Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

**A Perfect Stay at This Tropical Oasis**

We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel. The resort grounds are a true tropical oasis, surrounded by palm and coconut trees, and located right on the best part of the beach.

The beach itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its turquoise waters and soft, powdery sand—perfect for relaxing or taking a dip. The rooms are spacious, with a comfy, firm bed and pillows that ensured a restful sleep each night.

The location is ideal, nestled on a lively street full of restaurants, massage parlors, and bars, but it’s so peaceful at night that we never heard a thing.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Best place/resort/beach in Chaweng. Especially the beach is much more wider and nicer than the other areas at Chaweng. Enough sunbeds on the beach and pool for all guests! Friendly staff! Just the Ark Beach Club nearby is very loud until early morning. Approaching planes are ok, you get used to them… only 1-2 per hour between 07:30am until 09:30pm

Great stay here with family, including kids. Staff were very welcoming and always very friendly, from security, reception, cleaning and bar staff. On a nice stretch of Chaweng beach and close to everything else around town.

Stayed here for 4 nights, we were trying to decide how far to stay away from Ark bar because we were worried about the music at night and we wanted very quiet rooms at night. We ended up picking this place because the reviews said you couldn’t hear it. And they were right! You literally can not hear it at all. Even on the beach you can’t really, until you go for a swim.

The staff here were so lovely, friendly, helpful. The cocktails are really good, the breakfast buffet is great, lots of different styles of food, and starts at 7am.

The beach chairs are super comfy, and lots of them, view is lovely, the beach is a great beach, really calm and clear. Pool is nice, but didn’t need it with the beach.

Rooms are nice and all you need.
I also left my wallet in the room, and on first look they couldn’t find it and I was freaking out but they went back and kept looking and it fell behind the fridge! So I am so grateful they took the time to keep looking before I left the country.

We would 100% stay here again.
Don’t even stress about the noisy beach bars or road noise, it is not an issue at all.

Great spot walking distance along beach to centre Chaweng main street, great food, clean rooms and friendly staff

We arrived at the airport early afternoon. The flight was straight forward from BKK with no delays. Taxi service to the Baan Chaweng was short and relatively inexpensive (300 Baht) for private car.

The resort itself was nice and clean. The staff was great, always had smiles. They provided above level service for the price. The front desk even booked us a private van for (2500 Baht) for a day trip around the island. The driver was very knowledgeable about the best places to go since we had our 6 month old daughter with us on the trip. We really enjoyed the day trip.

Nightlife was incredible. The Baan resort is right on the main strip but just far enough away so the nightlife doesn't bother you at night while sleeping. Plenty of local bars and pubs with a hooters right at the resort entrance. Also, plenty of places to book day trips for golfing, diving, 4x4 excursions and plenty of sightseeing.

Overall... Great inexpensive trip with tons to do. Great for family with small children and young adults.

I had an excellent stay at Baan Chaweng Resort, it felt like staying in a green paradise 🌴
The rooms are very cozy, spotless and welcoming , Chai (reception staff member) really looked after me and my friend and I cannot thank him enough!
