Beautiful location and building. Very picturesque. Staff was all very polite and attentive. Caroline at the Reception and Lindsay at the Edison Restaurant were phenomenal and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

We love the Grove Park Inn, especially for the holidays. Thanksgiving lunch was outstanding, with a variety of options and a view to die for in the Blue Ridge. On Saturdays after Thanksgiving Santa comes for the children. I can't wait to come back next year when they have fully recovered from the hurricane and the gingerbread displays are fully back.

An old style hotel that has been renovated to give it a more modern flair. Rooms although tastefully decorated are fairly small. Cleanliness of the bathroom (shower) could have been better. We were a little weary about the hotel when seeing the outside… paint chipping, motel looking but the lobby was redone beautifully. We were very pleased with this hotel. No problems at all. We had a quick check-in and check-out. There were restaurants on either side of the hotel. There was also a mall behind the hotel within walking distance. There were other stores close enough to walk to. We never had to move the car while we were there.

We stayed here for my wedding. The location is great, very close to downtown but not near any noise. The lobby had plenty of seating for us to gather before going out and the rooftop bar had plenty of space for when we didn't want to go out. The rooms were spacious and clean. This hotel is a great value in my opinion. It's peaceful and quiet, and the atrium view rooms are quite nice. Our room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean upon our arrival. Not the best motel in the world, but there was no bugs, no mold, and the room was pretty clean and the heater worked. You have bunches of things to do inside, a mini golf course. Kiddie area, and a inside pool attached to a outside pool. The jacuzzi/hot tub was broken though.

Awesome place for a first time date, as the inner rooms are comparable to the Amazon Jungle. With a variety of arcade games and a pool table, lots of private luxury couches, with beautiful rock fireplaces, Staff is wonderful and also they also have a Jacuzzi a swimming pool, washing/Dryer

The room was nice there's a pool table a workout room indoor outdoor pool with a jacuzzi but you couldn't use any of those water objects and the sauna was broke

Staff is really nice! We asked for a clean room and got one (: Spacious lobby and its very intriguing. I really enjoyed my stay here, pool and hot tub! Its a classically older hotel not run down. I imagine perfect for large groups. Its inexpensive and located in a great spot! Not too far from mountains or Asheville!!

There aren't any suites, and this place is every bit of 600 years old. I don't expect much, but even this let me down.

Great room, great valet service & location. It's a historic hotel so there are interesting facts all around. We upgraded to a room in the wing that was newly renovated. Would recommend doing that if possible.

This is a fantastic historical hotel that allows dogs. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and truly appreciate you. The valets are really nice and promptly bring your vehicle around when you need it. You just text “Car” to the number and they bring it up. Great location - very convenient to shopping, restaurants and bars. Both check in and checkout were quick/efficient. Valet parking - brought my car faster than expected. Room was huge, clean and well appointed. Our dog was happy there too.

My father and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had an incredible stay! We stayed in the king suite which had a fully separate bedroom. I slept on the couch (did not pull it out) and slept great. So far so good in this hotel smack in the middle of so many awesome restaurants and shops. The staff has been very nice and the rooms spacious and excellently appointed. The valet parking doesn’t break the bank and the room rates are very reasonable for what you are getting. Only bad thing so far is that the bed is concave. The middle is lower and it’s not comfortable that way.

Very warm and informative welcome at reception. Room was great - AC was on which was a bonus on a hot day. The room and bathroom were clean and well decorated. My husband and I planned our first trip to Asheville to see the Biltmore House. We got to the Hotel and the outside was very nice and clean. We checked in and the staff was amazing, upgraded us to a King Suite for free. The room was so clean and I didn't feel like I had to check the room for bedbugs. This was a wonderful place! The rooms were nicely done. The front desk was always courteous and helpful. There is a laundry room available as well. The breakfast was delicious and had both warm and cold options. I almost stayed an extra day just cause I was so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Asheville again.
