But unfortunately the people working there were not of any help, every time we asked about a place to go or any other info, their answer were "I don't know"

This is a great cozy place to enjoy your stay in Buyukada, feels very comfy, the people around have positive vibes… it is clean and like a royal house but aim to get the terrace or one of the rooms facing the pool.

Even though the pool is pretty small to swim, it was clean and one can still enjoy it along with a sunbath

The pool area is very nice and great to relax. The staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is the noise, the rooms are not well isolated

very helpful staff , I called them several times to check on the heater, they came just directly when I called. I asked for food they provided a list of close restaurants that can do delivery during the storm

It was a snowy night, me and my friend wanted some adventure so we decided to go there, I was not expecting much actually but it was higher than my expectation, they offered a very good price

The library was comfortable and quiet with a great selection of books and places to relax with the sea breeze coming in through the windows. Its rare to find such a nicely preserved and decorated old world room

There are some things about the room of course - like old ceilings, stains on the carpet which were quiet unpleasant, and main disadvantage of the hotel - it’s made of wood so you feel like everyone walking is inside your room, but the atmosphere of this place is worth it this disadvantages

We had a wonderful experience staying here for a single night in June. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The hotel building is gorgeous and the interior is decorated so well

Nice staff, they speak English, French and of course Turkish. Rooms after renovation new clean and cozy. Gorgeous view of the sea and the courtyard with the pool and the old mansion

The place is a lovely old refurbished hotel. A 110 years old heritage was shown in every part of it. We had my husband's birthday in the hotel and they very nicely surprised him with  champagne and delicious cake

The reception is very helpful except we did have to ask for some things a few times but eventually we did get them (unlike other hotels in Turkey). Generally the place is very friendly and has a nice vibe

They did a great job to turn a 200 year old ‘konak’ to a comfortable and stylish hotel with lots of cozy corners to relax. The breakfast was delicious as well. This is a great place for a lovely weekend getaway

This is a small, intimate, family run hotel, in the middle of tranquility, where only the klippi-ti-klopp of the horse carrices are heard, and the occasional electric scooters and bikes

The hotel is a 200 year old building with wery cosy rooms, and old furniture. The husband is the receptionist and consiglieri, and his wife, the chef, makes the best lemonade - ever

If you are interested in historical houses, full of antique furniture, you should definitely stay there, close your eyes and imagine the the people who lived there many years ago

You would feel the same ambient for a second. The hotel has a really cute garden. In the mornings is homemade Turkish breakfast served!!! The hosts are very friendly and helpful

Highly recommended! Super hosts, very nice rooms and delicious Turkish breakfast. This hotel is very close Dilburnu park and Yorukali Beach. We are staying here with two kids and are having great time

The Turkish breakfast was amazing, with plenty of variety and delicious options, even when we check out and about to leave, they gifted us with a nice wrapped box full of delicious Turkish sweets

We had a wonderful stay at Nizam Butik Otel during our first visit to Büyükada. The owner, Özgür and Mehtap were very welcoming and greeted us with fresh lemon juice

He even showed us three room options so we could choose the one we liked best. Özgür and Mehtap were always friendly and helpful, offering free water and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay

We stayed for 3 days during Christmas time. The staffs were extremely friendly and polite. Thank you for the hospitality. Also, wanted to thank to all staff for the smiley hospitality during breakfast and dinner services

Great hotel with perfect location in the middle of everything. The staff is very well prepared and friendly. They have a restaurant named Secret Garden, I have to say is one of the best from the island

There was a mistake with the booking where expedia charged us and they charged us, the owner found out later that day, and gave us the money back. The restaurant is excellent and the food was great

The only part I didn't like is the noise, it made it very difficult to sleep at night. It's an older building so the upstairs neighbors made our room creak when they moved

Superb stay! Authentic room design, wonderful comfort and cleaning. They upgraded our room to premium room. We, as a honeymoon couple, had great 5 days stay

There were romantic meals at the secret garden restaurant and also live music on weekends. Even location is central, neighbourhood was calm and silent

A breakfast was also delight and more than enough. If I ever would be back in the area, I would stay there again. Only suggestion is to update some towels:)

3 mins walk from the pier but in very quiet area. We had a suite room with a lovely view on the yard and garden. Especially, we appreciated a tentative service from the hotel manager/ reception guy, always with a smile

Room was super clean and cosy and breakfast was included in the price. Breakfast was full of assortments of food and organic jams, amazing breakfast. We stayed there for 7 weeks and everything was perfect

5/5 experience! Located near the port so navigating there was convenient and easy. The room is clean, comfortable and well facilitated. Bonus points for the view that came with it from the veranda

I am still dreaming about the breakfast!!! Very good sized portions with a variety of different dishes. This allowed me to try a lot of different Turkish dishes, would definitely recommend

We stayed in the rooms by the pool for 4 days, which were all nicely isolated but good for lounging

It's only a quick ferry to get to the mainland, which we did on 3 of the days, and managed to see most of the major sights in Istanbul. Absolutely recommend! Far better than the overpriced hotels nearer the waterfront

The staff was very friendly and charming. The breakfast was of good quality. The sauna can be used as a couple privately. The view was also very nice. The bathroom was clean.

Loved the scenery, the Prince's island is a magical place. Everyone working at the hotel was very charming, and the room's were beautiful

Tiny rooms, but it's clean. Opposite to the entrance you can buy vegetables and fruits from a local seller.

However, we stayed there for two nights and the roon service did not come to empty the trash or clean the bathroom, which would be highly appreciated. Most of the rooms are decent in size

If you are a person, who goes to sleep early, the live music coming from the surrounding restaurants may interrupt your sleep. The morning open-buffet breakfasts are satisfactory

I would recommend you to check the size of the room's windows while you are booking a room. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are a lot of eateries all around

This is a small hotel in the shopping center of Büyükada. The rooms are clean when you first settle in

Great location, polite staff, and cute rooms. Breakfast is delightful. The only issue for me is the wifi needs upgrading, if you're trying to get some work done you're better off hot spotting from your phone.

I thought it was little expensive considering that my room did not have a view and the noise insulation was not perfect. Good that they had a free boat to take you their beach. But still. the price was high.

Small rooms , the wooden hotel makes noises and sea birds did not allow us to sleep. But its all about our room 404 in 4 floor The hotel staff are kind and breakfast was good

We loved this boutique hotel's beautiful and unique looking historic building, its warm and welcoming hosts, complimentary tea and water, stunning waterline views of the Bosphorus framed by trees, incredibly quiet surrounding atmosphere, and the extraordinarily delicious traditional Turkish breakfast which included quality cheeses and homemade rose jam, candied chestnut, candied vegetables and fruits...

The historic building does not allow for sound insulation and so for guests with a room on the ground floor who want to go to bed early, you may have a challenging time sleeping if guests on the upper floors are awake

Every footstep can be heard clearly. We'll definitely visit again and recommend that you do too! Phenomenal value for the money, unbeatable breakfasts, wonderful hosts and the setting is incomparable

Anything this 100 year old building lacks in luxury it makes up with unique architecture, location and the friendly staff. The place is clean and quiet. The views are superb.

The only potential cons for you will be that the location is a 20 minute uphill walk from the ferry station. We're in good shape, but it was a haul with our heavy backpacks

Loved it! Old world authentic charm owner, run. Best home cooked meal for dinner. Bit of a walk from the hustle and bustle of main village but defnitetly worth the walk.

I spent a week at the end of June at the Ashiklar boutique hotel Buyukada. Everything was perfect: the staff, the location, the services and the cleanliness. We will come back. I recommend with confidence

There is very very good side of Island. We stayed on March with my friends and we liked so much. Mustapha and Ayse are very friendship host. Breakfast was perfect with view of trees and the sea

The hotel is very quietly, you can hear only sounds of birds. everywhere was very clean, espcially rooms

It’s really hard to find a similar atmosphere in Istanbul. It has a very unique architecture and a very delicious cuisine especially in the mezze department! The staff were very attentive and careful

Really enjoyed fish soup and greek salad. Everything came fresh and nice. Would come back. The prices are a bit high but I understand that this is a touristic island so it was worth it.

It's amazing! Couldn't ask for a better place, close to Istanbul to spend the weekend, relax and enjoy the spectacular view.

Location wise it’s close to a lot of the trails to run/walk on. But a 35 minute walk to town, or there is a local electric bus which goes past and costs about 26 TL per ride using the Istanbul card

However,rooms left to be desired. The toilet door was smaller than the frame(see pic);so you could see/hear/smell everything. In one of the rooms we had ants

A very spirtual peace place with all essential facilities . like a heaven excluding the channels of milk and honey.

It is a bit expensive but I guess the price is in line with the Büyükada-standards. The view was very good and the house was well equipped.

Beautiful place but the price could be more affordable. The WiFi was extremely slow, had to use our own mobile phones for data

Make sure you have ample data quotas if you will be working on your laptop while staying there
