Cody, 1701 Sheridan Avenue 🧭 Map
Nice, modern, clean, breakfast with a lot of choice. Quite large hotel (many rooms), but were not disturbed by a lot of noise.
The hotel and it's amenities were very good, but I have never had service from such an outstanding staff! They went above and beyond and were the most accommodating I've ever come across. Couldn't be happier!
Chose this place based on reviews and price. Very happy we did. Was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and the cabins are exceptionally clean!! The sheets even smelled like fresh clean sheets instead of a bleach smell. No refrigerator or coffee machine but we had a cooler and they have ice available. Fresh coffee was available at the front office and was delicious! Highly recommend
Neat, clean. Rooms of average size with two double beds. Beds were comfortable with decent pillows. Service, most likely due to lack of employees, was lacking. Our alarm clock did not work and we needed to meet our group earlier than usual. Went to front desk to ask for one and was assured yes soon. Waited two hours and called, same assurances. Waited another two hours and went to desk again. Yes one...
I'm really surprised at the negative reviews. For what we paid for this cabin, I thought it was great. We are a large family of eight and most places don't even let us put the two little ones on the floor. The staff was very welcoming. We needed a microwave and fridge and they were both promptly brought in. The space is pretty small, but for a one night's stay coming through town, it was great for...
Staff were friendly. Quick to get a room, not too much paperwork. Price not terrible for the location. Room very nice with many outlets and extras but disappointed in a few aspects. The AC did not get cold at all. Set at the lowest temperature and highest fan and I was warm in the far bed. The bathroom looks much nicer than most hotels, but the shower design, although looks nice, is terribly designed...

The room we had was great, clean and looked well taken care of. The hotel looked new. The room was spacious and it was named the Chief Joseph Suite. We noticed that there were several suites. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles etc.
Good location, nice accomodations. Room was pretty nice. No complaints at all. Staff was friendly, but didn't deal with them much. Breakfast would be good if you were in a hurry or just wanted a quick bite. But it was really just a continental breakfast with eggs and waffles. Went next door and had a great breakfast at Bubba's.
I'm giving this a 4 star only because of our initial experience when we got to our room. There was no water!!! In the sink, in the toilet or the shower! The lady at the front desk quickly gave us a new room for our troubles and was very accommodating. We chose this hotel for the sheer fact there was a breakfast given. However there was no difference in the days to what was given each day but that...
A nice older style Lodge with tons of character. Not your lookalike hotel! Nice, comfortable room, quiet, good breakfast! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Cody.
My family had a rough trip, wheel bearing went out on a new van, dealer forgot to tighten lug nuts, Yellowstone flooded and shut down the entire nonrefundable two weeks we had planned. But Deb and the rest of the gals at AmericInn Cody, Wyoming made us feel at home! They were extra accommodating even in the midst of the relentless guests pouring in with nowhere to stay! They really went a live and...
I just stayed here 7 nights during Christmas week 2017. The staff was as pleasant and helpful as you could possibly ask for. The room was perfect and the bed just sucked me in and knocked me out. That's important. It was sub-zero outside but cozy inside. Their breakfasts were above par. I especially liked having coffee available 24/7. I would happily stay here again. My grandchildren really enjoyed...

This place is a clear ten! Fantastic staff, location, pool, house and surrounding activities. Will be back!
We had a great stay at Cody Cowboy Village. The cabin was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! It was the perfect stop after traveling and camping for several days through Wyoming. Petra, the manager, is very welcoming. She gave us outstanding recommendations for things to do in the area. We stopped in next door for a great chuckwagon/dinner show and then walked to the rodeo. The location...
This was our fifth time staying at Cowboy Village since 2006. It is a great place to stay. If you want a hot breakfast Our Place across the road is wonderful. Very laid back and really nice. The best beds So comfortable. Excellent staff Great location to Yellowstone. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Nice log cabins located more towards the end of town. Nicely decorated with a western touch. Beds were comfortable and the room clean. Front desk was friendly, though I had a slight sense they were trying to send me to the rodeo (which we were going to) and the Cody Cattle Company for dinner next door (which we didn't go to as the timing didn't work). Easy drive into town, but it's a short walk to...
What a great place to stay! My wife and I stayed here for two nights in a quaint cabin, #112. It was very clean but more importantly had a nice hot shower and firm bed. It had a small frigidaire refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast was nice and the coffee good. The air conditioner kept the room cold. Housekeeping cleaned the room while we were out for the day....
Stopped through on a family road trip and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is fun, the kids loved the log cabins. We arrived at 10pm and it was quiet and perfect for getting some rest. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are CLEAN! They are clean the way they would be if I came ahead and did the cleaning, which is the nicest and most welcoming thing for travelers. But the staff were also super...

How refreshing to find a hotel that has it all. Friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms, free breakfast, gym, hot tub, pool and ample parking. Add a nice common area with a fireplace and coffee together with fresh iced water. When we arrived we were greeted by Heidi, a wonderfully friendly lady who readily gave us tips regarding attending the rodeo and eating dinner. Awesome!
We loved our stay at The Cody. We were here for two nights with our German shepherd. We always travel with her dog bed, which is GSD size, and the king bed room was large enough that there were options of where we could place it in the room. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of places to plug in electronics. We had our own door to the outside behind...
Great hotel. Lobby is welcoming and lots of seating areas to hang out, with large fireplace. Rooms were very clean, and very quiet! Has about every amenity you could possibly need, asa well as, a pet area in the rear of the hotel. Plenty of parking, and best of all fresh baked cookies and cucumber water in the lobby! Near food and activities.
We spent one night here to celebrate our anniversary based on a recommendation from a friend. They were right! This place was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, high end bedding and towels, nicely decorated and peaceful. The staff was wonderful from the reservation on the phone, to check in and check out. Loved, Loved, Loved IT!
We absolutely loved this place! We travel often and have stayed in several hotels and this by far was one of the best. They not only had great hospitality, but they also have a warm pool (you never find those at hotels), and it was very clean! The entire staff was very friendly and I constantly seen them cleaning all the things which always makes me more comfortable especially with a baby. Only changes...

Nice clean room, Very friendly people at front desk, good breakfast, overall very friendly. Definitely will stay again when in the area of Cody
Very nice hotel, clean and well kept. The lobby looks really amazing. The ladies at the desk were also nice with good customer service skills.
Cody was a great place to stop. So quaint. Front desk staff were very amiable and helpful. Location was great. Breakfast was good and in a very charming old building.
Rooms and location were fantastic. The front desk staff failed to say hello or actually anything every time we passed the front desk. Some hospitality training would be helpful.
Great place to stay. The front desk was very helpful. Laundry facilities were great. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops for those that can walk 4-5 city blocks.

Exceptional hotel, great bar, and a terrific manager (Bill) that goes out of his way to make sure you're happy!
Spur of moment to stay in Cody. Staff very friendly and because we are working at Yellowstone they gave us the local rate. Great personality and used their library for some printer needs
My wife and I decided to take a weekend and go to Cody. When searching for a place to stay, the Chamberlin Inn popped up. We decided to stay there and are so happy we did. The rooms were lovely, and the state and management greeted us as if we were family. The Garden area had Live Music, and the Bar was great! We highly recommend the Chamberlin Inn and will stay here every time we come to Cody
We didn't stay here but stopped by for a drink. Beautiful patio area with lights and a fire pit. The drink was delish! I think some nights they have a food truck come out as well.
We stayed in the Classic King Suite. The attention to detail, spick & span clean, service was A+. Everything was so wonderful we edited our travel plans and stayed an extra night. I will say that it does irk me when staying at a hotel and there isn’t daily housekeeping due to C19. I would much rather hear ‘we are short housekeepers’ But, your establishment is so wonderful it didn’t matter. I...

I grew up in Cody and the Irma was always the place to meet friends for food and drinks, when I returned to town. I always wanted to stay in the hotel and decided I wasn't getting any younger. So glad I did.
Lot of history here so we stopped for lunch. The 3 other individuals in our group had good food. I chose the salad bar for $12.99. It was very disappointing. Not much to choose from and the vegetables in the soup were very crunchy especially the potatoes. I don't like mushy potatoes but I don't like raw either.
This is an awesome historic hotel/restaurant! They have it set up like it would have been in the Old Wild West. The host/bartender is dressed like the part from the old days which added a really cool touch. The food was delicious too! My husband had the cowboy burger and I had the spinach artichoke dip. There wasn’t a lot of options for vegetarians but the spinach artichoke dip was by far the best...
We came here for Prime Rib on the recommendation of a friend, well, he was not wrong. The Prime Rib here is so, so good, probably the best I've ever had. So I'll tell you like he told me, get the prime rib, not from the buffet, but actually order it. It is top notch!! The beer was served icy cold, and the servers and staff were friendly and attentive. Plus the building with all of its history and western...
Family ate there for dinner during the 4th of July weekend. The food was good. The chicken fried steak and chicken pot pie was great. Too late for the buffet. The service was VERY slow and not the most friendly, but still cordial. The atmosphere was so fun! Will go back someday when we get back to Cody!
Ate breakfast here Sunday morning with all my kids on our vacation. Most of us have the breakfast buffet which was expansive, hot and delicious! Sat next to a retired lumberjack that lived in the area and he gave me a plethora of great suggestions for things to do in the area and tips for where to enter Yellowstone and what to see first. Great one night stay in Cody. Clean good sized room with good continental breakfast. Would stay here again!
We liked our stay in this hotel. It was clean and the room was spacious. The lobby has a ton of cool animals and were fun to look at. The staff was warm and welcoming. The only thing we didn't like was the sack breakfast.
Great stay. The pool is heated and indoors. It is very relaxing. The housekeeping staff is very accommodating and front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a free breakfast. Location is great, very close to museums, the Irma Hotel, shopping and Yellowstone National Park.

Very nice hotel, super friendly staff which was pleasant! The only thing could be a little more variety/better breakfast and some updates here and there, but overall would recommend!
Great free wifi and clean rooms. The Inn is somewhat removed from town and showing its age. Much in need of renovations, but they also have decent room rates and free continental breakfast. I would stay here again.
Very clean and comfortable motel. Rooms on the ground floor are accessible from the inside AND the outside by two different doors. Very friendly and helpful staff! The woman at the front desk recommended the Irma Hotel on Sheridan Ave for dinner which was awesome. Sitting outside this old traditional hotel watching Cody people enjoying the evening I had such a great evening as well.
The hospitality was nice, but the rooms and bathrooms could be improved. The doors to and from the room were difficult to open and keep open. The website that booked this place said there was an "indoor pool and spa", however to my dismay there was no pool. I would find a nicer place to stay next time. The bathrooms could be improved.
Beds were comfortable. We got the family room and it had lots of space and was clean. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast could be improved but since the location was close to everything, we found a cute diner nearby to eat at instead.

Amazing views, rustic charm, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and all conveinces within a few minutes away. Our room didn't have a dresser or closet, however I noticed they are in the process of updating the rooms so I imagine all rooms will have clothing storage by the next tourist season. We came in the off season to visit family and will absolutely stay again on our next trip here.
Our stay at The Big Bear was absolutely wonderful! From our first night to our last we were treated with kindness and enjoyed every moment. Rides on Hank, meeting Cookie and Sweet Bella dog made our experience so special. The room was spotless, amenities unbeatable and every detail is thought out. We made lifelong memories and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Big Bear!
We had one of the fun little cabins. So it was rustic but oh so cute. No restaurant. No real special amenities but it was within walking distance to the rodeo. Cody is just a cool little town and this place was special.
Stayed 1 night as a stop on our motorcycle adventure. We were pleasantly surprised with this place. Clean rooms and nice decor for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, watching the well cared for horse and pony that was giving rides, live cowboy music just outside of the lobby and the convenient location. Would stay again
Very quaint place .The prices are really good, the room is super clean, bed is comfortable and the folks at the office are very friendly . It definitely works .
Stayed here a summer ago with my wife and kids on our way to Yellowstone. The rooms were very clean and we never had any problems with checking in or out. The rooms though are very small, so beware when travelling with family. And also the motel is quite spendy. My kids had a blast in the pool though! Would stay here again, I don't think there are many options in the area.

This proved to be one of the most comfortable rooms during my driving holiday: the layout of the room was very good; it was spotlessly clean; everything necessary for a short, overnight stay was provided. The breakfast was modest but quite adequate. The reception staff were very good and welcoming.
Great pet friendly hotel with a super cute dog walk. The staff was very friendly. The room was neat and clean.
Awesome!! But what makes the a five star hotel. After working a long day and being away from home almost 2 weeks... walking in with all my luggage, a gentleman working there, without any hesitation, stopped what he was doing and grabbed not only luggage but my roommates. THAT MADE MY DAY. 👌 👏
Clean, pet friendly and located close to attractions. A little more expensive than we expected - $200 plus for a night. Great area to exercise pets and to smoke outside. Cereals, yogurt, fruit and omelets in the lobby each morning. Several varieties of coffee also available in lobby and coffee maker with coffee in the room. Microwave, small fridge and safe also in room. Only problem we had was when...
As a front desk employee and night auditor here for almost 3 years, I can verify that this is the nicest Super 8 I have ever encountered. Very clean and inviting. Staff were super personable and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the back. While looking out the window after dark, the hill had benches staggered on it and had beautiful lights placed on the ground and had a lighted cross. Extremely beautiful! We were just in Cody on a bike trip and stayed at the Western Rose Motel. If is very clean and updated and the bed are comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants and local attractions. we loved this place. we were running way behind got a call from the owner to make sure we were ok and that she'd have the room all set for us. The owners are on site and totally awesome. Loved the room, we had the family suite. Clean and comfy.
As they say "Don't judge a book by its cover. Upon arrival my wife said what did you do! But once inside the room was nice, clean and pleasant. Best are the owners who are a great couple who own the motel. They even called to tell me I'd left my camera battery and charger 10 min after we left.
Loved our stay here. Great spot off the busy road but close enough to walk to most things. Rooms were very clean, bed comfortable and staff were great! Picnic tables outside were a great place to relax and plan the next part of our journey. The guest laundry was also greatly appreciated. We would recommend A Western Rose for your stay in Cody!
My sister and I stayed here on the way to Yellowstone. We chose this place for their reasonable rates. I liked that it was within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Over all this isn't a bad place to stay. Service was good. Rooms are nice. Beds we're comfortable. Con: you can't adjust the air conditioner in the room. It was so warm we had a hard time sleeping. We adjusted it to a cooler setting, it would come on for about a minute then turn off for like 10, then turn on again for a minute. This did absolutely nothing to cool the room. We probably won't stay...
Extremely clean, comfortable and fantastic service...and for a good price during hunting season. Kudos.
Nothing wrong with the rooms. There's no breakfast, but that's solvable, there are places to get food just over the street. There is a hot drink station in the lobby with a fair assortment. The gym is bearly worth mentioning, a bike and a running band standing in a small room.

In September, 2017 we stayed in a king room for two nights. We found the room to be very clean, very quiet with polite staff. The room was arranged in manner that allowed me to easily cook meals with even a toaster oven that had not been offered at any other motels we stayed at on our 15 day journey. Bed was great and we got a good night's rest. Would definitely stay there again.
Got in super late and the front desk lady was great. Trying to find a hotel room without spending a ridiculous amount of money in this town is nearly impossible; this would have been a 40 dollar room anywhere else but was the cheapest in this town at 150. Yellowstone access makes everything overpriced here, but this is the best of the least expensive
Gail at the front desk was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She helped us get an extra blanket for our son, and while doing that, she helped give recommendations for Yellowstone. She also was awesome with our 2 year old. He really liked her. Breakfast was great, too. Almost feels like you're at a sit down restaurant there. Room was very clean. Little bit pricey, but we absolutely loved it.

This is an excellent hotel with very nice rooms and a welcoming lobby. The suites are especially nice. The attached restaurant is a pleasant space with friendly service and good food (I like the Fandago Salad and the Chocolate Mousse Cake). They have a great breakfast too. It's probably a little too far to walk to downtown for most people.
First off the entire staff is amazing and very friendly. The hotel including the rooms are immaculate to say the least! This will be my second trip to Cody for the Christmas holidays and cannot wait.
Stayed here for 4 days. Very friendly staff all around. Had zero problems with our stay, plenty of parking, amazing restaurant, comfortable rooms. I think the worst part was the crowds in Cody, thought tourist season was over but it wasn't and also heard it was the beginning of hunting season.
A modern Inn indeed. The most comfortable bed on our nine night trip. Excellent service, safe environment, plenty of parking. Breakfast was worth the small price in a real restaurant attached to the inn. Postcards can be mailed from the lobby.
We enjoyed everything about this hotel. It's very fancy. (Nicer than most places we've stayed, including Las Vegas, Denver, St. Louis.) The check-in was easy. Our welcome, from the desk clerk was warm and inviting. He knew the answers to our questions and was genuine with his responses. Our room was beautiful. Thank you, for this respite during our travels.

June 10-12, 2022. Rooms were decent size. Staff was friendly, and the location was ok. Parking could have been better. Definitely a small family owned hotel. It was all we needed for our stay. We stayed here to be close to Yellowstone.
Rooms were clean but small. Chairs were not very comfortable for me. AC worked fine. Toilet was very tiny and not comfortable to use. Beds were comfortable...I slept great. Girl at the checkout was very friendly and helpful with advice on town events. Overall a good small town hotel. Just remember to call the hotel for walk-in prices before booking online. Would have saved me some $.

K3 was the biggest positive surprise of our vacation to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. We stayed at several outstanding places on this trip but Jerry’s ranch surpassed them all. Great place to stay! Beautiful scenery and great location just outside of Cody. Our stay in the cabin with our dog was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and Jerry and his family were great company. Overall it was our family’s favorite place to stay on our trip out west!
Most amazing experience we could have asked for in WY. Mr Jerry, Mrs Betty and their daughter are incredible. Beds are comfy. Plenty of room and breakfast was just perfect. Mr Jerry told us really good stories and dad jokes, cant go wrong with that. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back!!!
HIGHLY recommend K3 ranch! It was my family’s favorite stop on our Yellowstone trip. Our cabin was roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Kids were able to run around and play. Breakfast, company, and coffee were delicious in the morning, my husband is still talking about it, and he’s picky ;) It was perfect! Thank you for a memorable stay!
