The island is great. The water is crystal clear. The beach is quiet and large. My 1.5 year old daughter love it. The hotel is somewhat expensive compared to what you paid. We stayed at the resort for 2 nights, the rooms are pretty basic but manageable. Complimentary breakfast was good : cut fruits, deli meat, fried rice etc. They provide kayak and snorkeling equipment free of cost and the reef is absolutely amazing. Great quiet bungalows with AC. Our AC broke the first night they gave us another room for the night and $500 voucher for food. They helped us to book a boat tour to Koh Muk for the day. Best food ever, I must say it is the best restaurant I tried in Thailand! Not only the food is outstanding, the staff is so welcoming. We stopped here for the restaurant on our way back from the sunset and we discovered a place owned by an italian guy, very friendly and welkoming. The place is located in the middle of the island and that allows you to reach easly more quiete and less crowded beaches. Bungalows and restaurant are very well camouflaged in the jungle, but still clean and well made. Restaurant serves thai and italian food, so you also have different choices. Basic bamboo bungalows. But okay to stay for a few nights. Good food in the reastaurant and one of the most beautiful beaches directly in front of your bungalow. If you don't mind a camping like feeling with a great beach it's a decent place. If you need more comfort, look for something else (which will cost you a lot more).

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely experience. Kalume is situated right at the beach so you have direct access to the sea and can even admire the view from your bungalow. Fantastic location and cleanliness. One of the highlights of my stay is the Thai massage with Tina. She is super friendly and shared a recommendation for a travel plan. The pizza at the resort is the best pizza in our life. Their pizza can even beat the one we had in Naples. Highly recommended resort for your relaxing holidays.

Very nice and unique view from the balcony! We stayed one night and felt like the bungalow is overpriced. Inside is spacious but doesn’t have more luxury compared to accommodations that are 20,- cheaper. We stayed at different (cheaper) accommodations as well and spend some nights at the beach bar downstairs which would give you the same vibe as staying in Koyao. We stayed in one of their fan bungalows with only cold water but at 800 baht / night incl. breakfast in high season we thought it was a fair price. Good location only a few hundred meters from Charley beach and very kind staff. We would go back if we return to Koh Muk.

If you decide to stay here you must realise that it will be an experience . The bungalow isn't fully sealed so you may have visitors in the forms of scorpions, hornets, cockroaches, and cats in your bungalow. Thankfully we didn't have any snakes! Lovely family running the resort. They’re willing to make extra efforts for guests and do motorcycle shuttle to the beach. Their breakfast portion is generous and you will be very full. We extended our stay and recommend it highly.

It’s difficult to objectively assess this place. It’s basically really poor - the garden is non existent, trash in the alleys, poor breakfast options (when little guests you can choose from menu, little portions and not so tasty), it’s at the beach but you can’t swim there aeven if the tide is high. Great location near the village center but not too noisy. Beds were NOT hard like most places. Good sleep with a lovely garden in the morning to watch hornbills if you're lucky. Nice bungalow with seats outside. Free coffee. Free bicycle was offered to cycle to the beach, but best is to walk to a secluded beach Ao Lo Dang, and / or hike to Sabai beach and spot monkeys along the way.

great budget bungalows! good value (we paid 1000 thb/night incl ac in march 2020), perfect location (close to bars & restaurants, 10 min walk to sivalai beach). the room was clean and had all you need - ac, fan, fridge, big bathroom with hot water, free coffee, wifi etc.. and there was a pretty garden & friendly staff! looks a lot better than in their own pictures!

This is the second hotel I've been to in ko mook and it's by far, better than the other one. Very nice, bright and clean bungalows facing the garden. We wished we stayed there longer. Very polite owners, they arranged the boat and the transportation to the pier for us. Highly recommended

Coco Lodge bamboo huts are a great experience! A fantastic and very well planned design of the huts and very practical. Nice and welcoming service. The only downside is an open air club nearby that plays very loud music late into.the night so you may have difficulties sleeping depending on your sensitivity and the location of the particular hut. One of the best accommodation what we had in Thailand. Unfortunately it’s not on the beach but it’s only 300m walk around the see. They have also the bar nearby the see and with probably only one really coffee on the island. 😁 They organize trips for snorkeling and it was the best trip in Thailand. NO tourist trap.

Good clean value for money bamboo huts in good situation. Ten minutes stroll to swimming beach and close to village which has lots of facilities, services and local restaurants. Don't miss the lovely beachside bar in front of Coco Lodge made of old boats and driftwood run by lovely people.

The Perfect Place Honestly, I didn't expect Coco Lodge to be so... perfect. The owners are truly amazing. I was sad to leave. The bamboo huts are just picture perfect and so comfy. I loved sitting on the balcony at night and just taking it all in. This is the kind of place you never want to leave. I'm already planning my trip back to Koh Mook and Coco Lodge.

We were turned down from by our taxi from airport, Kritt organized sending car pick up right away in short notice. We arrived by late evening, really felt so comfy the first minute arriving at Mook Montra.  Everything was just purely great !! Really loves this place, loves Koh Mook !!

We loved our stay at Mook Montra. The bungalows are very nice and clean, hot water and air con always available and the terace hammock is perfect for reading and relaxing. Also, hot water, tea and coffee at reception. Kritt is a great host, helpfull and nice. The proximity to the city center and the pier is also a plus. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Montra Resort. The bungalow was lovely and bathrooms are very spacious. The hammocks outside were a perfect way to unwind in a beautiful setting. The most relaxing sleep ever. Waves lapping on the white sand, coconut trees swaying in the breeze. Far from the traffic and hustle of city life.

Really good for being a three star hotel. A lot of space and new furniture. Directly on the beach but when the tide is low it's better to walk a couple of hundred meters to the east. We highly recommends this hotel!

Fantastic accommodation right next to the sea in beautiful Koh Mook. An easy walk to the pier but so quiet and a wonderful local vibe. Manager was so helpful and insisted on taking me to the ferry on her scooter! Room has everything you could need and a beautiful terrace looking out onto the water with direct access to the beach. Couldn't ask for more, amazing value for money. Highly recommended

One of the most amazing spots! Rooms are small and cosy and very clean. The veranda is right on the beachfront with a beautiful sound to fall asleep to. Yuat and Niki are the kindest persons you can imagine and do everything for you. We had such a wonderful time together with them and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We were very sad to leave but are very happy to have made new friends along our journey...

The other reviews are correct. Real Thai hospitality, very kind owners and management that looked after our every need and more.
