Where to stay in Rayong City

Mature independent backpackers who do not usually stay in an "upmarket" hotel. This hotel is a rare exception. 1200 baht with breakfast. 5 star without the 5 star price. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights. The staff were amazing. Friendly warm helpful. Cannot speak too highly of them. This is the best hotel in all of Rayong. Not even the new Novotel can beat it. The location is exceptional and the breakfast buffet is exceptional and offers varieties for all nationalities and tastes. We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff f were the most helpful we experienced in Thailand (and all Thai people are helpful ) . They booked us a scooter , dropped us at the bus station and directed us to a nearby (cheaper) laundrette . The rooms were large , clean and extremely comfortable (amazingly comfy bed with memory foam ) . They offer pool, gym and even gym classes several times a day...

Room is big but restroom bath tub and wash basins are yellowish, not clean and look like it used to be in hotels. Also room does not has smart tv so there is nothing for entertainment in the room. Further the corridor has smell like there is lack of ventilation and free air flow.

Fabulous hotel, amazing amounts of space, rooms too. Pillows are hard no good for my arthritis of neck. Aircon good, quiet. Rooms quiet. Gym huge, a lot of old weights not kilos, a number of treadmills not working, but many machines to use. Excellent hotel offering great value. Superb staff as well. Large comfortable rooms with good wi-fi. No sit down restaurant but good room service and breakfast buffet. Western food very limited though. Really my only complaint, but there are quite a few restaurants very close by. Great location! Grab service very in the area. Definitely recommend!!

Amazing value for money! The location is good as there is a gym, bizaare, food market and 711 right next to the property. The rooms are spacious and the bed is ginormous! The rooms are clean. Toiletries are supplied. Air con. Balcony. TV and fridge. Super cheap and nice place to stay.

Stayed a week or so. It is decent: quite clean and spacious for 2 ppl. Though at night it is noisy bc of the road. There was no hot water (the heater, seems, was broken), somehow one chair only in the room for 2 (though table is actually for one, but anyway. I stayed 6 night at the 1623 room (Not the highway side) . Very great mattress and room size with a decent size fridge where we stored food. The staff is for me the biggest asset of this hotel. Friendly, helpful and super professionnal. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. You can leave your bag at the hotel if you plan a trip somewhere else and come back to sleep at the hotel. Nice room: clean with a balcony facing a busy street. Excellent location: next to a HUGE fruit market, with two 7-11 a block or two away. The near-by night market is forgettable; better to shop at Lotus next to the night market.

This hotel is Value for Money, Good Location and suitable for group, family and friends. Hotel has 2 building, Wing A is old building while Wing B is new. Rooms are so big, good beds. Staffs service very good and closely take care all my requested. Breakfast quite good with a lot of choice.

Good attentive staff with very helpful charming characters and very organised seminars will be held in this location. Good commuting distance to the local area with a good discount rate for the first time visitor which be able to use a nice swimming pool for adults and children as well as gym and expanding 2 more new buildings connected to. .

For 800 baht it's really worth it. over that you have better options. Overall it's clean and spacious and well located. They have a free shuttle from 2pm to 6pm for and from passion mall, give 20 bath to the driver as he is cool and don't expect it.

The room is quite big and suitable for family trip. Parking area is large and easy for every building. Halal food options are not various but acceptable. Swimming pool and gym are well prepared to relax and join activities at the venue. The location itself is not to far from tourist attractions in Rayong, local markets, and so on. The staffs are friendly and welcoming to visitors.

Most people staying here are in Rayong for business, few for leisure. That being said, the pool usually has free seats, always room in the buffet hall, and the bar/restaurant at the top floor always has space. Service is wonderful, many English speakers so navigating is doable. Food is always good, view is immaculate. Located right next door to a mall with a Starbucks and many food options.

Restaurant 30. floor. Sunday "buffet". Only small salad and dessert buffet. Pizza or pasta include price. Havaiji pizza was one of the best ever eat. Big shrimps was good, too. Prices high. 555 bath. Sleek, new, modern high-rise towers over the surrounding ocean peninsula. Spacious luxury suites with amazing views, superb staff, good breakfast, great happy hour service. So comfortable and quiet! Kudos to IHG for building the nicest IHG property I've ever stayed in.

Big place. Clean rooms, bit small (no chair ?) Secure parking. Lovely looking pool but we were only there a night so didn't get to try it. Only met the staff to check in and out, they were great, but can't really comment on service overall as we weren't there long enough. Not much around in the way of bars and restaurants.

The rooms are clean. The service is professional but not really friendly, but they get the job done. The location is a bit far from anything, but there are some local places to eat nearby. Best have your own car.

Room comfortable but you can hear all noises in corridor including a tour bus load of people being woken up by their Chinese guide using a loudhailer. This hotel is absolutely amazing. It has 5-star amenities like a Japanese-style toilet, large bath tub and a super-comfy bed for a really fair price. We were fully satisfied with our stay and will be back next time we're in Rayong.

Biggest letdown was swimming pool, so small, area 3mx6m only, difficult to walk out of, no steps, so small cannot swim!!! The hotel is only Two & a half years old & is wonderfully clean & comfortable. The Large King size bed & bedding is up there with the best hotels; regardless of price. Hotel was renovated few years ago. I still prefer the old building compared to the new one. Breakfast is nothing great and you will not regret if you missed it. Its more of a business hotel dan leisure.

Location: The school is easy to find, just a few kilometers from the beach. Doing so is close to seven restaurants around Mae Phim Beach, very convenient. The school has a private beach. You can go down from the school, it is very close. can definitely play in the water (Go down to play) at a time when the waves are not very strong. this is new hotel located along the beach. Hotel decoration is unique with Thai traditional story. ALMOST peaceful, but staff allowed a couple to play guitar at the beachfront seating where others would preferred to relax quietly with the sound of nature. As the hotel claimed to be a Vitality 5-stars, the restful and relaxing atmosphere for guests must be taken as priority. However, the overall is good.

Nice budget hotel. King size bed and good bathroom. Split area for shower and toilet but beware of shower stream which will be too hot for the first try, need to get familiar with hot water adjustment.

Very clean and friendly Business Hotel. Beautiful rooms, perfect size and bathroom very well. All you need to stay for 1-3 days here in Rayong. Some good restaurants nearby in walking distance. To the beach you need a Taxi. Breakfast buffet is included and taste very well. Aircondition works well and with reasonable noise. Not so loud as in some other hotels. If you choose you will not be disappointed

Nice clean rooms, buffet breakfast was also very nice. Big improvement over the cold eggs and hot dogs the other reorts in the area serve. Also has a small gym with some free weights and a couple machines. Highly recommended.. :)

Nice hotel with a very friendly stuff. It is very close to the seaside. The rooms are big enough for a long stay. They have a very good Italian kitchen. The food is very delicious. You can find here everything you need. I enjoyed the stay very much.

Quiet old hotel. Not well maintenance for the room. But, the 3 star give it for the well service mind of staffs and a wide range of foods in the morning.

Had to stop here the night before my interview. Great staff made my night. They helped me book a taxi (which is not easy that barren area) and even lent me one of their staff members belt for my interview since I had forgotten mine. Rooms were clean. However, pillows are way too big so find a solution for that before you head off to sleep. Overall great experience.
