Marin Hotel

The hotel was a big disappointment for us. The rooms were dirty, dusty, and the bathroom was full of mold. The shower hose was cracked, so the water didn’t come from the shower head but from the hose itself. The fridge was dirty, and our towels were not replaced until the 5th day – only after we left money on the bed. The accommodation was on the 4th floor with no elevator, and with our key we could even unlock another guest’s room, which I find very unsafe. The food definitely did not match the advertised “all inclusive.” In reality, it was just full board – breakfast, lunch, and dinner with long gaps in between, no snacks or refreshments. The food selection was very limited, and the bar closed exactly at 8:30 p.m., even if guests were still waiting in line. The experience was made worse by cats and chickens wandering freely around the dining area. The hotel services were also below expectations. The staff hardly spoke English, and the “Czech-speaking representative” could barely communicate in English. WiFi was charged extra, and the prices kept changing – first €2/day, then suddenly $40/week per device. On top of that, we were woken up at night by a rooster (at 1 a.m., 3 a.m., and 5 a.m.). The beach was only accessible by crossing a four-lane road, which was not mentioned in the description and is quite dangerous. Overall, the hotel does not match the presentation or the price. I would only recommend it to those who don’t mind significant shortcomings and are not looking for comfort.

My experience at Marin hotel was absolutely disappointing, first of all it said free wifi on the booking and then we got asked to pay for the wifi and it only works in the lobby nowhere else, the hotel rooms are ok but bathrooms are really bad, shower barley works, the most disappointing was the food, absolutely disgusting and very limited options, some dishes even tasted expired, the conditions that the food is being served in is horrendous and can definitely get people sick, the plates aren’t even washed properly, the bar doesn’t even work during the advertised hours, this is nowhere near a 3 star hotel, absolutely disappointing.

First of all,PRO'S: cute,liitle villge Beldibi,small hotel,calm environment, a lot of greenery around, fruit trees, has it's own beach and free sunbeds, never crowded and clean pool area. Sea is 10 min walk from hotel. Early check in and late check out is available. A lot of good mood gives personnel who works there-starting from ladies who cleans, finishing with administration and bar. Special thanks for administrator Seyit,who tries to fix all the problems as much and as good as he can.
CON'S: hotel is old and worn. All the rooms has old furniture, squeeky beds, clogged shower,no minibar. Problem with towels,some of guests didn't received any. Family rooms are better than 2+1,but still very old. Big lack of tidyness and aesthetics. Linen is old and worn, clean,but with stains that do not wash out, towels too. You get only hot or cold water,nothing in between, so you burn yourself or freeze. It is not a 3 star hotel,compared to EU standarts. There are cocroaches in main area and one of the blocks. I know Turkish cuisine is very nice,but not in this hotel(sometimes they do more effort and has some nice dishes,but rarely). Breakfast is very weak. Lunch and dinner better,but always repeated. Some dishes which hasn't been eaten on lunch,is served cold on dinner. Only vine, fake fanta/cola/sprite and fake juice available at the bar with AI. AI bar works 10:30-20:30, before/after that everything is paid. You can stay at the pool only till 6 pm,after that they prepare area for dinner. Also, negative ambience gives the owner of the hotel,who is always somewhere there watching everyone, not only his personnel,but also clients. He always there,on breakfast,on lunch,dinner,during the day next to the pool. Feels like he is counting how much coffee (available only on breakfast) you drank or how much you ate.
In total,our holidays would be ruined if there wouldn't have been administrator Seyit, who works wonders and gives you the best service. Thank You a lot for Your effort to make our stay as better as it could have been.
