Estes Park, 333 Wonderview Avenue 🧭 Map
We stayed here for the annual Murder By Death concert and it was fantastic! Of course the concert was amazing but the hotel was beautiful and made the experience that much better! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Absolutely stunning view of the mountains! All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The whiskey vault downstairs in the hotel had a great selection of single barrel whiskeys...
A local that stopped by for a day visit. The area is gorgeous. Even though we were there off of tourist season and on a weekday, it was still packed. Coffee was great! The Gardens were also gorgeous! Overall the staff were extremely friendly and down to earth, seemed like locals as well! I would recommend timing a stay or visit outside of peak hours, however the history and architecture will be in...
I may need to rewrite this experience when I actually stay at this hotel, but it is a charming hotel. The staff definitely plays on the Hollywood experience and the paranormal. This is, by far, one of the more successful paranormal. If you are interested in film, and spiritual lore, this is the perfect place. There is a lot to engage in. There is a fun whiskey room with lots of bottles for purchase...
They Stanley was a great hotel. We stayed there for the haunts obviously but the area is gorgeous too. There is hiking nearby and shopping too. The wine bar is amazing for sitting out and enjoying a glass while enjoying the scenery and the servers are great. Carrie knew her wine and was so nice and friendly. I couldn't decide what to order and she made great suggestions and let me sample them to decide...
We stayed at the main hotel for 2 nights last summer in July, second floor (larger) room, and it was so comfortable. There was a large portable AC unit, an armoire, TV and a king-size bed....no complaints. Exploring the grounds was enjoyable, especially the little hidden areas. We did the Historical Tour, not the Ghost Tour, but the history tour had some of the ghost stories in it as well. I liked...
This was a bucket list adventure for me and the Stanley Hotel didn't disappoint! It is a gorgeous historical hotel and very haunted... Definitely give it a try or come for the ghost/ historical tour!

Overall we were very disappointed with being charged an amenity fee: (1) The hot tub was broken (main reason we wanted to stay at The Ridgeline). (2) Other amenities did not apply to us. (3) Breakfast was listed as part of the nightly fee. We were offered drink coupons at the bar for our trouble but bar options were also cheap and limited. Breakfast was very minimal. Room, parking, lobby, and overall...
I would give it a 3.75. Room was spacious and very clean. In fact, the housekeeping staff here was constantly visible and working hard. All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Restaurant is sparse but the food was good. Bartender Edward was very personable and made me perhaps the best old fashion I've ever had. Good job Edward! So why the 1.25 star deduction? Only one reason...the pillows...
Great hotel right at the Eastern Gate to the Rockies. So much to like about the hotel: * green features in bathrooms and recycling bins in rooms and at exit points * station to fill up water bottles * lovely coffee and tea set-up at entry * wonderful front desk staff - very welcoming and inclusive * rooms in top notch condition * large comfortable rooms - perfect to relax in after a day outside ...
Great hotel! Looks like they are doing a big renovation. Can't wait to see the final product the next time I'm in town. My room wasn't renovated, but still nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque in the restaurant. You dont want to miss that!
What I appreciate about this hotel is that it's still standing, but has reinvented itself. Sure, it's not perfect, but the rooms are cozy and the in-house coffee bar had great coffee in AM. In true spirit of the hotel, the five-minute shower timer, yoga mattes and bulk soap in each room were a nice touch. A breath of fresh air for the eco conscious visitor.
still under construction, but all the updated stuff looks great! the beds were extremely comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious, and even had vegan options! we'll definitely be back

Rodeway Inn Estes Park
Estes Park, 1701 North Lake Avenue 🧭 Map
Met expectations. Ample hot water and a nice shower, nice fixtures and good pressure. Bed was comfy, pillows were fine. Continental breakfast is NOT free, costs $10. Staff was very nice. Restaurant where you check in is very good. Somewhat expanded selection of TV channels. Building a little run down but wasn't a big deal to us given the good price.
TOTALLY NOT worth the price. The photos are deceptive. Also, this hotel is undergoing some renovation and the whole place is literally a construction site. Don't come.
Everything about the stay was average. The interior is quite outdated throughout the hotel and pool area. The rooms were very standard, but our had a nice patio on the second floor. The free breakfast in the morning has a number of items and is pretty good. Overall this hotel was quite expensive for it's age. We'd try another hotel next time we're in town.
Update: Truly enjoyed my stay. The Rodeway is proof that budget hotels can still be comfortable. The staff was great, lots of choices at breakfast. I’ll definitely remember them the next time I’m in Estes Park. Booked a room and then immediately realized that I had the wrong date. Amber helped me out and was absolutely amazing. The staff is A++!

Great room with a balcony and a brilliant view. The breakfast was good with very attentive staff, in fact the staff were brilliant overall.
The hotel is not far from the Rocky mountain state park and well located in the main avenue. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The room price includes breakfast which was overall good.
My wife and 4 children just left today to head back to Minnesota after a 4 day stay here. We booked because of the separate rooms for the kids on the 3rd floor. Being outside the entire day we thought this would be a good place to just “land” every night. It was an awesome stay. We were greeted by Betty at 11pm and she was the sweetest. She even offered to pack our breakfast every morning before we...
Our stay was a last-minute, very quick overnight for my wife and myself, and this property was great. The staff was friendly and even packed us a breakfast because we were leaving before their breakfast opened. The bed was comfortable and they even had flat-pillow options. Everything was clean and quiet.
The Quality Inn has everything you'll need for your stay in Estes -- clean, comfortable rooms (with great views!), hot breakfast to start each day, a small fridge & microwave in each room, and friendly & accommodating staff. We booked a block of rooms for our wedding earlier this summer, and I'm so glad we did. Each of our guests had great things to say and appreciated the location and the amenities...
Large spacious rooms with friendly staff (Jeff was so nice!). They even shoveled snow away from my car after it snowed a few inches overnight before checkout! Breakfast in the morning had a good variety including 3 kinds of waffles (regular, banana nut, and cinnamon).

Love the location it's a quick walk to the stores. The view was fantastic, and the staff were all friendly, will absolutely be staying again.
We worked with Silver Moon Inn to set up a room block for our April wedding. Dylan was our point person, and they were easy to communicate with and professional. Our guests were pleased to be within walking distance to sights and stores in town. They were also within walking distance to our welcome party at a brewery in town. We highly recommend working with Silver Moon Inn for wedding guest blocks
I stayed here for 2 nights and I have zero complaints. Very friendly people at the front desk, pop corn and smores available in the evening, nice room (with a tv and wifi), an actual ac unit in the room, towels that felt new, a water bottle filter thing on the water fountain, coffee at all hours in the lobby... I've stayed at a nearby place and they have none of these things. I was very pleased. There...
This place was lovely. Very decent price, super clean hotel rooms. Super friendly staff. Really decent free breakfast/ snacks, Good checkout times. Wish we could have partook in the s’mores and nice looking hot tub, but not enough time to do everything in one night stay. Very close to the Main Street, beautiful river. I just wish the seats weren't packed in snow so I could enjoy sitting by the...
Hotel is beautiful (even under construction like most of Estes.) Fire pits and free s’mores were great for kids, as was the stream right outside your door. We loved the hot tub, too, and the proximity to downtown. The staff was sooo nice and helpful. Especially when the crazy storm moved in three days into our stay. Will definitely be back. Just bring a fan! Rooms get stuffy when you close the windows
The service was so wonderful. I really enjoyed the rooms.. clean cozy and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was ehhhhh but free. Will definitely be back. The location is above and beyond if you are interested in visiting the park.

I don't think I've ever been to a hotel with a view as stunning as this! Everyone we encountered from front desk staff to staff at the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and fit our needs perfectly, it could probably do with some updating but was fine just the way it was. And of course the view and location of this hotel is just perfect!
Fabulous place to stay. The view from our room was amazing! We came in not having a reservation, spur of the Moment decision and the staff went above and beyond to serve us and get us a great room. Staff at Dunraven was awesome as well. Went that next step to serve us.
Awesome location with fun things to do all around. We loved our room and view from the balcony. We saw the sunset and elk grazing. We walked the lake trail and just enjoyed the surrounding areas. The room was great with a cozy fireplace.
Great location, nice happy hour and fabulous meal @ the Dunraven. We had a wonderful time, however the room we had was certainly not worth the $480 that it cost. We were told lake front, we were at the end and had very little view of the lake, and the suite could have use some updating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Estes park resort. This place deserves a 5 stars because of the view! We stayed in a lower level king room which had a walkout to the lake! The room itself is very outdated, TV is old, and sink was falling down. However the front desk staff was helpful, view can't be beat, and we had a good night sleep so overall giving it a 5 stars.
The staff have been absolutely amazing; they are so genuine and kind. The view is unbelievable. The bed feels like sleeping on a could. The romance package combined with the king jacuzzi suite has blown us away. HIGHLY recommend.

Room was spacious, little dated, but functional. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other motels. There is plenty of outside area, playground for kids.
Murphy's was cute and the views of the valley were nice. Rooms were clean if somewhat dated, but it had a very lodge feel between the decorations and the multiple fire pits. If you are looking for a camping adjacent experience then Murphy's is for you.
From the outside Murphy's Resort appears like any other motel in the area; however, when you step inside you'll see it's not like any other. From the friendly and helpful staff to the beautifully updated rooms, this place does not disappoint. It's central location to Estes and the mountain views make it a great location. During our stay, we enjoyed using their bikes, and taking advantage of everything...
Fine option for the area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is quite basic. So is breakfast. The hotel does offer free DVD rental and bike rental. Hot tub and swimming pool are fun. So is the on-duty musician.
Great place that's kind of between camping and a hotel. It is close to Rocky Mountain National Park and is in a bit of a small tourist catering town. The resort has campfire pits, grills, a pool, hot tub, horse shoe pits, and other yard games so there is plenty of stuff to do after you get done with a hike etc and just want to relax in the evening with kids etc. I brought my daughter and it was...
Our group ended up staying at Murphy's for a week in 2 of their rental houses (Lake View and Summit View). It was a fantastic choice. Visited for a wedding. Maria and Javier were so welcoming and accommodating. This quaint spot on the mountains was perfect and very well kept. Would definitely visit again!
So loved the room , and the owners, the view was great, my only problems were solved. Just keep upgrading!!
Absolute detail in every way, it makes you feel as though you are in a five-star resort the innkeepers here are very attentive to absolute detail and needs from the very beginning to the end of your stay. Nestled in the Colorado Forest right outside of Estes Park absolutely beautiful in every way.
Incredible Hosts! Very welcoming two with great knowledge of what there is to get into around the area. Loved meeting their horses which are not there during the winter clearly. the Spacious bedroom and very clean bathroom always offers a great place to escape the busy life. Did I mention the incredible mountain they have in their backyard to hike?! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED X10!!!

Beautiful scenery and the hotel is full of charm and character. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely comfy bed and well equipped room.
I really did enjoy my stay here. I booked through Airbnb, and it wasn’t what I expected but still a nice place. It’s a historic building, very charming but also accommodating. The room was great and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, tv with cable, clean facilities, and a working coffee maker. The staff was also friendly and helpful. There’s even a space where you can check out movies and games...
Parking lot is small especially for large SUVs or trucks. Didn't try their Wi-Fi because AT&T cell service is great. Nice rooms. Free Laundry!! Cable TV. The attached restaurant is good too.
Great place to stay in Estes. Quick access to the town but still seems remote. They have plenty of accommodations and would be a great place for a celebration or wedding. Outdoor and indoor amenities. A bar, pool table, hot tub, giant chess set outside. The room is quaint and cozy abit dated tho. The building is older so you can hear your neighbors easily. The room was fine - large and a little bit rustic. The dining and bar were great. The location was incredible. The only real complaint was that the wifi was too slow to be able to do much. It might have been because our room was on the far end of the floor, but it was difficult to access Facebook or to stream Amazon.
When I arrived I was greeted immediately by the woman behind the front desk (wish I remembered her name!) and the gentleman she was training. They were both very kind and even offered me another room, as the one I booked was under the lodge’s restaurant and they had another available. This was very thoughtful, but I decided to keep the room anyway, and I’m glad I did. It’s spacious and homey. I didn...

Spacious room with a comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Good choice of breakfast. Friendly staff.
We had an excellent stay! Loved our room. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. They had nice snacks available with board games, pop corn and hot chocolate. Nice TVs in the room as well. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Hotel Estes is a cute place to stay! It is local and they took really good care of us there. The rooms were nice and clean and they were on top of everything. We ended up having to leave early due to bad weather that was going to put several inches of snow done and they were very accommodating to us. I would recommend them for sure!
We had a wonderful five-night stay at Hotel Estes. The mountain view from our large room was amazing. We enjoyed the recently installed hot tub. The continental breakfast was better than most, it included Starbucks coffee! The staff was very helpful. After much research, we are very happy with our choice!
Pleasant hotel in typical American country style. Nice spacious rooms with every comfort. A plus is that breakfast is included. It is served in the spacious lobby at the reception. The breakfast is varied, but there is no accompaniment, topping, such as ham or cheese. A minus is the architecture of the bathroom and toilet. The shower/bath is located in a small room with the toilet; the washbasin is...
Lovely and clean. Our room had 3 beds with no walls in between which was weird but not necessarily bad. Everything was super well cleaned and beds were comfortable. We’ve been traveling for 20 days around the US. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed at. It’s not elegant with big fancy entrances what it is it a very well maintained clean motel. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and fully equipped with a kitchen, coffee maker, reliable wifi, bed + sofa, etc.! The location was perfect for visiting the Rocky Mtn Ntl Park.
It was a fine enough place to stay. We had a very large truck and had to park it in the spot where you have to parallel park. Which is fine, except that if there’s a car parked in the spot behind you, you’ll spend at least 5 minutes making small turns to get out. Heaters worked, bathroom was fine, bed was nice. A little bit of the wall/trim was falling off in places and seemed to get worse everyday...
I would definitely recommend the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. It's been renovated recently and it's nice and clean inside. Great view of the Rockies from your front door. It was nice and quiet even though the hotel was full. It's on the west side of Estes, so it's really close to the park. I plan to return on our next trip.
Absolutely amazing experience!!! First time in Colorado and flying across the country to RMNP made for a late night arrival. They had everything ready for us including the keys. The room and bathroom were SO clean. Some of these lower star reviews I think are trying to compare this to a Hilton, but need to be mindful we’re in the middle of nowhere. all I need is a clean room and friendly staff and...
I only wish I’d found this play sooner! I absolutely loved my quick stay, the room was so nice and perfectly clean. It’s in a great location close to both the downtown area and a park entrance. If they hadn’t been booked up I definitely would have extended my stay another night and enjoyed that gorgeous balcony view. I’ll definitely be back and recommending Alpine Trail Ridge Inn to friends!
This is an excellent motel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's an older motel but the rooms have been renovated nicely. The bathroom was a little small but that wasn't a big deal. Clean, quiet and close to local services. We came up for a short break to snowshoe in the park, and were very impressed by our condo at Beaver Brook. Nice price too, and the kitchen was well equipped, which is not always true at other places.
No air conditioning in the units but it was cool at night so I see why they don't have it. We lived in England for 3 years with no air so know how to survive. Open windows at night, close up before it gets warm in early afternoon. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and there was a box fan in the closet. Cute little cabins right on the river. A little outdated but clean. Nice patios with grill, some even have private hot tubs on the deck. Also has a communal hot tub that is always empty. Walking distance to Nickys steakhouse which is amazing (recommend the prime rib)
We stayed 5 nights in the Queen Cabin. The grounds were great and the cabin was exactly as described! Full kitchenette was great to make breakfast and with location 5 minutes from park gate we were able to make picnic lunches… this was handy since the fine dining in Estes Park was worth it. My wife and I are already planning next years trip!
Great place. Stayed in the rooms across the bridge. Full little kitchen. Kids slept on the pullout couch. Very quite. Loved the river right out the front door. Elk showed up one day. Definitely plan on going back.
We stayed in a small creekside cabin type room. It was a little dated but I expected that. Very convenient to Rocky Mt. . The cabin was clean and the people are very friendly. The creek was beautiful. Nice place to hang out for a few days.
It's right over the river not too far off the road. The wildlife roams through The property. The front desk people were extremely polite. I got a queen suite(kitchen, living space, porch) It was clean. It is pretty outdated in the some of the cabins, the oven and dish washer being the worst in mine. The walls seemed a little thin as well. Wi-Fi didn't work and the water was super crazy on temperature

Room is super cute, roomy, and very clean. It’s right at the beginning of Estes Park main strip but set back enough that it’s quiet and peaceful. Our room had two rooms that were a bathroom and the other a closet area with another counter and sink. It was great!

Excellent location and very good facilities such as hot tub and swimming pool. Garrett and Ryan, who were working at the front desk were fantastic-very friendly and helpful during our stay.
the condo was very comfortable for a family of three, nice beds, nice bathrooms. kitchen was pretty well stocked to cook a thanksgiving meal.
A very large WorldMark Resort located on the river and very close to town. Very busy town during the summertime. Driving distance to the fantastically beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park.
Great place along small flowing river. Elk passing through the property when we registered. Very nice friendly women behind the desk. Fabulous hottub. Nice views. I can't say enough!
Nice place next to the river. Elk bear and deer all seen locally. Beautiful scenery. Pool and hot tubs are nicely done. Pool not too deep, hot tub is very large, and there are several more elsewhere on the property. The handicap unit is kinda weirdly done but does the trick. Easy access to the national park and all the local touristy activities. Very beautiful and nice weather in Aug.
By far my favorite Wyndham stay I've had the opportunity of spending time in. The views are breathtaking- including the mountaintops, sunset over the mountains, a babbling river, and wildlife. The hot tub was my favorite feature, a luxury after a long hike in the nearby park. Fresh popcorn was available in the lobby, a mail dropbox, DVD rentals, a computer, and a small store. There was also a bin...

Great reception, quiet location which is a short walk to town. The breakfast is small but perfect for a quick bite to eat to start your day. Staff were helpful and friendly.
We loved our stay at the Maxwell Inn! The location was perfect with it being a little off the beaten path but close enough to walk to the main shops for food and drinks. The hosts at the inn where so kind and helpful when we had questions about the area. I also appreciated how clean the rooms were! It felt much more comfortable than your standard hotel. Would highly recommend the Maxwell Inn for your...
Our experience with the Maxwell Inn was wonderful from making the reservations all the way to check out! The staff is friendly and helpful in answering questions for us. The room was so clean and the towels were the softest towels we have every had in a hotel. The location is awesome… on the edge of town so you could walk to many shops and restaurants, but still quiet with a country like feel. We...
Enjoyed our few nights here at the Inn. Location was perfect, walking distance to the downtown area but just far enough away that it was quiet and calm. Area felt very safe, even saw some elk around one morning! Complimentary breakfast was helpful for morning hikes. Nothing too crazy but a lot of good snacks. The room size was good for us two. Bathroom is a little small but worked well enough. Beds...
This is a great inn to stay at! The rooms were perfect for the price. The location is great. Just on the outskirts of town with a nice stroll by the river to get to the shops. We had an amazing stay. We used the hot tub and fireplace. The towels are super thick and soft! The only thing we didn't take advantage of was the breakfast bar. The receptionist is super nice and gave great suggestions on where...
This is the most wonderful Inn and only place I'll stay when I'm in Estes. The rooms are beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, self-sufficient with a kitchenette, large-screen TV, fireplace, everything I need to feel at home. The rooms are very quiet, the location is perfect - away from the tourists but close to town, just a few minutes walk. Fresh coffee and light breakfast in the morning in the...
