Wonderful staff, very clean! Prices are wonderful, the pool is great, you can also get rooms literally pool side, walk out of your room into the pool area. Has an arcade, a deli and literally a few seconds away from restaurants and Gettysburg park. Tons of paranormal sightings and stories in the area! So much fun. Highly recommend
The staff was super friendly and made for a great visit. From Kathy at the front desk who started our visit off. What a quick wit, we had a funny conversation that left us both laughing. Then the lovely older lady who prepares the breakfast, she's been there for a number of years and really made for a nice visit. The breakfast buffet was great by the way. The building is currently undergoing extensive...
Our room was nice. Had fridge and microwave. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Front end of staff was great very nice and easy to check in. We came down to eat breakfast at 955 and the lady was yelling at everyone to get out at 1005 saying she needed to clean. Very unprofessional. If I was the manager I would NOT ALLOW MY STAFF TO TREAT GUESTS THAT WAY. The hotel has a lot to offer. They had...
Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Beds were extremely comfortable. Great value for what you pay and hotel location is excellent when visiting Gettysburg. Complaints are no coffee in the lobby. Breakfast could have been better. Pool area could have been cleaner. Hot tub was not in working order when we visited. Also, go carts and lasertag only open on weekends.
Just outside of Gettysburg there are two hotels joined. The Eisenhower at first look seems rather drab but under the premis of getting a newly renovated room at such a low price with a sliding glass door leading to the pool, it was a no brainier. You walk in and the main entrance has been updated but you can still smell the mustiness of the hotel. We check in at the joining hotel and get our room....
Good place, currently they are remodeling the rooms and catching up on years of neglect. They are aiming to recapture their previous opulence. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. I’m looking forward to returning in October.

Great motel with large comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend staying here. Easy access to all there is to see.
Rooms were comfortable, water has good pressure and hot. Staff was very kind and helpful. Whirlpool/hot tub was warm at best. Breakfast buffet isn’t available when they say- arrived 1 hour after it started and everything had been cleared away even though there was several hours left on the sign. Would stay again, just be more prepared for weekday stays
Nicer than expected. Nice accommodations. Attended a conference. Food was good, but the person running the food service one evening would not replenish the desserts even though they had several racks of them in an open meeting room not being used. Friendly service at the front desk and at the small bar near the lobby.
The hotel has a cool theme with all the historical Americana decor. The room is good. The staff are well trained and attentive. The breakfast buffets at the hotel was not for me. I really enjoyed my stay. It was quiet in the room but my view was of the roof above the pool. And someone left a odd piece of trash out there.
Let me start out by saying the lobby area is BEAUTIFUL. My family and I were coming to Gettysburg after a horrible stay in Hershey (at a different hotel chain) so our expectations were low. This hotel blew us away. The greeting once up to the front desk was great..the woman helping me check in was amazing, kind and knowledgeable on the area. It was nice that they had the luggage carts right at the...
My stay was a very pleasant experience. Rooms are clean and the lobby area is nice. The customer service I received at the front desk from Morgan was absolutely the best. She was very professional and extremely nice. Morgan went above and beyond when I was checking in by referring where to dine and took my reservation on the spot so I didn’t have to make it online since I decided to stay in Gettysburg...

We stayed here for almost a week and we had the best time! The hotel was very clean, the front desk reception (I’m sorry I forgot your name, I think it was Tyler?) was extremely nice, helpful and went above and beyond and made our stay that much better. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable we spent time together just hanging out on the comfy couches and chairs. The restaurant while it doesn’t have...
Great stay at a Courtyard. We stayed there with minimal expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast in the bistro was tasty. Reception went above and beyond to recognize marriott status. It’s slight outside of Gettysburg but found it to be a super convenient.
OK, obviously this Marriott needs Some TLC starting to look rundown and things not being fixed for example, some of the fencing around the exterior of the property broke and would take seconds to make at least presentable. Also stepping off of the hotel elevator some of the tables you can see are deteriorating and falling apart. Rugs are gray and Dreary. Some of the windows need to be replaced as the...
Beautiful modern hotel, with the advantage of being surrounded by history. Rooms were very nice, spacious, well appointed and tended to. Lobby is welcoming and comfortable. While the little cafe was nice, for about the same money - go across the parking lot to the Wyndham, and get the breakfast buffet (they'll tell you the same thing, if you are looking for something more substantial than pastries...
I can not say much about the actual location of this hotel because I checked in late and was gone before 6am so I did not get a chance to check anything out but it is right next to the Gateway Theater which is very convenient! The Room was large and clean. So was the bathroom. It was just me staying so there were plenty of pillows (3 on each bed). The air conditioning was nice and cool and TV worked...
I’d say 6 stars! John warmly welcomed us on Sunday Jan 8 at 10 pm. Gave us an amazing rate and the room was perfect quiet and clean (318) and we were able to enjoy the pool before close at 11. Sound sleep. We checked out the next morning but wanted to stay another day. John also gave us a 5 minute debrief about the city’s incredible and relative history and on a well appointed map showed us what to...

The staff were excellent and friendly, especially Diego. I've stayed there once before and to be honest I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go to Gettysburg.
The rooms were clean and comfortable but dated. The breakfast was very small and the same thing every day. If staying one or two nights that's fine but after that a change would be nice. Coffee all day in the lobby is great! I would stay again because of the price but would like a little more updated place.
I like to give my disabled person's point of view, I travel alone. I use an electric mobility scooter and when I tried to get into the place, I couldn't open the door while driving my scooter through. Some doors are are a little too heavy or have a "spring-back" action to close.... I had to sit there. I couldn't get anyone's attention inside, couldn't use my phone as it wasn't accessible, my overnight...
Scrolling through these reviews, I feel several of the low star ratings were left for the wrong hotel. Days Inn Gettysburg was amazing! The staff was all so friendly, the breakfast was great. We loved how they offered four waffle makers so there was never a wait. I am a very picky person. This hotel was extremely clean. The lobby was clean, the staff is all well groomed and well dressed. The pillows...
Service was fine, room was not well cleaned, breakfast was very sparse. Beds were comfortable. Not what I expected for the price.
Excellent Hotel. Breakfast is included in the daily price. Breakfast had a lot to offer. Choices were, pancakes, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, juice , and 4 cereal choices.

Would not recommend staying at the hotel. When we asked for something extra for our room an employee made a rude remark to us twice, the beds were probably the most uncomfortable I had slept on at a Hampton Inn, during breakfast there was a loud high pitched humming noise that was going off for over 15 minutes off and on, the business center was one computer by the main door, and one of the elevators...
Our first visit to this hotel and it was great! All staff, front desk, housekeepers, and breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely stay here again!!
Predictably Hampton Inn quality. Smooth check-in. Pleasant staff. Clean room. Pet friendly. Plenty of basic shopping and dining options actually within a short walking distance. Easily accessed. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute drive in traffic to battlefield sites. For reference, this location was the approximate site of Camp Letterman.
The rooms were great and the location is excellent to see all local attractions. The breakfast was great both mornings. The only downside was the elevator was more like "ride at your own risk" and the hot tub was more like a lukewarm tub that was filled with dishwasher detergent to add bubbles. It's a great place to stay if you don't want to relax poolside or risk the machines in the weight room being...
Great location, hot tub and amazing breakfast. The staff is awesome Second time there. Very convenient to get to Liberty Mountain resort and Gettysburg historical places.
What a wonderful place!! I was greeted by Kathy and another front desk worker with beautiful dark eyeshadow, I forget her name. They were sooooo welcoming and very knowledgeable! Reserved rooms at the Aspire Hotel this past weekend for an annual board meeting for our association. Could not be more pleased with the accommodations and atmosphere from the cleanliness of our rooms, meeting space and a lunch we catered. With our members coming from across Pennsylvania the location is perfect and a very short distance from the battlefields and historic Gettysburg to visit during...
When I was told that the Aspire Hotel had been renovated, I had no idea how true that would be. So allow me to share. Our room was SPECTACULAR. I believe it's possible that we were the first to stay in our room. The beds were comfortable, totally clean, the carpets in the hallway were brand new including the baseboards. Everything bright and shiny. My congratulations to the owners on their quite...
Just spent 3 nights at the Aspire and was very pleased. Kathy and Daniel at the front desk couldn’t have been any nicer or helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful. They are definitely under staffed, but who isn’t these days? They are doing as well as they can. I only have two complaints. 1) the coffee maker in the room was awful. I brought...
This hotel has been recently renovated and looks great! The king size beds were amazing and the rooms were huge and spacious (and very clean!) Jared the front desk man was our MVP of the weekend, who charmed the masses with his ability to handle any situation with ease and professionalism. We will definitely be back to this hotel which is right in the midst of a beautiful historic area.
Stayed at Aspire in July of 2018. Many people on here are speaking of the older, adjacent hotel, The Eisenhower. I found the rooms at Aspire very clean & fresh. 2 King size beds, couch, desk, a reclining chair, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, ironing board/iron, great AC, WIFI, cable, hot breakfast, next door to a family fun center with go carts & arcade games & laser tag and hotel...
This hotel was expensive and did not need to be. It was comparable to a motel 6 on the inside. There was coffee in the room but it was the worst room coffee ive ever had. There was no free coffee at the hotel or at the adjacent Eisenhower. No free breakfast at all. For the price it should have better everything. The room was large but the bed wasnt comfy. Overall i I was disappointed.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. The front desk manager (Dan) was extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the decor they had out for Christmas and they even had a few free snacks and lemon water. The room itself was perfect and we had zero issues.
Everything thing worked and the bed was soft. The room seemed completely soundproof, but still heard a train just once. The historic part of town was really neat. Definitely worth checking out if you're just passing through.
Have stayed at a number of Garden Inns being a member of the Hilton rewards program. Our room was clean. You can adjust the room to very cold if you want. Which with COPD this is very helpful. Some in the Southern states have begun limiting your AC to save costs. The place is a bit dated, and probably a rehab is in order. I am stingy with my stars, but I gave this 3 star hotel 4 stars, for the simple...
My family loved the stay here. The hours for the bar could have been expanded. The pool was very well kept and kids loved it. Room was well stocked and clean. Our upstairs neighbor must have been in a rush becasue we heard him pacing his room (loudly) at 6am on a Sunday morning. Breakfast was good... you can either self-serve or order food.
Very nice hotel. Extremely clean. Easy to get in and out of. There is a restaurant on premise. Breakfast comes we your stay. Hotel is bright and modern. The rooms are large and cozy with adjustable beds. The shower has a good spray and there was plenty of hot water. Room had a Kureig coffee maker with a selection of K cups.
This is one of my favorite places to eat!!!! I absolutely love the friendly staff, the atmosphere, and the delicious food!! I highly recommend the ribs, steak fries, and mashed potatoes- absolutely amazing!!!! You can tell the manager, Roy, takes pride in his restaurant to have such friendly employees working. Just stayed her for a few nights while visiting family for the Christmas holiday. We had not planned to bring our dog with us but had a last minute change of plans with our dog sitter so he came along. The room was amazing. Clean and quiet. The breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel. Dennis ,Michelle , and rick deserve a raise. The pool was clean. We were very pleased. Well definitely go again.
Room was average and dated, still clean though, staff was nice. Pool was also nice. Gym was small. Breakfast was average, what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast. Overall pretty good stay. Don't know if we'll be returning or not.
Wonderful service, very nice workers I would recommend anytime they are very accepting of your family and pets
This was a very nice hotel. It looks like they are renovating because I did see carpet out side and the inside was very nice and cozy looking on the lobby. Of the 4 or 5 country inns we stayed at this trip this was the only one to set us up with rewards and upgraded our room for us. The staff was really nice and friendly and the rooms we clean we had a surprisingly large room. :)
Hotel was amazing, stayed one night and would definitely go back for more stays. Convenient to shopping restaurant and gettsburg. The staff was very nice answered alot of questions ... Beautiful area..

Great place to stay while you're in Gettysburg. We loved the location, and the room was clean and quite large, plenty of room for our family of 4 (with two boys ages 12 and 14). Large bathroom and full size tub/shower with great pressure out of the shower head. Beds were very comfortable too. Everything in the room was very clean and in very good condition. Breakfast was the typical microwaveable items...
The room was CLEAN with a good mattress. Plenty of on-site parking. Reasonably quiet. The room was spartan with minimal furniture and totally devoid of pictures or ornamentation. The lighting was inadequate. Despite the shortcomings, I wouldn't hesitate to book a room there again.
I can’t say enough good things about the hotel another service absolutely loved this place!! I love the blanket in the room So much I need one please tell me Where to buy one the most comfortable blankets ever! Everything about this place was simply amazing thank you for everything! Wish I could give you 10 🌟’s
This hotel is right in the middle of the action at Gettysburg and very close to the national military cemetery, the meeting point for most ghost tours, and some great little restaurants and activities. Only about 1.5 miles from the visitor center, too. Hits my main points: it’s clean, has a decent (free!) breakfast, and parking. The beds were also very soft and comfy, a definite plus. Thanks for a...

My first concern when booking a room in new place, is personal safety. This is in a safe residential area and a new clean Dollar General across the street in case you forgot anything. We stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding and cannot say enough good things about it! From the staff on arrival and throughout our stay - to everyone we encountered while we were there, the people we met were beyond kind and helpful. We stayed here for one night mid-August. The location of the hotel is perfect and has free parking. The hotel itself has a nice historical background. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar was queer and the glasses were filthy.
Please note: this review is for the meeting room only and NOT about guest rooms! Their pub is used for meeting space during the day. Have arranged and attended several business meetings here, all without issue. The rate is reasonable. Not a huge space, but great for the 18 we had. Location is great, centrally located and close to shops, restaurants and college. Parking was convenient and cheap. Room was comfortable.
Very clean and spacious room. We got one of the fireplace rooms which we paid extra for but well worth it. Even though we didn't use the fireplace. 😂 The room did not have a tub just a shower which was fine. The air didn't work very well either but it's an older hotel so expected I guess and it was very hot in Gettysburg. The parking you had to pay for but it was not too far from the hotel.
Besides a great location, the property was meh. Cleaning/maid service was spotty, the property needed an update/painting, “suite” was extremely small and should not be billed as such, shower had no hot water for most of the time, room was not even in the hotel proper but over a walkway to another property. Disappointing after waiting to stay here for a number of years.
The location is the best thing about the hotel and is a 4 star hotel for that reason. The reception staff was very nice, the rooms are fairly small but that's to be expected with an old hotel. We were only given 1 towel and even after we asked for more, the 1 towel was replaced with....1 towel. Also, DO NOT leave anything!!! I left a pair of eye glasses and realized it only about 4hrs after I left...
This hotel definitely has paranormal activity! We experienced moving items right in front of our eyes and captured a whistle on EVP (which we heard in real time as well). The service was great and we were happy with the amount of space in our room. The only problem we had was minor and that was the ice machine wasn't working on our floor. The restaurant was another story. See my separate review on...

Positive-They just installed new mattresses and I slept well. Negative- our room had no bath towels in it. It was extremely hard to get two of them (despite having a whirlpool tub in the room) as they were "all they had at the time". I'd like to make a point here, in case Choice Hotels is watching, and this doesn't apply to this hotel in particular, but all of them of late, the customers see right...
For a budget concious couple, we were extremely happy staying here. The beds were comfy, the water pressure/shower was great, it was clean, and the employees were very nice. We could see they were updating aspects of the hotel and the tiny "pool" was closed (but we weren't planning on using that anyway). Our only suggestions would be: replace the carpet in the room and add an outdoor seating area. ...
Adequate for a couple of nights, could use a bit extra cleaning, dirty walls, and some mold in corners of bathroom. Pool is a complete waste of time! The size of a postage stamp and only 3 feet deep and bottom cracked, looks like a good area to cut a toe!
Nice clean rooms, comfy beds and the whirlpool tub is fantastic, I was so relaxed and body feels better. Staff is friendly and courteous
I couldn't believe the quality of tree room for the price i got. There was a fridge and microwave in a very new room and hotel. There was a pool to keep the kids occupied. Overall a very nice steady.
Very clean. Very quiet. Pool is nice but not big. However we visit in November so letting the kids swim is a bonus. The pool doesn't need to be big. Breakfast. Wow. No need to go to a restaurant unless you want to spend money you don't need to. Waffles. Pancakes. Toast. Muffins. Biscuits. Sausage gravy. Cereal. Oatmeal. Scrambled eggs. Sausage patties. Decided to try the Thanksgiving buffet rather than cooking at home. We enjoyed the experience. The setting was beautiful and the facility is top notch. The presentation and taste of food was astonishing. The whole experience made my 10th Wedding Anniversary weekend memorable! I would definitely recommend this !
Beautiful country side is one of the features you will enjoy. The Lodges sit on top of a hill and view of the valley is stunning. The service is wonderful as well. The Lodges are awesome. We attended a wedding there and many members of our family. We all loved our stay.

The staff are very nice, and the location as others have commented is perfect for exploring the town & the battlefield and beyond. I was teaching a class here in the area and so really needed to have a good Internet connection… It was only so-so… That’s the only thing that could be improved… The coffee in the lobby is excellent.

Great Hotel...could not ask for a better location which was right on the main street! Room was very comfortable, clean. Looking forward to coming back to this great city and definitely going to book again at this Hotel!
This is a pet friendly hotel, but they do have rooms that pets are not allowed in. Walls are on the thinner side, and traffic can be heard inside even on the back side. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly. There is a nice outdoor pool. The indoor pool is seasonal or for inclement weather only. We were a little disappointed we could not use it while we were there. Depending on where your room is, you may have a little walk to the cottage to get breakfast, but it is not a long walk. There is no elevator-only steps to the 2nd floor. The only 2 negative things...
Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Location is convenient to everything. You don't need your car, just leave it at the hotel and walk. Although parking was a pain. Someone was parked in our space and the office staff was no help.
Rooms were clean, location great. The only issue we had was having to lug all our stuff up a flight of stairs since the rooms are motel style with doors on the outside. We had to make several trips to the car and we are in our 60s.
The rooms are close to some of the museums and resturants. We walked it was easier than trying to drive and find a place to park. The Museum right across the street was cool and the resturant was pretty good. The quality inn does have continental breakfast every morning. Not bad. Very clean and cozy. Great staff, a hot tub and pool (I never got to use them, but those are great amenities to have!), and surprisingly-good coffee from a machine (24 hours). The shower had great water pressure and they are truck friendly, even though theres not much space for a tractor & trailer. Bobtail tractors will work though!
I can't even begin to praise this place enough!! We walked into the room and was extremely pleased with it. Updated , clean, and decorated very nice. They had a very nice breakfast, the help was very nice the check in very pleasant and because of this we will be staying here every few months when we come to shop!!
We booked across the street a month ago & when arrived they over booked us. We’re from Philly. The lady was super friendly and accommodating to get us & our dog in. Only thing that wasn’t pleasant was only having one working light outside the bathroom, hot and cold water reversed, the AC didn’t work. And we had about 13 stink bugs hanging with us. It was only for an evening so it wasn’t worth complaining...

Super friendly staff! If you don’t mind a little extra walk, great location. Very quiet! I would definitely stay here again. Close to many stores and fast food. The room was very clean. Only downside was no housekeeping to take the trash accumulated.
Really great hotel. The thing that made it 5 star was the staff. They were so kind and thoughtful and gave us everything we asked for. Room was clean, with a mini fridge, microwave, TV, and good temperature control. The blankets were kind of thin, but all we had to do was ask for some extra and they were provided. Coffee is free as well. Location is good, close to downtown, but not so close that the...
The front desk people were very nice. The price of the room was great and it was very clean! They had coffee but no breakfast which was no big deal. There's plenty of places to go. We will be back.
It was clean. Check in was quick, firendly and efficient. Very quiet location. Wish they had more shampoo and an extra blanket!
I stayed with a party of 9. We had 2 rooms with each having 2 beds. Rooms were clean and functional. For the price, can't complain - that stated, you get what you pay for. No breakfast buffet or drink options - watered down coffee or hot water to brew your own.
Excellent value. I stayed here with my girlfriend for several days, the staff was very friendly and everything was clean and worked well. Would recommend.

My wife and I thoroughly loved our stay at the Lightner Farmhouse B&B. This Gettysburg B&B is located just outside the hustle and bustle of the town so noise was greatly reduced, making our stay way more private, yet close enough to visit all we wanted to visit in the historic town. With six bedrooms, this would be an ideal B&B to rent for a family get together or reuniting with close friends. The...
Incredible place to stay if you're in the area visiting Gettysburg. The hosts, Teresa and Steve, are incredibly friendly and provide an excellent breakfast! There are a lot of very nice common spaces, a beautiful outside fire pit, and acres of walkable fields. As a historic site that served as a Civil War hospital, the paintings and artwork reflect the time period, among many other fun pieces of art...
We were fortunate to stay 3 wonderful days and nights at the Lightner Farm Bed and Breakfast . The surroundings were beautiful. We sat on side porch early morning enjoying our coffee. Saw 4 deer quietly walk across the lawn into the nearby woods. What a relaxing time. The owners met our every need. They shared the farms past with us, bring it alive. The breakfast each morn was wonderful. Very tasty...
I have stayed at a lot of bed-and-breakfasts in my lifetime, but this was hands-down my favorite. Steve, our host, was so knowledgeable about history, but also about the community. Teresa was also very knowledgeable and it is obvious that she has taken so much time and effort to beautifully decorate the farmhouse and make it so welcoming. Their chef, Jason, always had a wonderful breakfast for us ...

The location was excellent. it was very comfortable and the owners could not have been more helpful.
I stayed in the String of Pearls WW II themed room. It was lovely. The bed was comfy. I stayed for 2 nights. It was perfect for me for a little getaway. Barbara was so nice. She gave me directions to some of the places I had planned to visit, which were all within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Gettysburg.
We stayed in the King suite on the bottom floor. The place was comfortable and the antiques were wonderful. Great location to many locations(center of most). Great place to relax and feel like family. Barbara was very sweet and accommodating to life circumstances. Everyone was lovely. We will be staying again. I highly recommend this jewel to stay at. Thank you Barbara for all you did.
Such a beautiful space to get some rest after traveling and enjoying the town’s rich history. The themed rooms are immaculately kept and the family who owns the Airbnb are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The ice cream next door is also phenomenal :)
We decided to take a mini honeymoon to Gettysburg, and we wanted a better atmosphere than a big hotel/motel. Barbara called us immediately and asked us about stair climbing ( these owners really care about the people who stay here). She booked us in the carriage house in sleepy hollow manor. I loved the breakfast parlor, and porch overlooking downtown Gettysburg. What a wonderful weekend. We will definitely...
I stayed in the Grand Review room, which is in the Sleepy Hollow carriage house. I was there for 3 nights & the room was exactly what I needed. I was right in the center of everything I wanted to see, most of which is within walking distance. Also, most of the major battlefields are less than a 5 minute drive away. The owners were very nice! I thought the price of the room was very fair & I would...
