Stayed there last night...8/27/2023. Great hotel and staffing! I wish you had more walking areas to see local shops. I felt like all we did was walk through parking lots outside of the hotel and saw no other venues there.I suggest that you attend the next Erie planning commission meeting and push for a friendly area to walk in in your area.
Over the weekend my family and I visited the Bayfront Grill, located on the pier in Erie, Pa. Our service from start to finish was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Our server, Brandy was phenomenal. Attentive, humorous and went over and beyond to assist every and all our needs. Will definitely recommend and most assuredly will be back!!
The location is very nice since it's right on the bay and close to a lot of other fun things to walk to. My issue was with the device and rooms. After staying for the first night, no one came to clean our room or give us towels so we called to ask and they said they didn't have us on a list to clean but we never said we didn't want it cleaned. So they said they would send someone up. No one ever showed...
The room was decent, The part I like was the bathroom was a bit spacious. I do not like that you can't hook up to the TV as the remote has no way of changing to HDMI, the TV did have enough channels to find something. The cost for the room was high for really nothing extra inside it. All I felt like I got was the view of the bay. The pool and whirlpool were nice. The staff was excellent. Our fridge...
Going for a short weekend trip with the family. When we arrive at the lobby, we got a very warm welcome from the front desk lady, I believe her name is Lilian. She is very nice and doing the check in process for us and also go over the hotel restaurant option as well. Room are clean and most importantly is the bay view, the view is amazing to look at the Lake Erie. Overall, it was a very good experience...
The staff was great and very mindful of our presence. The view we had was also great. We loved the pool too as not too many people were there. The manager on duty checked on us even while we ate dinner at the restuarant.

We had adjoining rooms that were an added convenience. Our reason for being in Erie was the Tall Ship Festival. We could see the Ships from the windows in our rooms. We were swimming in the infinity pool Saturday evening. Several Tall Ships came up very close to the pool. We took some awesome pictures. On Sunday morning, we sailed on the Lettie G. Howard and actually helped to "Raise the...
Had our wedding reception here. We were disappointed in the catering. Wedding cake was smashed by kitchen staff. Chicken undercooked and potatoes in potato salad were not cooked at all. Lots of issues. After complaining, Marriott made things right by taking money off of food bill. They offered my wife and I a free 2 night stay with a credit for dinner on them. We did go back and enjoyed our stay. Dinner...
Nice place to stay. Front desk a little stand offish but will help. Frequently very busy with large events. I've had better rooms at regular Courtyards. My upgraded suite did not have coffee maker or very much room. Coffee downstairs was expensive. Swimming pool overly packed, over stated limits. Public bathrooms good be cleaner. However, great views and close to Presque Isle.
This hotel is a hidden gem. We live in Buffalo New York and had no idea all of the great things to do in the area and everything started with this hotel. The location is fantastic. Right on the bay so the views are top notch. There is a restaurant on site so we ate most of our meals there. The infinity pool though not huge had breathtaking views. The fishing around the hotel was great I think we...
Very limited menu. Walleye was good. Only side was brussell sprouts which i like but major salty. Side salad was sad and not included. This is a Marriott. Come on folks. You should be embarrassed.
Beautiful Lakeview room with a comfortable bed, large couch, and plenty of desk space for working. Very modern a esthetic and everything was extremely clean. The lobby has a nice bar and a restaurant with an accommodating staff that took the time to remember my name and made sure I had everything I needed.

The room was very comfortable, breakfast options were great, and bonus...24/7 fruit juice, tea, coffee, hot water or chocolate available.
Destiny at check-in is delightful and helpful. Location is great. Right near a main interchange. Room is nice. Bed is awful! King size that dips in the middle. Spouse and I kept rolling to the middle. Made for not restful sleep.
The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and let me know everything I needed. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good; fresh fruit would have been appreciated. There were plenty of plugs and usb ports. The shower head was high enough (some aren't for me) but the pressure was a little low. Overall very nice and we would stay here again.
From staff to cleanliness, they have it covered! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy with the best pillows you can get. They have a indoor pool, and a mini gym. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate is 24/7! They take there image of looking clean and smelling clean from the moment you walk in the door. Front desk is a wealth of knowledge on things to do and place to get the best food.
Everything about our stay was great. We had a King room which was spacious and clean. I decided I needed a blanket and the front desk had a supply. The breakfast was good also with eggs and sausage along with other offerings. They had a machine that made pancakes as needed.
Check in and Check out were quick and easy. Hotel offered free buffet breakfast and had plenty of options to satisfy all our needs. Hotel near highway exit and very close to many restaurant options. Beds were very comfortable and room was clean. Pool and exercise room easily accessible on first floor near elevators. Used 15K points for room, so cannot comment on price for a stay. Only downside was...

Surprisingly good experience. Breakfast was ample, room was clean & nice to be connected to splash lagoon. Don't expect high quality, it's a 2-3 star hotel. But for the location, the cost, and the ability to get into splash lagoon one hour early, I would definitely recommend and stay there again. Enjoy!
Perfect place for the splash lagoon water park. The room was clean, good breakfast and the staffs are helpful, friendly and respectful. Especially Destiny B. at the front desk she was very helpful to me and my family. She was happily to let us switch a different room so that my kids could stayed on the same floor their cousin and friends. Last but not least Chuck of the front desk (at night) he is...
Great location for our splash lagoon stay. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was AMAZING and convenient. Perfect breakfast hours and enough seating and food for the packed hotel stay . Although hotel room had dirty ceiling like something got spilled and splashed up and not cleaned, empty soda bottles in chair and hair on sink. The appearance was stunning
I felt the staff were all very nice and helpful. The hotel is very outdated and could use a lot of repairs. In our room alone the wall paper was peeling off, carpet was incredibly worn, grout in bathroom was coming out and the door hatch was broken. It’s very nice that they provide breakfast and pool was also a nice area.
Me and my wife just got married this past weekend and we had no better place that was fun and affordable for our budget and has a splash lagoon connected to it. We also wanted to thank the management for getting us in early but helping us have a great stay. The manager was so nice and cared deeply for this establishment and we couldn’t be more thankful the pool was great and I recommend the breakfast...
This was a spur of the moment decision for me and my family. I called to make sure the whirlpool was working in the room I chose online. Asked if I could check in after 10pm. Both were, yes. We grabbed some clothes and swimming gear and left. 3 hours later we were there and enjoying ourselves. The breakfast was great, room was clean, hallways and common areas clean and smelled good. Always a great time staying here. Rooms are nice and recently refreshed. It seems that some rooms have two large TVs — I only ever use one but I’m sure multiple guests in a room might find they useful (maybe?). Hotel is in a great location — right next to Interstate 79 and all around Erie’s big-box retail area, and not far from Presque Isle and Downtown Erie. Morning breakfast options are good with...
I love love love this hotel. It's in a really great location. The pool is very nice but super cold. The 24 hour coffee n tea is amazing. The staff is amazing.... I would have given this room a 5 stars except we found a bug in our room. A ant or two is normal and i really try not to complain especially since everything else was great. But this bug looked like a roach. It's going to be. Very hard...
Love the location. Near the mall but back by itself. And only a few minutes from Presque Isle. Everything seemed very clean, even in the bathroom. The only thing that could have been cleaner is the pool area, especially the floor. The elevators need to have something other than carpet, because they didn’t smell the greatest. Nice, updated rooms and bathrooms a plus. Friendly workers who are welcoming...
Very satisfied with our stay from check in to our unfortunate unexpected early departure, we had a family emergency and Jamie Popeski was more than accommodating to our needs. We often come to Erie to visit my wife’s family and stay in a hotel. From now on, this will be where we stay. Aside from unbeatable service, we found our room to be exceptionally clean and the pool to also be well maintained...
I asked if i could get fresh towels, remove garbage and hair conditioner and was told that after 3 days, its automatic that this will happen, it never did. I will complain tomorrow as i check out.
It was my first date of Spring Hill not my first choice I prefer other Marriott properties dislocation being Erie is good I found a bit soft and not to my liking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was okay like most other Hotels.

One of the beds had hair and dead bugs from the previous customer, and the quilt on the other bed had menstrual blood from an unknown customer. The room is big with plenty of space. The towels provided are few and the pillows are cheap. Around 9-10 am, I was urged by the cleaning staff to leave the room quickly because they had to clean (check-out time is 11 am), I couldn't understand why the seemingly...
This hotel was well maintained. We were in town for two nights to celebrate our friends wedding and it was adequate for our needs! Clean. Spacious. The staff was friendly. The only negative was the inability to accommodate side by side rooms for us and the rest of our party. Though, they were able to at least keep us on the same floor!
This hotel had a large, clean, comfortable (and cool on a HOT Summer day) room for me to sleep 12 hours in after a long day outside. Convenient location, right off the 90, across from casino AND a great breakfast buffet with free coffee all day. The desk and dining staff were professional, proficient and personable. The price was right at just about $100 with taxes on a Thursday night. I'm definitely...
The staff was very helpful. Sara, Kyle, and Samantha at the front desk were all great! The handicap rooms with 2 queen beds do not have a roll in shower so be prepared for a low bathtub and shower chair. We were late rising in the morning and the cleaning staff was very pleasant about still servicing our room. Very convenient location to go to the casino.
Had to book a room on short notice due to getting caught in a snowstorm, and they were super accommodating. The suite was gorgeous and very spacious, which was ideal because we have 2 small children. Desk staff were incredibly helpful, giving us local recommendations for carry out places still open in a blizzard. Only downsides were that the included breakfast was just ok, and the snowstorm knocked...

Under renovation but the section we stayed in was fine. The front desk and registration area is in bad need of an update. I would have started with that area as it is the first impression area. There are doors that...
Stayed here on short notice and was satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, a little out dated, but they are doing renovations. The front desk person was very welcoming and gave us a tip on where to eat dinner. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The kids loved the pool and I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub! Would stay here again!
First time staying here. Pretty nice place. Definitely needs updating, furniture is dated, but everything was clean. The pool & hot tub was really nice, staff that we encountered was nice. There was renovations going on but it didn't cause any issues. Breakfast was good. My only 2 complaints are the tiny bathroom, the door barely cleared the toilet when opening it, but the water pressure was awesome...
My room didn't smell clean and the style of the carpet made it feel sticky. The beds weren't bad, although I've experienced better. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature: it was warm enough to walk right in, but cool enough to feel like a pool. There is a small deep end for jumping in. However, the hotel staff seemed to have difficulty in restocking the pool towels. They almost always were...
Beautiful facility and friendly staff! Great rates great stay! The in house restaurant is nice as well! Extremely pleased with our choice! We are planning our next stay!

Nice clean hotel, lots of parking, great food nearby, pool is always warm and clean. Hot tub and sauna always working, soft towels.
Great place! clean, roomy and comfortable. Front desk was very pleasant and even laughed at my jokes. 1st time stay and falling in love with the place. My only gripe is the lack of ceiling lighting in the room.
We chose the Ambassador Atrium to get married in and couldn't be happier with our choice. The room looked gorgeous for both our ceremony and reception, the catering was excellent, and their wedding coordinator, Callie Ogden, was integral in making our day perfect. She answered all of our questions thoroughly without losing patience and ensured everything ran smoothly leading up to and on our special...
This place was very attentive. When we made it to our room, they called up to see if we were ok or needed anything. Food area and bar for a night cap. Very enjoyable evening. Would totally stay here again if driving through PA.
Super impressed with this place. Everything is very clean. The room was much larger than we expected. The pool was wonderful - it even had a small wading pool with a mushroom-like fountain for small kids (we have 2). In addition to all of these wonderful things, you could see it from the expressway which made it super easy to find and yet you could not hear the expressway from the room (and we had...

swimming oool. breakfast on weekdays. staff amazing. welcome soup and salad in weds was lovely welcome.
We love this hotel because of the 2 bedroom suites and it's dog friendly. We've stayed here multiple times since 2019. Staff is always pleasant. Breakfast is amazing. Room cleanliness could be worked on. I usually have to wipe the kitchen down and sometimes the bathroom floors. That's the only negative, and one time the fire place didn't work. Which my niece loves.
We brought the grandkids for a weekend of swimming and fun. We never stayed at a Hilton before and probably won't again. If you don't mind the hotel not being the cleanest, then this is your place.
Staff were incredibly friendly. They work hard to make sure the place stays clean. The front desk help was very friendly. Grills were in excellent condition. Pool and workout equipment were very clean. Bre and the other staff at the front desk helped our group for the two weeks we stayed. The front desk staff were really welcoming. There was another staff member who helped bring us cups later in the...
We had a long drive to Erie PA due to road closures and fog and heavy rain. When we reached the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with friendly night staff who helped us settle into our room. Breakfast in the morning was good and the staff had a nice smile and was attentive to...
Overall the stay was nice and the service was good. My family and I stayed in a suite for three days while we visited the area. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. The carpeted section of the floor was so dirty that it turned your feet black if you walked around barefoot in the room. My family enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. I would stay again, but hope the carpets get cleaned soon

Great place to stay while in Erie. Location nice and central on main highways and across from splash lagoon if that's your type of thing. Rooms were clean and updated. Bed and pillows comfortable and black out blinds ensured good sleep. From desk ladies were kind as could be - those two deserve a serious raise. Pool nice and warm. Great value stay.
This hotel was great. Everything was clean, easy and quick check-in. Everyone was really friendly. We were here for a hockey tournament and the staff was so accommodating and sweet. Clean and best price in the area! Great location to splash world and restaurants, gas and main highway 90. Tall Gent at the front desk help us out tremendously last night with supplies check in and layout of area. Pool was put but great setup gym was good enough for a quick burn. Hot tea/ coffee and cookies all night in lobby. Slight dog odor in elevators but overall great stay
I was pleasantly surprised by this Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great; it is near many restaurants. It is right in the middle of where the Pizza Bomber event happened, if you followed that. The price was not bad at all for the rooms, which were nicer than expected. Overall, this is a great location to stay if you are in Erie!
I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Erie during a recent business trip - the staff are excellent and very welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable, and made my stay/work very easy. Up until I got to this hotel, our entire day was a complete disaster. The associate (Tony) at the front desk, not only got us a room, he listened to me vent about the events leading up to our spontaneous check in. The room was just what we needed and the accommodations were perfect. We requested to stay 2 hours over checkout because of the flight hours and the hotel was very accommodating. Thanks...
I think this is a decent hotel. I got a little nervous reading some of the reviews but in my opinion, they may have been a little exaggerated. One review said there is bed bugs, my husband and I are neat freaks and checked intensely in our 1 bedroom whirlpool suite, and did not find anything. The staff are friendly but the hotel is definitely a little older. There was a little bit of a musty smell...
I brought my group sew great tours to this location. I had 48 people to please and all were thrilled with this hotel. We had a 9 day trip to New England and this by far was the nicest hotel. The hotel is clean, secure and the staff put it over the top. Everyone is short staffed these days and the bar tender was literally running from table to table serving food and drinks to a full bar. Well done! My staff and I enjoyed our small group get together and no one had any complaints. The breakfast was fresh and well attended for any needs you had.
Honestly expected a little more. The Hilton Garden Inn ERIE PA Was rated pretty highly and the nightly room cost was on the above average side when it comes to cost vs some of the other hotels in the area. We enjoyed our stay so much we added a day. Room was a little dated but better than most. Biggest issue was housekeeping banging on door too early. Then they didn't even clean the room! Management corrected the issue and gave us a discount so all was well.
We were so impressed with our stay! The rooms were great - clean and spacious- and the hotel was nicely maintained. We stayed and got snowed in and the staff were fantastic at accommodating our need for another night! The workers worked so hard to get all the parking lot cleared quickly and we were just so impressed with the hospitality. Will definitely be back!

Decent place. Rooms need updated or remodeled or something. Good place for the price. Shuttle to the casino so that's a plus. Nice staff and breakfast was surprisingly good. Noise was an issue as we could hear everything outside the room that was going on. As long as thete are no idiots outside your room at midnight, screaming at each other, you should be good.
Great breakfast free to guests. My wife and I are accustomed to dry, lack luster continental. They have eggs and sausage plus all the normal carbs we're used to seeing. Great little bar/restaurant on site too.
Location was great close to where we needed to go. Housekeeping was poor one day they never came the next they threw covers up on bed and cleaned nothing. Door stuck which made it hard to open and close fire hazard.

It was great except that bacon not sausage would have been better. I also didn’t see any tea . Their also were some guests that were taking food that we knew they wouldn’t eat and then would come back and get more. Some workers saw this and I am sure they didn’t know what to say . But it was blattenly noticeable. It wasn’t right.
I cut my hand on a jagged piece of tile in the pool and it bled pretty profusely, but other than that I had a great time!
We came into town at 1 am weary and tired. Finding a pet friendly place in town was a night mare. Econo Lodge was more than accomodating. Yes it looks like they are updating and some things are dated but the staff are all awesome and friendly. Thank you Econo Lodge for helping us out.
My daughter and I have stayed here 5 times in the last 2 years when we visit Splash Lagoon. It is right across the street and WAY cheaper than the hotels connected to it. Pool, hot tub and very good Continental breakfast. I highly recommend it. Staff is very pleasant too.
I've stayed here many times. The staff is very friendly. There's a lot of places to eat & shop nearby. I travel with a pet & this is a pet friendly hotel. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The lobby is comfy. There's a really nice pool, whirlpool & sauna. Some of the carpeting in the hallways is stained but but most of it is ok.

Enjoyed a great nights sleep. They are currently updating this hotel. New carpet and the rooms are well appointed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice staff. Would definitely return.
We got a free upgrade to a king room which was nice. Rooms are tiny but comfortable and clean. Staff was responsive and friendly. The third floor is renovated. Nice update on the bathroom but there's no shelf at all in the shower to put shampoo and soap on. Overall a convenient place to stay and decent place for the money. Ask for extra towels. Only 2 sets.
Awesome stay! We were just passing through on a cross country road trip and Nisch the hotel clerk was very welcoming. He even upgraded our room to a brand new king size bedroom. The hotel is under construction but the new rooms are worth it! The room is a little small but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and room were very clean. Average hotel breakfast. Staff members were all friendly and accommodating. Under construction which creates narrow hallways. Breakfast area was clean, fully stocked, and had warm/cold options available. Worth the price. Room decent size. Slept comfortably.

Myself and my wife stayed for approximately two months due to a fire at our residence. I find it appalling that people get on here and bash the hotel, it's staff and condition. We we're very pleased with our stay. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Anytime we asked to have a cleaning done or towels or anything it was done within a few hours at the most. Noise was never an issue and we were directly...
I like that this hotel is nearby attractions for my kid. I'm a big Hilton Fanboy and this hotel did not disappoint. I've been going to Hilton properties for over 20 years and I like the fact that I can bring my own food to this hotel and cook it in the room because it comes with the kitchenette. Some parts of the hotel felt a little bit run down but still was a good experience. The front desk was extremely...
Enjoyed our stay. Spacious comfortable rooms that were very clean. Bed was fairly comfortable but not like home. My son was on a pull-out couch and had no complaints. The bathroom was more clean than most hotels. And the shower was a very relaxing experience! The kitchenette in the rooms was a nice touch with a 3/4 size, fridge, microwave, sink, even a dishwasher! Nice to have even if you don't use...
Nice hotel. Pet friendly. But smelled like dogs. Later at night there was no parking we had to park at a near by hotel and walk to Home2 .Early morning depart they had no take with cups for coffee for our long drive home. Overall our room was nice.
Stayed for one night. Common areas look really nice and modern - they have grills, a pool, nice outdoor areas! There's a few restaurants nearby. I had a handicap room so I'm not sure if all rooms are like this but it was HUGE. Except all the furniture was regular room Furniture so it just felt super weird and expansive. I could do four whole cartwheels in the room which is insane! The chair in my room...
Excellent choice for business and pleasure travelers. The rooms are clean, modern and well laid out. The beds are comfortable (not so soft you wake up with a sore back). Rooms have every you need to make your own meals, you can even borrow a hot plate from the front desk! Facilities are excellent, there is complimentary laundry machines (great for the light packer). The fitness center has a full...

For Erie, you're not going to get any better view or place for downtown. It's a bit pricey but, it's the nicest hotel in Erie (city). It's pretty nice inside and out. Rooms were always clean and had all the toiletries. Room service is, kind of expensive. It's decently fast and thorough. I'm poor and cheap, I did like my stay here. I just can't afford it. I live in Erie anyways. I would recommend.
Where to begin? First some positive: check in was smooth. Good parking. Friendly staff. Negative: the lounge and restaurant are closed. Brochure for the motel had not been updated. Homeless people and drug dealers at the front of the hotel. Our room phone and coffee makes did not work. All in all a huge disappointment. Not work the $166 we pain
Honestly, I wanna start by saying the reviews are very very misleading. Our stay was beyond amazing. The customer service is above and beyond, whether its getting extra towels or needing plates for dinner they were super helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location and parking is located in a garage which was safe. I was super scared when I read the reviews so I decided they deserve an honest review...
We loved Rickie at the front desk! She was so kind and welcoming, definitely a breath of fresh air after traveling and getting in late! Wish they had a hair dryer, but certainly wasn't any reason for a a bad review! 😉 We have no complaints about our visit and will stay again!
Not a bad place to stay, literally in the middle of downtown Erie. I stay here a few nights out of the month when traveling for art shows and would recommend. Staff is great, rooms are a little outdated but are clean and spacious. Beds are pretty comfortable as well. The hotel is only 2-5 minutes away from all of the bars while walking.
The room was fine. The TV was not. Fuzzy analog cable. Bed was comfortable. Street noise was not bad. I had a good sleep. I would do again but TV has to be better.

Clean room, amongst the best for this chain! New furnishings, older building. Well maintained! My room was in the back, so I can't speak to the freeway noise level. Megan at the desk, was really sweet and efficient!
The room was very modern and clean. I LOVED that it didn't have carpet. It made the whole place seem cleaner and nicer. We stayed on the side away from the freeway and it was very quiet. My only issue was not enough towels but one word to the housekeeper and we had more than we needed. Excellent service.
The room was way better than expected. It was clean, nice and cool. Had a double room with two double beds directly in the front, right next to the office and traffic and it was still fine. All staff was friendly especially housekeeping.
It’s a red roof inn next to a very busy highway. For $80-100 is exactly what you’d expect. A quick place to sleep and leave. Beds were meh, shower pressure was very high is my room but the other part with us said there’s was basically low and impossible to clean with so very inconsistent there. Rooms were mostly clean. Definitely need repainted, bathrooms need better vent system because 1 shower and...
The standard King size room had no microwave or refrigerator, had to pay $5 more to upgrade! Overall the room was ok for the price and free McDonald’s breakfast in the morning!
Rooms are nice, bathrooms are a little small but at least there clean. There's a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator in the room, so that's a plus. I only wish it had an elevator, I have trouble walking so getting up stairs was a little difficult. I, also, wish there was a tv guide in the room, perhaps that could be a suggestion for their future guests. All in all, it was quiet...
