Had a peaceful stay at this lovely beachside resort. The manager and staff were super sweet and even arranged for a surprise birthday cake in the morning for breakfast. Lovely food, great vibes and a perfect vacation spot to just chill out and indulge in the fun activities at the hotel.

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to staying in this hotel but unfortunately our stay did not live up to our expectations.
Several aspects of the hotel were disappointing and left us feeling frustrated throughout our time there.
We checked in to the hotel at 20:00 and were immediately greeted by an unclean room, with towels on the floor, unflushed toilet and sand on the floor. It took the staff about 30 minutes to clean the room, which was very unwelcoming.
At this point, we just wanted to take a shower and call it a day, however, the nightmare continued. Instantly after turning on the water at the shower, a strong sewage smell appeared which made the already unpleasant experience unbearable.
The next morning, we wanted to give this hotel another chance, so we moved to a different room. Upon moving, we were greeted by dozens of mosquitoes in the new room, what a pleasant surprise. Moreover, the safe was not working and the soap dispenser was broken.
To our disappointment, the strong sewage smell was present in this room as well, which made us believe that this was a ‘hotel’ problem and not a single problematic room.
It should be noted that throughout our stay, the staff was very unwelcoming and super unhelpful.
They were very obvious when explaining the fines for losing the room key (1000 baht), or the towel card (200 for a piece of paper?!).
However, apparently trying to help their guests is beyond their job description.
Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel. There are plenty of places with similar location and price. Do not repeat our mistake.

The hotel is not good at all. Located at a prime location and that's the only good thing. The rooms are very basic lacking all the modern facilities expected in this price range. The staff is not welcoming at all, no professionalism and no etiquettes and behave like they don't care. The resort looks old and needs a proper renovation, there are no charging sockets near the bed, no light control in your range. Breakfast is okay, but if you ask for any additional thing, they will deny. Beach is crowded all the time, pool is very very small like in a private villa. I have stayed at different resorts of the same price range but will not recommend this one at all.

The accommodation at renovated room was beyond expectations. Beach, pool and the resort surroundings were totally clean. The staff members are very kind. The breakfasts were sufficient. There are many options for massage services (hotel SPA, beach). We felt very welcomed and would love to come back. We had the chance to meet the owners of the hotel resort and the encounter was very kind.
We wish a lot of satisfied customers.

The reception when checking in was very friendly and facing. The room was clean and modern. There was room service every day. You could put a piece of paper on the bed so that the bed sheets were not changed every day - I find it very good in the context of sustainability. Breakfast offers a good choice: Many foods are unkooled and not covered, so that insects are placed. In one day we went on a trip and needed a beach towel for it, 2 employees said we have to wait for the pool opening times, a 3. employee then gave us the towel. Although we were a guest in the low season, a late Check out (not even against payment) was possible. The resort is located in the airport entry lane, so it can be loud- we didn't bother us. The hotel is also close to the busy main street, but nothing was noticeable in the resort. The restaurant was very tasty - the price ratio is right here.

A very quiet hotel in the middle of busy Chaweng. The sea is also very good on this part of the beach, even though there are nicer beaches on Samui. To the left of the beach the beach is terrible, dirty beach, half-finished houses. Baan Chaweng Beach Resort has a reasonably good sea and a good beach and is an affordable hotel in busy Chaweng and you are in good hands here.

We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel. The resort grounds are a true tropical oasis, surrounded by palm and coconut trees, and located right on the best part of the beach.
The beach itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its turquoise waters and soft, powdery sand—perfect for relaxing or taking a dip. The rooms are spacious, with a comfy, firm bed and pillows that ensured a restful sleep each night.
The location is ideal, nestled on a lively street full of restaurants, massage parlors, and bars, but it’s so peaceful at night that we never heard a thing.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

The hotel was beautiful and in good location for those who like the chaweng area.
However, there was something major that was really disappointing for me when I am going to an hotel in a level like this. The shower was terrible, in a level that I can say that I couldn't really shower. In the beginning there were no hot water and after a little fix there were hot water but in a really low stream that you can't really shower.
I tried to talk with the receptionist 3 times. The first time they said they will fix it and didn't, the second time I called them from my room cold and dirty with the towel and they came to fix buy as I said they didn't really fix it. After that I came to the reception to tell them that it's still not working and that it's disappointing and they said they have nothing to do!! This is not something that I would expect from a hotel like this.
Another weird thing was that when we came to do check out, the receptionist forced us to write 5/5 review in front of her eyes and write the name of some of them in the review and she didn't really ask how was the experience for us. This stress wasn't comfortable for us.

Best place/resort/beach in Chaweng. Especially the beach is much more wider and nicer than the other areas at Chaweng. Enough sunbeds on the beach and pool for all guests! Friendly staff! Just the Ark Beach Club nearby is very loud until early morning. Approaching planes are ok, you get used to them… only 1-2 per hour between 07:30am until 09:30pm
