10 steps from the beautiful and calm beach. Very quiet place. Room was decent with basic furnishings.

Just stayed for 3 nights. A wonderful location, great people working there and quiet if you don't mind a rooster mandatory wakeup call. Highly recommended. Will return!

Consistently good in an ‘exceptional location’. DONT FORGET YOU ARE ON A REMOTE ISLAND. Don’t complain about the state of the gardens or the noise of the generator. The mosquitoes and their relatives are here because you’re not in a sanitized all- inclusive resort! Bring bug spray and dress accordingly! The resort is well maintained for the location and the POOL is a real luxury. Don’t forget there...

We stayed in Phayam Cottage Resort for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The Bungalows are clean and new, the pool area is very nice especially when it's low tide and the beach is just amazingly white with turquoise water. The breakfast was good, Thai food is the better choice than the American breakfast ;) It's a nice choice to stay at Buffalo Bay, not the cheapest, but a good one :)

Must visit when in Thailand. This is an amazing resort with awesome staffs. Me and 5 other friends stayed in R10, R11 and R12 which are on the Lagoon side. It has an amazing view and I can kayak past our room. The tide will come up around 2-4 pm and you can see all the fishes, crabs and many other species. Mr.Knight make fantastic coffee and Thai teas. He is very skilled and a treasure of this...

Everything is great. Especially the service here is world class. The term leader, her name is Aom. She is the best.

Resort is open to beach and embedded in small mangrove forest. Enjoy the view, services and food there. Love to be back here again.

Food could be more interesting. Dinner authentic Thai restaurants are better. Western part of breakfast could also be better. For example the coffee, and juice. The fried egg mixed with meat and herbs was good

Visited the cafe, most snacks and desserts were out of orders. We ordered fries (came with only ketchup), ice cream sundaes (basically 2 slaps of melty ice cream, and watermelon juice. Expected the quality to be much more for the 4 stars resort but oh well. All prices excluding 7% VAT and 10% service charges. Staffs were nice tho

Almost perfect ! But - The beach in front of the hotel is not the best spot to go swimming, it is too close to the pier which has so many boats which is loud and dangerous (3/5) - The air conditioning unit does not have the power to cool the room in good time, my room took almost 2 hrs to reach 26 degree c (2/5) - The water rise is not certain, you have to come when the lunar calender said the water...

We were there 2 years ago. The owner is very nice and helpful. he was so nice and organized the return trip for us. Also very suitable for families with children. The bungalows are simple but nice and clean. The bungalow was cleaned every day. If we go back to Thailand we will definitely stay in the Rabit Bungalow again. We can only recommend it

Very beautiful and quiet place in the middle of the jungle. The whole crew is very friendly and help always. The restaurant is very good and have the best curry on the island (paneng). Thanks for staying here.

We've already stayed three times at Rabbit Bungalow and highly recommend this place. Lek, the owner, is very kind, cares a lot about his guests, is always present and helps you with whatever question/issue. The bungalows are cozy and all come with a little terrace including a hammock, which is great to hang out. The mosquito net is really good too compared to many other places (it's square shaped)...

We stayed for 5 nights and loved it! Very clean and neat bungalow, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful garden where you can have delicious coffee in the morning and watch wildlife, especially birds. Would visit again!

This place is absolutely beautiful! I stayed in a bungalow at the lake. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom very big. You have a lot of privacy and a nice view of the garden and the lake. the staff helped me with everything and the place was clean. you can walk to the beach, but also rent a scooter just around the corner of rabbit.

We did not stay at the bungalow but we have eaten there quite a lot the food is delicious and authentic the owner Lek is lovely and welcoming Noong the chef is very good. It feels like you are eating with very good friends. The bungalows are in a garden setting have a yoga pavilion overlooking a lake. Can highly recommend this establishment. Can also get Thai cooking classes there with the chef.

Art and his staff provide a warm welcome and do what they can to make everyone feel included and looked after. Second time here and definitely not the last! Thank you Little Hut ☺️

Little Hut is a brilliant place. Everyone is so caring and hospitable, the beds are super comfi, everything is clean and the place has a great laid back and welcoming energy.

Great accommodation close to the beach. friendly staff (don't expect to be serve a breakfast before 9:30am though ...) a bit pricy for the end of the season. clean room would recommend.

Decent bungalows at a reasonable price, we paid 675 baht in April, around this time most places are 500 but we were happy to pay a bit more for what we got. The bungalows were a good size and the beds were spacious. Each room came with a mosquito net, a standing fan, a little porch with two chairs and a private outdoor bathroom. Expect to experience nature, but you already know that if you're heading...

We stayed here for 3 nights and just loved it. It's located directly next to the beach, in walking distance to the main restaurant and shopping area and we just enjoyed every second here. The staff is really friendly, there's breakfast for 80 baht including eggs, bottomless tea/coffee and toast. Our room and all the other small huts are cozy, clean and the outdoor bathrooms are amazing

it was nice comfortable and had way better bathrooms then any beachfront place, for double the price. and the short 3 min walk to the beach is made up by the boat bar.

I stayed in aircondition room on the 2nd floor . nice room , nice food , nice beach .... if you want to travel all over the island , you need to rent a motorcycle ...

Great place to stay but on the other side of the island. Try to organize a ride. There are motorcycle taxi drivers that can take you there for around 80 baht

Is there something like a home away from home? Why of course and its called Chomjan Beach Resort. The Bungalows are super nice, especially because there are bigger ones if you travel with kids. The food is super tasty. The beach is also very pretty. But most important the hospitality of the family running the place goes above and beyond the usual. I'm coming back! 🥰

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. We had a great stay. Clear water and clean area. The room was clean and comfortable. Fittings are not top-notch but everything works. The staff was friendly and took good care of us.

Beach front rooms, very beautiful view, clean enough. Food leaves late because there is one person. The staff are very hospitable, the sea is very clear. Can accompany animals. The sea is very natural.Love Love

Location is very good, nice beach, paved road for motorcycles, hornbills feeding in the morning around 7-7:30 am. Friendly staff, clean bedsheets Area for improvement: hot water in the shower was not working, they tried to fix but can't. AirCon, curtains and table cloth are dirty. Blanket for double bed is single size Restaurant tastes so so. There is flower power restaurant nearby that one was better

We had such a wonderful time at chomjan ! Even we had the lowest rate bungalow we have nothing to decline! We asked for a mosquito net -we got one, we needed help with the toilet -we got help. The stuff was to anytime so lovely! The private beach area is insane and the restaurant is super good ! As you can hear I’m in love! The island is beautiful and the people also! Stone bungalows. Too warm, they would need an Aircon. Couldnt sleep. It is warmer inside then outside. Bathroom worne down. I give three Stars because the Burmese manager and his wife are superfriendly and kind. The food is the best food I have eaten in Thailand ever. Everything is fantastic about this place. I stayed in a deluxe aircondition bungalow with hotwater in the shower. The bed was comfortable and it was a Nice sleep every night. The wifi was fast enough. The staff was wonderful Gop made so good food. The taste of Everything is amazing. Rob The Aussie gentleman is so friendly and such a interesting person with alot of life experience, so Nice to chat with...

Lovely place and people. They make tasty food, the rooms are nice and you have a great location on the beach. The frogs will serenad you to sleep at night.

Loved the hotel! Such a great view on the beach, breakfast was Okey .. not much options available. lovely staff! Rooms where simple but clean! Would definitely come back here when we come back to Koh Phayam

View and ambience are pleasant. Room price is slightly high for the quality though; it’s quite dark and bathroom is not nice. Food there is gooddddd, service is also good.

Nice room and good environment ! Providing drinking water two bottles everyday. Near by the pier and the beach, really convenient :) The bed was so comfortable that I slept so well.

We had a great time at Nitiporn Resort in January 2016. The rooms are clean & spacious. The bathrooms are very nice too. The grounds & beach are very well maintained. The manager, Thon, was a very nice lady and she takes care of you. The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 was our 2nd room didn't have as comfortable a bed as our first room.we spent 7 days there and had a great time.

The location is really great in the middle of a beautiful long beach and walking distance to several great small bars and restaurants. The staff especially Eto and his sister were excellent and helpful in arranging everything from a Tuktuk to booking massages.

One of the best places to stay at in Phayam. Nice ambiance, great food, bruschetta and club sandwich are a MUST TRY! and only a step away from surf heaven ❤️

Excellent resort and restaurant. I was able to surf here too. Seek out local Australian surfer Mitch on Aow Yai beach. Mitch has boards for rent and sells epic "phayam" ganja that he grows in the jungle himself. Pristine Island with great thai people here.

Great Italian​ and Thai food served on a fabulous large deck overlooking the beach. Very calm and relaxing, sofas with soft cushions, also has a pool table.

Absolutely Charming.......the owner and daughter were just Lovely.... The staff (spoke great English) were excellent as was the food and drinks. What an amazing place...This is how Thailand was 25 years ago. Great huts right on a beautiful beach. Plenty of options for food and drinks along the beach. The food at friends is absolutely fabulous. The Chef makes incredibly tasty food and the Burmese options are a nice addition to the usual menus. Definately one of the best places on this beach.

Stopped by for dinner on recommendation from an island local and we were not disappointed. Great Kao Soi (I didn't know it was a popular Burmese dish?) and a decent pizza for a local restaurant. Of course the spectacular sunset made everything just that little bit more special but still, we recommend you give them a try if you're on Ao Yai.

Lovely location, right on the beach.we stayed in a wooden bungalow, basic but clean, good open bathroom.nice staff and owner, great food all tho a bit pricey.downside no soap or shampoo provided,and you have to ask for change of towel's or sheets

Really nice place with friendly staff and owner. The food is one of the best on the island, and the beach view is amazing!

Never stayed here but when i visit the island i always pay a visit for the best pizza (by far) on the island, with great staff and excellent service.

Like Paradise, really quite chilled place in the middle of nowhere. The owner is awesome, super friendly and helps with every question. Looking forward to being back.

Would I book again! Were there 7 nights, the only thing to complain about is that the bed was already worn out. Landlord very friendly and always there when you need him, otherwise not. Perfect.

A nice place for having a quiet relaxing place in the middle of the island. Comfortable bamboo huts with a huge kingsize bad. However, the matrac might be too soft for some people. To get to the beach, you need a scooter to rent. This is available at many point of the island.

I had a lovely lunch by the sea . First time I had homemade chips ! Yummy ! Even if the food arrived hours later, the staff warned me that it was going to be long ! Everything was delicious ! I definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch and a kayak session in the mangroves !

Best location on the most beautiful beach in the island. The restaurant is delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Due to covid I stayed here for 3 months, and felt very safe. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. Thank you Vijit!

Situated in the most stunning location, beautiful sandy beach and green shallow ocean. Stayed 3 nights in a budget bungalow which served its purpose very well. All bungalows have their own bathrooms with cold showers. Staff very friendly, food excellent and prices very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chill out.

Beautiful bungalow accommodation, we stayed right on the beach, you can see the sea from your bed :) The bungalows are all newly refurbished, and have hot showers (quite rare in Koh Phayam!) The staff were all really nice, we had chilled drinks on arrival and a meet and greet by very cute dogs! If you are looking for somewhere to really relax this has it all.

Very beautyful and quiet place. Maybe a 15 minute walk from the pier away, but definitly worth it. They have a great kitchen and a own bakery for bread and super delicious cakes. Thank you for the great time!

Our holiday there was paradise. The staff was really friendly, the pool was absolutely beautiful and the breakfast menu was amazing. We woke up to the sound of the ocean and it was pure bliss.

Paul is the most knowledgeable and hospitable foreign host on Phayam. His Thai wife Pearl is great too. Awesome spot if you want to be on "the other side".

Lovely quiet bungalows on the beach and a 5’ ride from the pier. Paul and Pearl are great hosts and communicators. They instantly make you feel at home. Bungalows are clean and nicely decorated. They offer scooter rentals to get around the island as well as a fresh homemade breakfast with vegan and healthy options. Highly recommend this stay!

Stayed here in Low season. Very peaceful and tranquil. Great food. Cold showers. Have motor bike rental. Friendly staff and lovely location, although it is a distance from the main boat drop off jetty. No wifi at time of stay. Had to travel to Bluesky Resort and buy lunch to use wifi there.
