PLAAI Prime Hotel Rayong, Formerly D Varee Diva Central Rayong

A nice modern room with comfortable bed, bath and separate rain shower. Japanese automatic toilet. Smart TV. Balcony is small and not functional except for a smoker but it does have a dryer to hang washing. The room has an ironing board and iron. Useful addition.

Breakfast was disappointing when compared to the standard of room and rather a mixed affair. Breakfast finishes at 10.00 but on our arrival at 09.25 along with a number of other guests (farang) selection was limited. What was available was just ok. The fried eggs had been cooked some time earlier and were therefore cold. No thought of cooking fresh rather than wasting some 15 eggs even though there was an egg station? Next morning arrived at 08.20 and offered a wider selection but eggs again cold. This needs attention especially relating to a weekend stay when waking late should be expected?

We would stay again but exclude breakfast since Passion mall is only a few minutes walk and offers a large range of street food and restaurants.

They change toilet seat and TV to smart tv, but most of the things are in need for renovation.
However staff are friendly.

I spent nights here countlessly for the past 3 yrs, normally I would give 5 that why I kept coming back for business trips. Today, I give 3.

Food quality drops. And, this is the first time I asked for a shower room after checked out. Surprisingly, no facility for shower room for this big hotel!? Most hotels offer gym / pool shower rooms, some even offer hotel room itself.

If you come for business trip in industrial area, and need a shower before departure, this is not the place. Reception said they dont have..
