough. All other parts of service were good

We came here for our honeymoon as first stop in Thailand! Our ocean front villa with the pool is stunning and very clean! Yes it’s far from the lobby but the staff always there when we need to go out! They pick us up and drop off when we need to! The location of the resort is the best of Koh Samui! Only few minutes from the center and the airport!

Stayed 10 nights in a family suite (parents + 14 and 12 years old teenagers). The location is great, north of Chaweng beach in a bay separated from the main beach, but the main attractions are still easily reachable

My partner and i stayed here for our honeymoon and could not recommend this place enough. The location was amazing and quiet. The beach and view were like something from a postcard

Does the job. Cheap room in good location in Chaweng. Noisy in corridors. Some rooms essentially lack windows so research rooms a bit before booking. Pool was nice and gym very functional

Also location wise brilliant, launderette behind, supermarket right there, very short walk to Chaweng beach and loads of great food spots on the doorstep, short trip to some great gyms also! I give it maximum stars because it’s deserved, I can list the minor flaws but I dot feel that’s fair for the value

Nice big bed, good shower and the bigger rooms have balconies. Breakfast is good, and they have a very pretty pool with a bar outside. Motorbikes can be rented, and staff are helpful. I’d highly recommend this hotel

So you get what you pay for! Stayed here for a month whilst trying to reset mind and body. Staff were super friendly the entire time. They kept the rooms clean and tidy. Pool was not too busy with loads of beds

A charming classic beachside hotel at northern Chaweng, on the quieter end. Myself and companion had a really good stay. The room was clean, and I've always had good sleeps throughout the entire stay

The staff were consistently welcoming and attentive, which is always a nice touch. The other highlight is the lovely view of Chaweng beach, although this is the view taken in from the resort's beachfront restaurant

Our only issue is that the hotel is a bit out of the way and walking to a nearby store for drinks or snacks is not really feasible. The views and sunsets are superb

The beach front is not great during the day as it dries up, not sure if it’s the same for other beach resorts nearby. Staff were cordial, we had issues with the AC and the sink but they were promptly fixed

The rooms are great, comfortable beds and great AC. Pool is a bit small but very beautiful and inviting. Beach access is great and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is rich and tasty

Rooms were very clean, with fresh towels and beach towels provided daily. The staff was friendly, and the resort itself was beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of plants, which I really enjoyed

Unfortunately, there were some longer waiting times when ordering drinks, but overall, the staff was very polite and professional. The beach was also lovely, and I would definitely come back

Although the hotel has clear pool rules stating that loungers should not be left reserved for more than one hour if unattended, some guests (mainly German tourists) ignored these rules

However, the lack of enforcement of pool rules may be frustrating for guests who wish to fully enjoy the pool area. With stricter rule enforcement, this hotel would be nearly perfect!

hotel is near to the airport so as you swim at the pool you can have a great view of the flight taking off/landing. Overall it was a pleasant stay & I will definitely come again to stay here

The pool is very large and beautiful, but if you want the ocean you have to go across the street to the Blue Lagoon area. The rooms are very clean and spacious

Not tried the pool but it looks amazing and is 108m long and as the hotel is only partially open, it isn't busy at all. Would definitely stay again at this current price

The Teak is a part of the Blue Lagoon, but on the opposite side of the road. We really enjoyed our stay her even though the hotel is far from finished

Good location and very large room with a good shower and Aircon isn't controlled by the key card so the room stays cool all day even when you are out

Unfortunately there must have been a storm out at sea, the beach was continuously bringing in rubbish all along the beach and eroding the sand, the local staff would clear as much as the could

Best place/resort/beach in Chaweng. Especially the beach is much more wider and nicer than the other areas at Chaweng

Enough sunbeds on the beach and pool for all guests! Friendly staff! Just the Ark Beach Club nearby is very loud until early morning

We ended up picking this place because the reviews said you couldn’t hear it. And they were right! You literally can not hear it at all. Even on the beach you can’t really, until you go for a swim

This hotel doesn't have a lift. But the most important point is that this is only 200-300 mts away from the beach. And the staff is very helpful

I recommend this hotel for the excellent price and friendly staff. Although don't recommend Samui sandbox as you can't bring a friend to your room or rent a MC. Did 7 days in Phuket and I could do it.

Such a great location, right at the beach. 10 second walk from our room into the sea. Highly recommend. The staff are lovely and always smiling. Really short walk to lovely restaraunts.

The pool has a lovely view over looking the beach and the atmosphere was great, nice and laid back and relaxing with a lovely big pool, watching the planes take off. The Food was also fantastic here lovely and flavourful

The staff are amazing can't do enough for you. Room was very clean 1st night I wasn't keen on pillows as bit hard. But asked to change and not a problem 👌. Pool area very clean and relaxing looking over the beach

The swimming pool with beach access is just gold ! Lots of space and really quiet, probably underrated compared with other resorts or bars around

Surely there are other more luxury resorts with better and more modern rooms but Al's resort value is just absolutely great. The personnel is really nice and friendly. I would come back here 100% for my next Samui trip

Very good hotel overall! Booked small villa with private pool very clean. Good if you want private closed space. Near to the airport, but not noisy at all. Came in end November and there was no beach because of high tide

The hotel has a small and private beach, which is great for some water dipping. The hotel is close to the airport, which is good considering taxi from the airport is rather expensive

Enjoy staying here the reception staff are super friendly and cute ! I arrived at night thanks driver Alax and Nu! Nu is super cute and morning it’s Pan and kin they are nice too! However the restaurant staff can be improve a bit as they only asked me once I need any coffee when I stayed for 3 breakfast and the last breakfast my plate was being cleaned without asking me 😅 Other than that is fantastic...

The driver who picked us up, dropped us off, and carried our luggage was very attentive. They even thoughtfully packed a breakfast box for us because we had to leave early at 5:30 AM for a wedding
