Camlik 87 Hotel Ayvalik

Writing completely objectively: If you have a pet, stay away from this hotel. Despite no prior notice, they demanded an extra €20 in cash upon arrival. To make matters worse, because we had a pet, they stuck us in a shabby, storage-like room. The window faced a wall, and the whole room was filled with a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Despite pouring chemicals down the drains twice, the issue was not resolved. We had to sleep with the window open in 40-degree heat. They offered us a new room an hour before check-out, but it was too little, too late. The lady at the reception acted as if she hated working there. The breakfast is just passable, nothing to praise. Although the location is claimed to be central, you actually have to walk 20-25 minutes to get anywhere. Staying at this hotel was a complete nightmare.

Disgusting. Upon arrival the hotel lobby was aesthetically nice. No help with our suitcases at all. We then proceeded to our rooms ( 2 rooms booked) we were giving different rooms to what we paid for but as it was a stop over for a night we just wanted to get some rest.
Once entering the room it was nice. But then we entered the bathroom. The toilet was soiled, sink was filthy and shower was overgrown with mould.

Do not recommend.

There was no hot water in the room. The toilet flush was not working. We ordered delox room with a wider Seaview and we paid more for it, but they gave us another room that didn't have a wide view and it was unlike the pictures we booked.
It was very disappointing and they didn't accumidate us with anything nor refund us of the price difference.

Dishonest. They gave us a price over the internet and then increased it 10% when we arrived. Even after showing the amount agreed upon they declined to honor it. Rooms are fine but not worth the additional 10%. Disappointed.
