PLAAI Prime Hotel, Formerly D Varee Diva Central

I had an deluxe room which was well intentioned, which was good. But the design and need for repair stopped it being excellent. It was good to have a pool view, rather than look to the busy road. The bed and desk area were comfortable, but a little cramped. This is because the bathroom and toilet are separate, which takes up more room. Otherwise all the facilities were there there such as safety box, ironing board, gowns, slippers, hairdryer, kettle etc. The stuff you don't see in modern ergonomically designed rooms. Modern TV and own router in the room provided good entertainment and Wi-Fi. The bathroom had an actual bath and you could slide the divided panel to one side to watch TV from the tub if you wanted. The main 'feature' I liked however, was the American Dream Toilet, with full bidet functionality. I spent an awful lot longer in there than I should have done!

On the down side, the room is showing it's age and doors, sliding panels, countertops etc were getting very worn and creaky.

Location - wise you on a main road, but that's not noticeable from the back. You are also within walking distance from a good shopping mall with food court. There is also a night market - on the other side of the busy road.

The swimming pool is good and clean. The gym is small but adequate.

I didn't try the small restaurant, but it looked Ok. Prices were mid-range. There was no room service on the evening I wanted it.

Overall it was good value for money. I had stayed there before, I enjoyed this stay and, I will stay there again.

Such a great stay! The hotel is modern, the room is spacious with a super comfy bed, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended ka!

Their hospitality at Plaai Prime was beyond exceptional. The staff put full attention to our requests. They responded to it very promptly and quickly. Well done to the hotel management. Also the cleanliness of the room was spotless. The swimming pool was nice and clean. Not a lot of people using the pool though.
We also liked the hotel bar, food was good. Ambience was 10/10, not a big space but comfortable enough to sit down for drinks and relax.

The only downside I found which can be easily fixed was the cold breakfast. It might need some changes in the way you manage the food.

Other than that, we were very happy that we chose to stay at Plaai prime. We will definitely come back when we have a chance.

Great location, OK-ish breakfast, OK-ish hospitality. The room I stayed in was satisfactory. Overall it's a bit of an in-between decent and very good, probably better suited for business travelers than leisure.

I had a pool facing room with a balcony but I'm not really sure it's a good place to chill if I had more chill time. Did not try the pool. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with great shower pressure and hot water though surprisingly for a 4-star hotel toothbrush and toothpaste were not made available but instead had to be requested.

Something specific to pick on: I like the Japanese inspired toilet but it wasn't a Japanese brand and some of the buttons were frustratingly not functional during my stay so I had to use the common bathroom at some point.

Rooms great , comfy bed and nice pillows and cool toilet 💺!

Breakfast is not great , and cold 🥶 , nothing is replenished , I asked lady for pancakes she said no more and croissants 🥐 hard , told staff were not interested!

cleaners knocking on door every morning to clean room (not good) , should have sign for door, and swimming pool is dirty and gets zero sun ☀️! Swimming pool needs a good clean 🧽!

Front desk are really good, very nice lady's 10/10. We had breakfast included but advised front desk that we don't want it after 2 days of cold breakfast! Everything should be fresh and not sat there from 6:00am! (Being honest).

Good location IMO 6 mins by scooter to beach 🏝️ and shopping centre next door!

Over all 8/10! PS night security guard is very good and very respectful 10/10!

SOME ISSUES & IMPROVEMENT AREAS

1. Balcony size is amazing but no table. have chairs and clothes rack which is good. Need small table

2. Gym is small and ok but not clean. glass had dirty stains. hair inside the gym on ground. walls had stains. dead insects lying around. seems no one use so no one clean. I used it. one paint work and deep cleaning will make it look good

3. Pool area is nice but not clean. pool shower area dirty

4. In room bath area, head Shower is blocked and need to change to new shower head. these are small costs but good for a nice hotel like this

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It has 5-star amenities like a Japanese-style toilet, large bath tub and a super-comfy bed for a really fair price. We were fully satisfied with our stay and will be back next time we're in Rayong.
