Apartments in Lara

A small cheap hotel ideal if you want to see Lara or like we would like to go on a day trip. Nevertheless 200m to the beach if you want to swim in the sea.

I get fed up paying the daily rate for All Inclusive hotels when my flight arrives so late that I don't get any value, so I booked here for one night before moving to the AI hotel. It looks a bit dodgy from the outside but it has a lift that works and the rooms are above average size. Its located on the 2nd floor where I met the reception guy who was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal for my purpose...

I booked a room for a friend here. It's not really a hotel, it's basically hotel apartments on the 2nd and 3rd level of shops. Most of these shops except the grocery store are very expensive and ridiculous. The Apartment itself had an issue with the AC initially but the owner took care of the problem the 2nd day. It's cheap comparing to the other options in the area so basically you get what you pay...

Our recent stay as a family at Mina Apart Hotel was a fantastic one. The owner of the hotel, his wife and daughter had taken care of us with a family warmth. This is not a modern or upscale hotel. Its more like renting and apartment for the night. The rooms were spacious and clean. They even had a kitchen area. I would recommend this hotel for someone looking for an inexpensive place to stay.
