Centara Reserve Samui - SHA Plus

Stayed here for 7 nights early june. This place is absolutely fantastic and so relaxed. The property is stunning, interiors are great, I wanted to take photos everywhere because it is so beautiful. The staff was incredible, so helpful and kind and everything with a big smile. The rooms are beautiful and very comfy but on the smaller side, there’s no place for your suitcase etc. The in
Room cocktailbar looks cute but is useless, because you have no ingredients to make cocktails. The pool is fantastic,Chill vibes.
Most people are just there to chill and mind their own business, there were only a few kids. The area of the hotel is quite chaotic but this hotel is your private island of peace. Breakfast inside is very chaotic and loud, but outside is wonderful. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and we’ve visited quite some nice hotels in this price range. Only comment is the beach club a few hotels further, their insanely loud music really should be forbidden but it didn’t bother me too much.

I would definitely come back, we had an amazing stay.

Bought a day pass for the pool and beach loungers, well worth the spend! Includes towels and water. You can use the bahts for food and drinks at the beach bar - generous portions and delicious. Special thank you to Paul, who made this day possible for us and was extremely welcoming and attentive. Would love to stay at the resort next time we’re in Samui!

I initially visited this place in 2022 and was rather fond of it. I decided to return in 2024 and was pleased to witness substantial modifications that had further enhanced its appeal. This location offers convenient proximity to various amenities, while still providing a secluded ambiance reminiscent of a private island. The room is immaculate, generously sized, and offers a stunning outlook. There are three pools available. For breakfast, you have the choice to order from a menu or select from the buffet options. Breakfast is quite delicious as well.

We would like to thank all the staff, from the receptionists, restaurant staff to pool staff, they all have smile on their face every time when we see them and very nice and friendly which makes the whole experience even better!

Everything was exceptional! The location, close to everything, yet this place gives you the feeling of being on a private island. The first welcome was enough to make us feel right at ease and relaxed! The staff were super helpful and extremely friendly! The rooms are modern and beautifully designed. The food was extraordinary and breakfast was simply a feast! The gym was high-end and everything felt brand new and super clean! The attention to detail was incredible all around the resort. The direct access to the beautiful white sand beach was our favorite part!

+ Walkable to all amenities but still a haven of peace with a beautiful beach Excellent choice of global cuisines at breakfast Beautiful room - only tiny point to note would be that there is slightly limited storage space. Everything was possible, staff couldn’t do enough. Cold towels and iced water by the pool, daily surprises, ice and sliced lemon on demand ….
- Shame the adult pool closed for maintenance while we were there but these things are to be expected in low season

Beautiful area, clean beach, balcony overlooking the garden and the sea. Delicious breakfast, although the assortment has not changed much during the time we were there. Wonderful location, near restaurants, shops, near the Festival shopping center.

A hotel for a calm and measured stay. + The hotel staff works professionally. + The location of the hotel is quite convenient: 10-15 minutes walk from the bars (5 minutes by transport) + pharmacy (English-speaking specialist), currency exchange, sightseeing tours (discounts), everything can be found across the street from the hotel. + massage parlor Eden immediately from the main exit to the right (1-2 min walk). The prices are a little more expensive than elsewhere, but there is an older woman who does an amazing massage. You can bargain about the price (before the massage). + a coastal restaurant during the day you can lie and sunbathe, in the evening you can dine with a view of the sea (ocean) + entertainment for adults and children all day (every half hour / hour changes each other) animators work perfectly + a good pool + many sun loungers throughout the territory hotel and the beach (palm trees and trees create a natural shade, there are sun loungers, there are many umbrellas) + excellent, wide, clean sandy beach + a fairly gentle entrance to the sea, at the same time, the depth catches up quite quickly + in a room overlooking the ocean is stunning view; you can safely sunbathe on the balcony (chairs easily turn into sun loungers) + WiFi works perfectly throughout the hotel, including the beach + upon arrival you can join the "club" and get the following benefits: a full breakfast with a good European choice, constant snacks, soup on lunch, from 5 to 7 pm unlimited alcohol free of charge; as well as free laundry (2 items per day), which is very convenient. - wind side, waves, in February for 10 days there was never a calm, red flag all the time, do not swim - prices in restaurants (as well as spa) of the hotel are 2-3 times higher than in the city (in 3-7 minutes on foot from the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, massage parlors) - hotel visitors are mainly elderly people, over 50, there are couples with children who are not in the majority; accordingly, to take part in entertainment programs lard who are burning with desire - the furniture is not particularly new, but everything looks decent and pleases the eye - no stars will save you from cockroaches and mosquitoes in Thailand (note, they do not run in hordes there) - it was hard to fall asleep at night : if the windows are open, then it's stuffy, mosquitoes, the sound of the surf and music from the restaurant, if the windows are closed, then an eerie howl of the wind.
