Listen, using reviews as a way to market is a great tool EXCEPT when you lie. These 4.5 reviews cost me $400.
This hotel is disgusting. It reeks of cigarette and mold smells. Stained carpets in the halls. So many cigarette burns in curtain it looks like bird shot. To top it off, I'm pretty sure what I saw on the mattress corners were bed bugs.
The ONLY thing good about this place is it is across the street from the beach, not worth being mugged, contracting a disease, or bed bugs.
If you read this and still choose to take your chances, hope you're up-to-date on all shots. Good luck!

Very cheap prices for a nice, comfortable visit. Staff is incredibly friendly and in high spirits. We prepaid online and had no issues. Rooms were clean and the view is lovely. Would recommend to friends. Overall a 9/10.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! Josh was very nice and helpful at the front desk. Room was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and had a huge tub + nice shower. It’s right on the beach and next to stores. Will definitely be coming back to stay again for future trips!

Been staying here for a few weeks, probably the best motel 6 in the country. Cleaning staff does an amazing job, as does maintenance. The rooms have a normal style a.c./heater like your house does. Some of the furniture could use an updating as it's getting worn out. It is right across the street from an awesome beach. All the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful with whatever is needed. Josh at the front desk is always a smiling helpful face in the evening.

Pros: great location, well-lit at night, rooms were clean with no smell, AC works AMAZING. Beach view from rooms.
Cons: the inside smells bad. Like, really bad. Roach spray, mildew, and cigarettes. It made me nauseous to walk in and out of the room it was so bad. The price attracts questionable guests, and I would absolutely not feel safe staying alone. Just a lot of drunks and people who could really use a shower. The cards to get in the room stopped working multiple times in 2 days. Again, I could almost throw up from the smell of this place. It’s gross outside of the rooms. It’s pet friendly so the influx of big dogs walking around inside probably contributes to that. Also, it’s not walkable to the beach as you’d have to cross both sides of a busy highway with no walkway.
I would not stay here again nor recommend, but i probably MIGHT if I couldn’t afford anything else.

What you’d expect for the price, but worth it. Good enough place to stay if you’re traveling on a budget.

Back story...we had a different local hotel (Best Western) pre-scheduled for the evening for 3 rooms with pets but they did not have our rooms that we previously reserved (long story and I am NOT happy with them). So, we called Motel 6 last minute Sunday evening and Josh was lovely on the phone and was able to get us the 3 rooms we needed!! He also recommended a great place to eat (Woody's) and we ended up having a wonderful dinner. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the rest of the team was also helpful. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure!!

I am staying here for the next couple months and the customer service is unmatched! Everyone has a smile and is always going above and beyond. Wendy, Candie and Alicia especially are amazing! I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

Everyone on the staff was so helpful and kind. My stay was amazing! Thank you for a very wonderful relaxing clean and safe environment! Mrs Wendy and Josh got me all settled in and Mrs. Candy everyone the next day were so helpful in getting me back on the road so relaxed and helpful.

If you're looking for a motel to stay in this is the one. This is probably one of the most friendliest Cleanest Motel 6 I've ever been to and I do a lot of traveling. Ralph hands down is the greatest person as he worked with me through a time I needed help. Take my review Very seriously I stayed in this hotel for a full month nothing but great staff and people. Ralph my daughter and I Appreciate you very much.
