Rooms are bad. The bathtub faucet didn't work, there was mold on every caulk of the bathroom, there was at least 20 termites in our room. They are innofencive but creepy nonetheless. The rest is very old and has wear & tear.
Can't say anything good or bad for the service except that when asked to book a taxi for the ferry for the next morning at 6am (which at least 8 other guests were doing for this day), they just gave me the number of the taxi company instead of booking for me, which is generally the case in an hotel.
Overall, for 45$ that's ok-ish but wouldn't pay more and would not go back.
It rained each day (not the hotel's fault of course) but the option of Netflix or similar on the TV would have been good - seems quite common in many hotels these days.
Staff very friendly with warm welcome.
Reception, swimming pool and the room common areas are amazing. We had breakfast early in the morning, the choice was quiet various. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were amazing. The keep making us feel very welcomed.
The gulf course is under renovation but we we aware. The massage parlour was shut also for a renovation. There is nothing near the hotel except a few restaurants (Lui restaurant is very good) and a 7/11 nearby, you'd better be motorized.
All in all, we would come back for the pool area ,hoping that the renovation will finish soon. I'm sure this could be a really nice hotel.
