AM Surin Place - SHA Extra Plus

We had a dissapointing experience. the location was boring nothing around to see or do the beach is 10 minutes walk. No hot water in the hot tub or in either showers we had in the room (penthouse suit). Even after we complained we waited 2 hours for the fix and eventually the water was still cold. We asked for a refund and the guy in the reception misleaded us to think we will get a big disscount which we agreed to and afterwards the manager used it against us and gave us only 20 percent disscount on an overpriced room to begin with. I would not reccomend this hotel.

Horrible experience, stealing staff and bedbugs everywhere. They stole my presents and money from room. While I was taking shower they entered and stole it. When I found out that, all staff start laughing and talking arrogantly with us. They were arguing with us. I am so sure that before I go to take shower all stolen by them things was in my room.Please be aware of this place. Never again and will never recommend to anyone! Vacations spoiled by their attitude.

I was staying here for 20 days 2022 - Dec 1-20 at room 406. After checkout I left my luggage at the reception (sport bag and backpack) and ask reception for a taxi.

At the airport I realize 900 USD was stolen from my backpack (witch was only unattended just for a one hour when is was at the reception).

They ruined all impression of Thailand.

A complete scam. Upon arrival, the hotel room was covered in food crumbs, every surface was disgusting, and the smell was horrid. The photos online were anything but accurate to what I experienced in person. After 20 minutes of being in the room, I could not stand the filth anymore and went downstairs to ask for a refund and to cancel my reservation. The staff was the most disrespectful and rude group of individuals I had ever interacted with in my many weeks here in Thailand. The female manager who wouldn’t provide her name to me proceeded to use the excuse that I should understand what “for the price of the room, this is what to expect”. Since when has the price of a hotel room dictated what a basic level of cleanliness is? There was not a single ounce of professionalism amongst the staff, so if you are even considering this hotel, take this and do not stay here.

DO NOT COME HERE. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM.

We arrived and 20 minutes later we booked a new hotel somewhere else because it was so horrible. The smell in our room was foul, the counters were dirty, the couches stained and with what seemed like food crumbs, the carpets were dirty, bathrooms were not fully clean, towels were disheveled, the paint on the walls was falling apart, the desk was broken, and the view was a series of destroyed buildings.

Not only that, the management was disrespectful and extremely rude and refused to give the money back for the room stating we had paid a cheap price and that’s what we had worth. However, we had just come from a different hotel that was much cheaper and a million times better.

Hope I saved your holiday by writing this review. I know it would have saved ours.
