The Omni Grove Park Inn - Asheville, Asheville1 / 50

Asheville, 290 Macon Avenue 🧭 Map
Beautiful location and building. Very picturesque. Staff was all very polite and attentive. Caroline at the Reception and Lindsay at the Edison Restaurant were phenomenal and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated.
We love the Grove Park Inn, especially for the holidays. Thanksgiving lunch was outstanding, with a variety of options and a view to die for in the Blue Ridge. On Saturdays after Thanksgiving Santa comes for the children. I can't wait to come back next year when they have fully recovered from the hurricane and the gingerbread displays are fully back.
Wow! This is definitely one of the best resorts that I've ever stayed at and the spa was by far...the best spa that I've ever been to! It was magical and everything was way beyond my expectations. I was very impressed and I plan to bring my boyfriend there next year. It was an amazing experience! The rocks, waterfalls, underwater music, food, drinks, service, and massages were all perfect. Brandon...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grove Park Inn, and it was an absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. The historic charm of the hotel is evident the moment you step into the grand lobby, with its stunning architecture and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the...
We are local, we had reservations on December 28 for dinner at the blue ridge room. Cocktails excellent, service was great, and food selection was quite overwhelming, with so many choices! And the food was really surprisingly delicious, fresh tasting and kept at correct temperature! We had a lovely memorable celebration with our family! Also we spent some time before and after dinner walking around...
The hotel is iconic and the grounds are beautiful. The spa is also incredible, if you can get in. I’ve been before but couldn’t get an appointment this time. You can try to get a day pass to use the facilities. Check in was super easy and the person helping us was friendly and helpful. Our room was in the historic building. The rooms are definitely not luxurious. At all. I know they have tried to...

I recently celebrated a two-year anniversary in Asheville and decided to stay outside the downtown area. After driving from Kannapolis, NC, we planned to find a place to stay later in the day. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding service provided by Bill Kinsloe. Despite it being late at night, Bill went above and beyond to secure the last available room for us, offering a deal I didn't think...
Great room, great valet service & location. It's a historic hotel so there are interesting facts all around. We upgraded to a room in the wing that was newly renovated. Would recommend doing that if possible.
This is a fantastic historical hotel that allows dogs. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and truly appreciate you. The valets are really nice and promptly bring your vehicle around when you need it. You just text “Car” to the number and they bring it up. My only gripe is not with the hotel, but more with the city of Asheville. I know it’s a super liberal progressive city, and I’m okay with...
Great location - very convenient to shopping, restaurants and bars. Both check in and checkout were quick/efficient. Valet parking - brought my car faster than expected. Room was huge, clean and well appointed. Our dog was happy there too.
My father and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had an incredible stay! We stayed in the king suite which had a fully separate bedroom. I slept on the couch (did not pull it out) and slept great. This was the largest hotel room I have stayed in. The double sinks in the bathroom was such a plus. The staff was very kind and helpful - we loved our valets . The history of the building is really cool and...
So far so good in this hotel smack in the middle of so many awesome restaurants and shops. The staff has been very nice and the rooms spacious and excellently appointed. The valet parking doesn’t break the bank and the room rates are very reasonable for what you are getting. Only bad thing so far is that the bed is concave. The middle is lower and it’s not comfortable that way.

The spa was incredible, I went on the waitlist for a facial and got lucky I guess as they called the next day! Best facial I’ve ever had!
The staff, from the front door greeter to the front desk to the sweet lady with housekeeping that brought extra towels were simply FANTASTIC! This was a beautiful hotel, clean, close to lots of restaurants. I would recommend and will stay again when in the area. Wonderful!
Bought my 7 year old here for a special mommy and son night. The hotel is excellent—clean clean clean. Like “my kid was playing hide and seek and hid under the hotel bed with minimal dust mites” kind of clean. the furniture is contemporary and updated. We stayed in a suite overlooking the mountains. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The hotel restaurant was “meh” in my opinion but my son...
A great place to relax with a movie theater, restaurants, and shops all in walking distance. Room service was great the two times we used it. The made to order breakfast was very good each day. All in all it was a very good trip!
The people are wonderful friendly and willing to help. We had a late check-in in a pet friendly room. All went well. It was dark and we were exhausted so having a seamless check in helped as we could t wait to get to sleep. The review would have been five star if, upon awaking and opening the windows we hadn’t been give. A room looking at the air conditioning units. We had limited time in the hotel...
Excellent stay - one of my favs in Asheville. Biltmore Park is enough out of the way, yet offers plenty of shopping and dining on-site. The beds are probably the last to be updated and are pretty firm, but the rooms are spacious, well laid out, and clean. The on-site restaurant is amazing, with a full service bar and several options. If you’re looking to avoid downtown traffic, consider this stay...

Killer place to stay. We rented a car but only used it once in 4 days as we walked everywhere. Beautiful building inside and out and incredibly accommodating staff.
The Windsor Boutique Hotel is fabulous! I celebrated my birthday weekend in Asheville and stayed at the Windsor. The historic building has so much charm. The rooms are large and clean and the staff will meet all your personal needs! I love this hotel!! Thank you Elijah for your excellent service!
It was fabulous!! I went on a girls trip with 2 teenagers and the location was perfect. We never even saw our vehicle until check out. The rooms are more than just rooms, they are a whole experience and the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We will be back!!
We have just about stayed all over town in Asheville at this point and the Windsor is my personal favorite. It’s in a beautiful historic building. It is luxurious while still feeling cozy and intimate. The rooms have everything you need and are so thoughtfully styled. The location is walkable to all the good stuff. And the staff is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed in room 201 in this really cute hotel. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to just about everything. Love the decor of the room and the space it offered compared to a typical hotel. It was cozy and had everything we needed. I do have a couple of complaints and am only stating them because as an owner, I'd want to know. We stayed for 4 nights. We came in contact with...

I can not say enough good things about this property. The people that work here are amazing from the front desk to the bartenders, valet and everyone else on the team. My husband and I stayed in Hotel Indigo's penthouse suite during our wedding weekend. The views from our room were absolutely beautiful, everywhere was clean, and we LOVED the huge balcony. I ate breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby one morning and thought the food and coffee were tasty. The front desk staff and valet guys were all very friendly. Many of our guests also stayed here and no one had...
Staff was extra helpful and friendly. The valet was quick. Location was convenient to the highway and only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and breweries. Only complaint is the condition of the room. It’s obvious they clean the rooms daily but it hasn’t been deep cleaned for a little bit and furniture had a good amount of wear and tear. Great hotel though! Would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean. Linens were fresh. Shower in bathroom was amazing. Large and tiled. Newly remodeled. Great views of downtown. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! The fruit was fresh. Eggs cooked perfectly. Oatmeal was good also. The only negative is no on-site parking. However valet parking for an additional $30 per night is available. We would definitely...
We booked a penthouse suite to have plenty of room to move around and invite people to our room, and the views did not disappoint! Check in was super easy. Everyone was fantastic from the parking guys to the bartenders. Actually, the female bartender (sorry don't know name) was funny and enthusiastic as well as a great mixologist! Mary in the restaurant was also exceptional.
We stayed here for the first time due to a great credit card offer. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all so friendly. We loved the vibe the hotel gave off. The room and bathroom were very high end. We...
Visiting friends staying in the hotel who could not say enough great things about it, we had THE MOST fun in the Stag Bar eating and drinking with Ken! He provided stellar service to our party and made the night memorable. The wine list was well thought out and every plate we ordered and shared was fantastic. But Ken really made our night.
My wife and I went there for our honeymoon and had the most relaxing and luxurious stay that either of us had experienced in our lives. It is the best place we have ever stayed, the staff was very attentative, called us by name and were always striving to help. 2nd stay at this hotel and loved it just as much, if not more than the first time 8 years ago. The staff is just as amazing as they were last time. One of the managers, Sean embodied the word “hospitality”, being extra accommodating and helpful when a booking error WE made resulted in us not having a room as we’d planned. Can’t wait to find an excuse to stay here again.
The rooms are really incredible with large bathtubs, enclosed toilet, and a roomy shower. The atmosphere is nice, and the food/service is spectacular. This is a great place to stay if you are overnight in Asheville.

For Me, it was a fantastic experience . Made great use of the Hot Tub. And for some reason my room smells of Lavinder. Very relaxing nice touch.
Accommodation was very nice! Love that Dove hand soap was available for the bathroom sink and not just one little hand bar. The housekeeping service were like ninjas cleaning up my kids mess before I came back with napkins. I don't even know how they found it that fast.
I didn't have a long stay, but it was great for me. The rooms were nice and clean. I loved the selection at the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty close to different highways/state road so you can get to anywhere you needed to quick. A good price as well. All in all, I would stay there again if I needed to go back to the area
Beautiful hotel. I don't usually give 5 star to hotels but this one was awesome. No weird smells, well kept furnishings, kind staff, hot tub next to small workout room, and great hotwire booking price. There were only 3 negatives that I can easily overlook. The first is that the pool is outdoors and a little cold for some but for me having grown up on the great lakes, it was still warmer than Lake...

For an old hospital this facility is really nice. Our unit 102b, was clean and roomy but some furniture could use repairs or replacing. The bedrooms are upstairs with their own bathroom and the master has a sitting room. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Really cool place that is a nice change of pace from a traditional hotel. Location can’t be beat, with great restaurants within walking distance. There were some details of the rooms that need improvement (quality of towels/mattress/carpet) but overall a quality venue. Helps that I paid less than $200 from Travelocity. Perfect for two couples or a family.
This hotel is absolutely incredible! The rooms are beautiful and classy and there's more space than you can imagine! We had such an excellent stay. The work triangle in the kitchen is so nice, the water pressure so good, tub comfy, wifi good, every living space comfortable and furnished elegantly. Pleasantly surprised by this spot and the fantastic staff. The rooms are fairly updated (save for the bathroom at least in my room) and the furniture is useful. Would be a great spot for a group in the 2 beds rooms I think the couches even pull out. Would definitely stay here again
I have been frequenting this hotel for years now. It truly is a gem. If I want to take a day to get up, come to the mountains from Charlotte, hike, and have a relaxing evening to soothe my soul and my body, this is my go to. The rates are reasonable, the amenities are perfect, and it is very contemporary and updated. Must get the king suite with the jacuzzi tub. I love booking this for a night, but...
Clean room and very helpful, friendly staff. Great price for how close they are to the downtown area. My only issue was the walls are thin. Every noise my neighbors made was heard and I was right by the stairs so they was a lot of stomping... However, Alex was super sweet and cheerful while helping me check out which was a great way to end the stay. Thanks for a cozy night!
What a fantastic hotel! It's nice and clean, the staff are polite, and there are open amenities and a big breakfast. Our room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was practical and we had no issues with the shower or toilets like some other hotels. The pool has heating and is indoors, which was very enjoyable out of the sun in the summer. I would absolutely stay here again.
I am a Nurse at Mission in the OR. Clean is of upmost importance to me. This hotel is super clean! Check in process was fast and the staff were excellent. Some of the reviews for this beautiful lodge were ridiculous. Unless there has been an amazing remodeling and super fast....not sure what those people were talking about!! It is just as the pictures show. I have stayed at many of the area hotels...

The Breakfast was good. I wish that it was a of a meal experience with couples sitting together at a large table promoting interaction. I thought that if given an opportunity I think that folks that were there would choose to be more social as opposed to treating the stay like if they were at a hotel. It was nice to have coffee available throughout the day.
Great place! Cozy rooms with beautiful decor, a fireplace or two, spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi,. Staff was very helpful, and the grounds are very nice with lovely plants and areas to relax., It's walking distance from many restaurants and shops, but off the beaten path enough that it feels like a private oasis. So glad we stumbled upon Whitegate Inn! I recommend to those looking for a quaint, relaxing, charming B&B close enough to walk to the downtown action but far enough for a quiet stay. The CI is in a prime location and next to the Texas Roadhouse, so you can walk to and from the motel and restaurant, without getting others involved😄🍺 respectively. The grilling smell traveling through the motel parking lot had me eager to eat here. Back to the CI-The room was spacious and extremely clean. All the furniture was modern and/or updated very recently
I do not typically choose a motel. However the rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. There is a little bit of outside noise associated with a motel but tolerable. The ladies at the front desk were amazing and helpful. Great location near the Biltmore and many restaurants
The hotel is great. We book 1 night cause we weren't sure then extended 3 more nights. The room was very clean. The staff was excellent. The location was great and close to everything. Highly recommended.
Spotless rooms and very comfortable beds..even the pillows were great!!! Tub was clean so my wife could bathe without concern. My only issue was having our door knocked on at 8:30 am and again about an hour later..the knocking and opening of the door way before check out...very annoying. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was a little older, with the balcony door a little difficult to latch closed, but was still quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint, and this the removal of a star, is the there is no sleeping in. When people near you start leaving their rooms, you'll hear every door open and close. Clean, quiet, affordable. Good breakfast. Staff are very attentive and you always see them tidying common areas. Really enjoyed our stay here.
We stayed here due to car problems on our way to Durham. It was a very nice place. The beds were great, and the staff was very nice. Had a good breakfast as well. Would definitely stay here again. Good clean place for a good night sleep. With lots of restaurants near by.
+ I visited family who stayed here a three nights. The rooms are nice, the hotel is dog friendly and breakfast was pretty good - The bed wasn't made properly, the fitted sheet was just under the blankets. This isn't a huge deal but having to remake the bed was unexpected. If you can book your room during the week you will save considerably. Friday night cost significantly more than Wednesday and Thursday
Hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful.. But...The one bad review was the breakfast. There were no places clean to sit. The coffee was empty and there was no waffle batter. Patrons were taking the food to their rooms because of the chaos..

I stayed there recently with my parents, and it was really great! It's a very old historic building with only a small number of rooms, so customer service and attention to detail is excellent. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have a very historic feel. Don't miss breakfast!
Hospitality, food, the look and feel of the house, everything being so clean, etc. I can’t recommend this place enough. I have stayed in B&B’s where everyone eats at the same table, which is fine, but sometimes you don’t want to make small talk with strangers at 8am. I loved that breakfast was a drop in from 8:30-9:30 and each room got their own table.
My 16 year old daughter and I came here from Northeast Georgia for a relaxing, fun mother/daughter get away. We had such a wonderful, relaxing time at the Inn. The day of check on, I received a text asking if I had any dietary restrictions they needed to worry about (no) and if we had an idea around what time we'd arrive. The room was clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was very clean and the motel was comfortable. It was very quiet. The owner was very nice and we were appreciative of him. If we find ourselves in Asheville again, we will stay here. Instead I chose to "wake and bake" to Asheville's finist cannibus cuisine since I was in town on a 'skiing vacation...
I am a over the road truck driver and to b able to get a clean room at a reasonable price with owners present not allowing people on the property that don't belone accept as a guest to person renting room clean kept up outside as well as inside they no charge for my dog and were helpfull to any questions I had not being from this area..I will stay here anytime I come threw this area ...u will feel...
This motel is clean, inexpensive, almost half the price of other rooms in the area. Friendly staff. Note that the rooms are smoking rooms, they will smell like smoke, it's stated so no complaints. Hot water, great internet. Great location. I did not feel unsafe here. Has a fridge, bathroom, computer table, cable TV. Room wasnt very spacious, however who stays here to sit in the room all day. Overall...

Very nice place to spend the weekend with my grown children . We had a Thanksgiving/ Christmas celebration there . It would be a wonderful venue for a family reunion with the grill, the koi pond, fire pit and picnic tables in the front yard. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. The house was large enough for 6 people to be very comfortable. The master bed was extremely comfortable. At...
I've stayed at The Pines several times but my last stay was disappointing. Aside from being pet friendly and having a fireplace, The Pines has gone downhill. Shabby chic has become just shabby. The beds are no longer comfortable, the sofa seating too. The kitchen had heavy outdoor lawn furniture at the table. The cooking equipment was dollar store quality. The towels were stiff. The toilet paper poor...
This is the absolute perfect place to stay when visiting the Ashville area! The cabins are super cute, quaint, clean and give you the rustic vibe experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I can't thank Rebecca and Barb enough for making our stay so pleasant. This truly is the hidden gem of North Ashville, and would definitely recommend staying here instead of a hotel. The rates are fair...
We stayed in cabin 11 a two bedroom cottage. We were comfortable and appreciated that our pets could join us. The sign at the road is hard to read but there is an easy turn around point if you miss it.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!! We had such a fun time. The owners were so accommodating and kind. Our cabin (#10) was clean and the bed was comfortable. Privacy on the end of the driveway. Road noise was not bad. Heads up, the shower is tiny and there is no room for shower stuff or to shave. Buy a cheap shower caddy to bring!!
We were almost deterred from coming due to some other posts that we had seen. However I am glad that we ignored them and came anyway. The cottages are charming and cheerful. They were very clean and well kept. The young lady (Crystal) who works in the office was exceedingly nice and helpful. We were traveling with a small dog and found both dog treats and a bowl of water in the cottage. We were...

Bj the manager is very helpful, polite and professional. Anything you need is right there. Very large rooms, extremely clean, quite. Others staying there are really nice.
Discovered this gem and will never go back to a hotel when staying in Asheville! All the other reviews here are spot on: quiet, safe & secure, great shared amenities, easy walking to downtown AVL but you wouldn't know it by how peaceful the street is. Host BJ is so helpful & welcoming, super-available by phone/text if needed. Our room was an oasis after busy days exploring and hiking. We'll be back
My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay in the tiny house! It was very clean and actually bigger than we thought it would be. He is 6’5” and I am 5’11” and we had no issues with space. When we walked in it was very obviously just deep cleaned. The location was absolutely perfect, easily walkable to downtown and all the breweries. The owners were very communicative and made sure we had everything needed...
Extremely clean, comfortable, quiet and well- maintained. The host was great and gave me a tour, the rules, and offered local eateries and things to do. It was very close (walkable) to downtown and to the breweries. I felt safe in this location and with the safety measures in place at the house. Thanks for a great stay!
if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep that's close to the action for a good price, stay here. pricier than the hostels but a better value with privacy, parking, and location.
Why stay at an expensive hotel when there's this gem in town? Clean, affordable and walkable to all of downtown-I never stay anywhere else when I'm in Asheville.
