The hotel is situated in the Northern part of the Bay of Chaweng. Small enough green and cozy territory. The beach strip is narrow, there are tides, near a coral reef. Entry into the water is sandy and shallow. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants where guests can taste dishes of different countries. Especially recommended for youth and undemanding family holiday.

Location: 4 km from airport, in the Eastern part of Samui island, in the Northern part of Chaweng Bay, 1 km from the centre of Chaweng beach, on the beach. .
Consists of four 4-storey buildings with ten 1-storey villas.
The hotel has 78 rooms.

Beach: public, sandy beach 20 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, chairs, towels – free of charge.

We stayed 5 nights here and enjoyed it. The staff, service and grounds are wonderful and professional. The included breakfast is quite good. Our only issue is that the hotel is a bit out of the way and walking to a nearby store for drinks or snacks is not really feasible. The views and sunsets are superb. If there was a 7/11 on the corner above the hotel, it would be fantastic and straight 5’s. Bring snacks!!

Had an incredible stay at Chaba Cabana. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, welcoming me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. The hotel's shallow waters were perfect for swimming, and I loved the added bonus of free surfboard and kayak for an amazing excitement. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure.

A charming classic beachside hotel at northern Chaweng, on the quieter end. Myself and companion had a really good stay. The room was clean, and I've always had good sleeps throughout the entire stay. The staff were consistently welcoming and attentive, which is always a nice touch. The other highlight is the lovely view of Chaweng beach, although this is the view taken in from the resort's beachfront restaurant. A wonderful choice for a relaxing seaside stay with great value.

I stayed at Chaba in July 2024 and had such a brilliant time! The room was lovely, staff were so friendly and I felt so relaxed! It’s so great that it has its own private beach and pool, feels very luxurious! As a vegetarian I was nervous coming to Thailand, but Chaba had plenty of vegetarian options and the food was great. I can’t wait to come back soon!

Staff were amazing rooms were clean and hotels is a bit far from the main strip very steep to walk, no problem on scooter only a few mins overall good value for money

Beautiful and clean resort , we had such a wonderful stay with my family before the wedding . Chaba cabana made us feel welcome when we arrived with drinks ,my favorite part is ordering food at the lovely bar with beach view. Thank you for the wonderful stay !

Lovely hotel! Location is perfect, and the hotel is located right on the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food there is also delicious and there’s lots to choose from. 10/10 would recommend!

The right location at Chaweng beach! The room is really good even the standard one, has a smart TV, spacious and balcony in every room.
The beach in front of the hotel is really gorgeous with clear water and no rocks. The pool area is also quite nice with a bunch of sunbeds.
Minus: Not exactly on the main crowds of Chaweng area but you got the basics like 7E, pharmacy, atm, dispensary and few restaurants nearby. Breakfast could have more variety.
Overall 8.5/10
The beach in front of the hotel is really gorgeous with clear water and no rocks. The pool area is also quite nice with a bunch of sunbeds.

This place was a complete disappointment. We were shocked.
The biggest issue was that when using the shower or sink about every minute the water would cut out and just drip. You would have to wait another minute for it to come back and do this over and over again.
The WiFi also does not work at all. They have multiple and none work.
They don’t let you know when renting a scooter that they give you them completely empty of gas and it’s on you to fill it up and figure out where.
There is a huge gap under the room door so it gets hot very quickly and bugs get in. You can’t leave the ac on when gone and it takes forever to cool the room back down.
The breakfast food that is out is cold and there are flies everywhere. It was gross. The omelette station is the only thing to eat.
The drinks are extremely over priced, not good and watered down. Go get a much better drink for 1/3 of the cost right up the street at the first restaurant.
The 2 paddle boards are both broken.
There are no quite hours and the walls are very thin so expect it to loud at all times.
The pool states it closes at 8pm but they will ask you to get out at 7:15.
The ocean water is green and pretty sure sewage from the street runs straight into it as all the streets around the hotel smell like it.
This place is a not a resort and it was a disappointment. Would not recommend.

Wife and I stayed here for two weeks. Our room was nice and clean and the staff throughout the resort were fantastic to deal with. Our stay included the buffet breakfast, which wasn’t large, but it still had lots of selection. There actually isn’t much of a beach because of the tide but you could walk out for quite a distance which was enjoyable. The pool is nice and deep and there is really only one area where you can swim as in the picture, the top portion is reserved for the two bungalows, and the other smaller area appears for kids. It is in a great location, off the busy strip, but just a taxi right away to many shops and restaurants. Even on our checkout, which was early this morning, the staff had take away breakfast bags for all the guests. I would actually describe it as a four star resort, but with the level of service and the price, I definitely give it a five star.
