Samui Verticolor

So you get what you pay for! Stayed here for a month whilst trying to reset mind and body. Staff were super friendly the entire time. They kept the rooms clean and tidy. Aircon was excellent. Pool was not too busy with loads of beds. This is a budget stay and excellent value for money. Not everything is perfect but the essentials are all there. Also location wise brilliant, launderette behind, supermarket right there, very short walk to Chaweng beach and loads of great food spots on the doorstep, short trip to some great gyms also! I give it maximum stars because it’s deserved, I can list the minor flaws but I dot feel that’s fair for the value.

While looking for a place to stay towards the end of my trip in Thailand options were running thin. Then came along verticolor a reasonably price hotel with what I expected but I didn’t expect the staff to go above and beyond for my anniversary needs!! No complaints for the price you pay staying at this hotel!

This is my favorite hotel and I spend almost every year there. It has pleasant and clean rooms that offer cleaning every day. There is a small gym and you can do a nice workout there. Unfortunately, it could look better with a little will from the staff and the management. There is no control for the air conditioner and it's quite hot in it. The breakfast is nice but things are always missing and filling takes time. The staff is smiling and wants to help. The pool is nice and the bar is nice. The food on the menu needs a change and also in taste. In general, a good location and a good atmosphere, and there is a supermarket in the back that is open non-stop. Unfortunately in the past it was painted in different colors and for some reason they painted it a boring color. I choose it because of a relatively affordable price and it has what a person who comes to vacation needs. I've read a few criticisms here and there and the management always says thank you and yes we will and we will change the problems but it only looks good on the page and it's a shame criticism is not always a bad thing.

We spent a comfortable 4 days here. Breakfast buffet was good but little variation. Rooms a nice size. WiFi was erratic but be patient. A smallish gym but good for a workout. Nice large pool but water gets too warm.
The road towards the beach is grubby but only 10 minutes walk. Many bars, restaurants, shops nearby. A 24-hour supermarket across the road at the back. Good value hotel.

Very good quality for the price. Staff is very kind and helpful, and the room was very clean. Make sure you bring some earplugs as the airco can be noisy. Further the pool was great and the location is fine. Would stay here again for sure!

Good location set back from Chaweng Beach Road. 15 minute walk to the beach.
Spacious room with a window seat and small balcony. Pleasant view. Comfortable bed. Poor wi-fi, could not connect any of our devices.
Good breakfast.
Great pool with plenty of sun loungers and a bar.
Good staff.
Car park fills up every night, mainly with tour vans.
Convenience store outside the back gate.

Party people hotel
We’re a couple of travelers that wanted to explore the island in peace , the hotel is located in the very busy area and it attracts mostly young adults looking to party.. so for people like us in our late 20s it was annoying!!!
The room itself was beautiful and clean with a great shower!
The staff were nice and the pool looked great but we didn’t used it (crowded)

This hotel is great value. It’s in a good location in Chaweng, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. There are thai boxing stadiums, nightlife venues, food nightmarkets, all within easy reach of this hotel, and the beach is a ten minute walk. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Nice big bed, good shower and the bigger rooms have balconies. Breakfast is good, and they have a very pretty pool with a bar outside. Motorbikes can be rented, and staff are helpful. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel, good location, good swimming pool. The rooms are OK and could be improved but the overall experience is more than positive. It was my second time there.
