Hop Inn Surat Thani

Hop Inn is almost always packed with visitors. Every branches have the same standard, but this branch is distinguish because they also provide you a 'breakfast' , not just coffee from coffee maker but a breakfast; congee, toasted bread, sausages.

I had breakfast there, it is very tasty and a nice cool sitting area.

Simple straightforward rooms. Please don’t expect anything extra. But rooms were clean.

Stayed here January 2023 and it was quite good.

I found the check in ….interesting. Very structured, requiring ID much more than I am used to in a Thai hotel. Everything was smooth and efficient, everything worked real well other than that so kudos to the staff.

Pro comments - very clean, everything neat and it had an elevator which with my knees I need. The bed was SOFT.....unlike so many Thai hotels, the mattress was actually soft. The included breakfast was simple and quite acceptable Thai food but not what a farung might be used to.

Cons - slightly off a main road with a tiny narrow road to get to it but that is normal in Thailand. It is not backpacker friendly for its location. One other nitpick con, the hotel was very simple in decor, and the hallways and rooms reminded me of dormitories. That is not a bad thing just a comment.

Overall, I will say great reasonable priced basic hotel - small fridge but no extras like in room coffee, iron etc but I definitely recommend it.

Cheap and very clean rooms. All that you need. Just the view is not so nice of surrounding neighborhood. Plenty of parking space for those who drives

Good Internet, quiet location, comfortable bed, free breakfast.
The location is out of downtown so good for driving in and out but not good for anyone without a vehicle or wanting to explore the older parts of the city.
There is a family mart convenience store and some local restaurants on the small road leading into the hotel.
Breakfast is two eggs, sausage & rice soup. There's also bread, a toaster and a coffee machine.
