We we're there for a wedding. We have stayed there before 20 years ago. Not much different. It's just an older Holiday Inn. The room was comfortable. It was nice that their is a restaurant and a bar in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Winter weekends will be packed with families and the pool will be crowded. Get down to the pool early if you want a table. Staff was very good.

Excellent hotel!! Pool is perfect for kids, way better than most hotel pools! Rooms are clean and updated! I highly recommend the hotel bar and have an old fashioned from Ariel!!! Jesse the manager is tremendous. If you're looking for a hotel in Fargo this is your spot!

Our stay Thursday was great. They helped me get an early check-in. The room rate was so reasonable! Our kids had a blast in the pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked here. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the coffee shop just off the lobby.

We're here now. Just checked in and made our way to the room. The kids are already changed and in the pool. We are so thankful to just be out of the truck. Now we are going to order food and chill by the pool. Maybe a drink or two before dinner. Check in was smooth and we anticipate a great time here.

Had lunch at the Holiday Inn today and ordered the Steak Salad. It was fantastic. The portion size was large and the amount of steak was perfect. I loved the dressing and the greens were in good shape. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful since the remodel and our server, Al, was attentive and endearing.

Efficient in handling the large crowd. Our table for 10 was waiting for us. Waitress very efficient in handling our drink orders and caring for the table. Food efficiently prepared. But was disappointed in very few assortments of the main course. Pricing for this menu totally overpriced. Will not return to this type of menu.

Whenever we stay in Fargo this is our go to hotel. Nothing but amazing service and clean spacious rooms. We stayed on the 12th floor this time and had a beautiful view of the city. From the start, this hotel is a step up from some of the others closer to the mall. We had a large family vacation and needed to sleep 5 and we got a larger room with bunk beds. The room was very spacious and open. From the moment we got in and till we left I can say this was one of the my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in while visiting Fargo. The staff were great and I would highly recommend staying here. Watch your credit cards while here. My buddy reserved three rooms under his name for 2 nights for each room. We all put our room under our own card when we got to hotel. When we went to check out, they charged my buddy 5 times, myself twice and other other person didn’t get charged. They gave money back but it was a hassle. Has a bar with good drinks and casino.

Unless they plan on closing...they really need to modernize! The room I stayed in had bulbs burnt out, the heater made a terrific squealing noise and the toilet ran all night. It's like a version of the scary hotels you see in the movies.it use to actually be a nice place!

Overall our stay was fairly nice. The lady at the front desk was very prompt in getting everyone checked in when we were checking in. I really loved the hotel. The staff are attentive and respectful. The rooms are clean, and the furniture is situated very well, however indoor lights could be brighter. Nothing but a great experience. This was our second time at this location, first time was at the start of our trip out west. Came up from Minneapolis for a friends birthday bash. Was a great stay for myself and 7 year old. Had no idea there was an epic little pool area, which my son loved. For an older, (definitely needs some work and upgrades) it was very clean in the rooms and great staff. Ive had better continental breakfast, but still totally worth coming back!

Rooms were quite small. We used this for a family get together so had several pool side room. The staff was very nice, even left the pool open for an hour longer. All the kids had a blast, in the pool.

Great stay for a great price. The hotel offered rooms with a full kitchen and large bathroom with walk-in shower, for a great price. The hotel was quiet and clean, and offered a great breakfast buffet. The hotel staff were friendly and offered their services whenever needed. We had the pool and hot tub all ot ourselves! Location was easy to get to and close to lots of restaurants and the mall. I didn't have a pet with me but they do allow pets there which I'm fine with. They even had doggie treats at the front desk. The breakfast area was clean. The room was very nice and clean and roomy. I really didn't like the sliding door to the bathroom but that is a minor complaint/opinion.

The rooms were beautiful. They were clean, spacious, and well thought out. The beds were comfortable. This is the first hotel I've stayed at where the pillows don't make my neck and shoulders ache. The bathroom was clean and the shower head was fantastic. My only criticism was that there was no bath tub and as I was travelling with a child, that would have been ideal.

Front desk was very accommodating. The room itself was satisfactory, cozy feeling, not all white walls like some of the others. The mattress could be better, but wasn't uncomfortable. We stayed in a king accessible room and it’s one of the best we’ve seen. There’s an entrance right by the handicapped parking so we didn’t have to navigate the entire hotel with our luggage. The roll in shower was great. They layout of the room was well thought out and there’s a regular, comfortable chair to sit in. It’s also very near the pool and vending machines. Do not book this hotel for the pool or hottub. The pool was disgusting, and maximum depth is only 4 feet for like a foot width section. The hot tub was like sitting in a warm bathtub and the water sitting on the bench only goes up to your belly button. We went in there at 7:30 pm on a Monday. The room we had was spacious! I love it when the bedroom is separated from the living room. The bed was so comfortable! This hotel is located on a quiet side street, but located by a lot of businesses. You have all kinds of restaurants, shopping, movie theater all within walking distance (very drivable too)!

Hotel staff was pleasant but the room cleanliness was lacking. King side bed comforter had stains on it so we removed the cover. Wingate staff was so helpful!! I didn’t realize I had left my Bluetooth headphones at the room until I was at the airport hours later. They found them and offered to mail them to me the next day. This is a really nice place. The front desk people are right there. The rooms are clean. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a Holiday gas station. It is right off the highway for traveling.

I enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would change would have the room be more sound proof. I heard voices in the hall which distracted me and I did not feel comfortable putting on music or the tv in case others would be bothered by it.

Hot tub was not working- we specifically picked this location for the room type, hot breakfast, and jacuzzi. The coffee cups in our room still had lip stick on them. On our second night, we requested pillows and towels from the front desk and they were never brought to us.

Wonderful staff. Clean rooms. Well stocked breakfast area. Very quiet. I liked this place except for the furniture in the breakfast area. It is really worn and needs replacement. Don’t get me wrong. Stayed 3 nights at this location. Everything as expected for Marriott chain with customer service and quality rooms and breakfast. It is a great hotel. The breakfast is good and the pool is a nice way to relax after a long day. The service is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.

We were very impressed with the breakfast! Selection of fresh fruit, make-your-own pancakes and waffles. Bread was in individual zip-lock bags. The prep area by the toasters was a bit crowded, but manageable.

One of our favorite places to stay in Fargo. Just make sure to all that you don’t get room 229. It’s directly above the pool, and the pool doesn’t close till midnight. Plus, it’s across from the elevator. Other than that, a great breakfast for a hotel.

I think this hotel has a great location and nice rooms. The beds were comfy, clean room and just enough of what we needed. I did not like the hot tub and pool area. This hotel felt old and outdated. The bathroom was as small as I have ever seen in a Country Inn and Suites, with barely enough room to close the door in front of the toilet. The AC was about 20 years old and barely worked in the room. They had a TV with a remote but no guide or channel guide anywhere in the room or on the TV. I was expecting more from this hotel.

There are six floors and only 2 elevators. We were there for a new years eve wedding, and one of the elevators was shut down about half the time. The pool and waterslides we're awesome for kids, and the even center spaces were huge and accommodating for the whole bridal party when getting ready, hair/makeup, etc. The only issue we had was that it is a very long walk from the rooms/elevator or stairs...

Fantastic Hotel! We stayed 2 nights and it's close to everything. Complimentary beer wine and snacks in the early evening. Wonderful Continental Breakfast with the nicest lady preparing things. She made us feel like we were guests in her own home! We will be back!

Stayed 7 days here. The staff is awesome. I requested extra blankets, they brought them up to my room. The cable was out, through no fault of the facility, yet they called the cable company, and got it turned on that day. Awesome service.

Rooms were nice and clean. Entrance was a bit confusing to find, not really inviting. Check in was quick and easy, was a strong odor of misc smoke but nothing that overly concerned us. I understand why they have you sign a $300 no smoking in room disclosure. We will use them again.
