I booked a non-smoking room. However, they gave me a room very smelly room, and the air conditioning was very noisy. I had to talk to the receptionist, and they changed my room the next day.
I encountered another problem at the hotel. I parked at the parking lot at night, and in the morning, I was trapped by two cars I couldn't get out of, but thank God the receptionist helped me.

+ Location is perfect: it's very close to cafe and restaurants.
bus staion is also very close (250 m distance on walking)
- rooms are not perfect; a little bit small, old. staff is also not enough

It's my go to place whenever I visit İzmit, lovely staff with great hygiene. I highly recommend it

Very convenient location. Close to the bus terminal and the tram. The rooms were clean, with only minor issues (the soap dispenser was a bit wonky in ours) beatiful atmosphere in the lobby, and it smells amazing.

The hotel is nice but the rooms are a bit small and it's not comfortable if there are more than 2 people. The elevator is slow and it only allows max. 3 people at a time.
The offer a humble breakfast, but it's not for free. Only children eat free.

It's not a bad hotel, but it definitely is not a four-star hotel. The rooms desperately need updating, the walls are paper thin so that you can hear muffled conversations and coughing. I can't say it was worth the price paid. Location is good though.
