I have been in and around this Sheraton Greensboro Hotel for many years as they are the host hotel for my Alma mater, NC A&T, so I almost regret saying this was my first time staying there. The Sheraton hosted the ADIDAS Clash Soccer Tournament and our stay there was great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are many amenities in the hotel and it was nice to see all the family and teams...

Staff was superb and always there to help! Some problems in the room but it was always fixed as soon as the front desk was notified. Safe in room didn't work even after it was Fixed, not due to staff or management just a low tech device. Overall stay was fabulous and I will definitely return when I am back in that area!

This hotel has a great pool. They provide tea options in the room which is a plus. I’ve had nachos from the bar and they’re okay. My son and I couldn’t eat from their dinner buffet bc 95% of the things had dairy in them, and only bacon and fruit for breakfast buffet. I have to say that we just recently stayed here because we searched out a hotel that had a restaurant. Well, it did have a couple as well as a bar and breakfast/coffee bar. I loved staying here while on business! It is one of the few places that still have robes. The hotel staff were super helpful and my room was quite clean! I only subtracted a star because this place charges to have packages delivered to you there. It was pretty pricey too. I had 4 boxes delivered to me, none were too heavy...yet they charged me $37 in "handling fees." I have stayed at numerous hotels...

Demornay was incredibly helpful, respectful, and patient. She efficiently assisted us with canceling a reservation and relocating us to her Gate City location. While we waited for the other hotel to process the cancellation, she made sure we had water and cookies. Her personable nature made us feel warmly welcomed. I truly appreciate her efforts and would highly recommend her.

Feels a little older, beds are firm. The cookie and water is nice but the location and entrance of the hotel are a little tough to navigate during high traffic times. It does have a sports bar attached that you can charge food and drinks to your room

This is not the newest hotel in Greensboro, but it is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated all the way down to the individual room level, and the staff--from the General Manager to the Service--is polite, attentive, friendly and cheerful. The stay was very welcoming! Everything was clean and in place, as someone expects. Unfortunately the 2 issues I has was that the shower washes, lotions and hand soaps, all were scented with Lavender. The staff here was super sweet and had great mannerism, they all were very efficient and kind. We enjoyed our stay and even though nothing is right next to the hotel except the airport which I did appreciate being close to the airport that was super convenient, to go out wasn't a far drive to get to other places, which I liked as well! Nice hotel, had a good stay and then walked across the street to the airport in the morning, which is extremely convenient. My only complaint is that the towels in our room were new and had never been washed - I ended up with white fibers and towel debris stuck all over my body, all through my hair, and it was quite hard to remove. Not cool.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Airport for our wedding festivities. We had 30 rooms blocked with friends and family flying in from different locations. The Marriott shuttle from the airport was absolutely perfect. When guests arrived, they were treated extra special being a part of our wedding and being the bride, and I can honestly say there was such peace of mind throughout the entire weekend...

Rooms are tiny compared to a normal hotel room, especially the bathrooms. Decor is modern. Front desk staff is not very helpful and pretty rude. Hotel is only convenient if u are flying out of gso. It is not near downtown activities and destinations. Also, GPS doesn't work to the hotels address took forever to find location. Must use google maps only. Hotels website doesn't tell you that.

Very impressed. Clean, updated and very comfortable. Well equipped and very helpful polite staff. I was really impressed with the nice roomy showers and stocked with good shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The beds were very clean and very comfy and slept well. One of the cleanest hotels I've been to! The room looked exactly how it looked in the picture and the front desk workers were extremely polite. Free breakfast and a bar downstairs if you would like to drink. I enjoyed my stay and would like to go back.

Room was fine... it was clean, bathroom had some water damage that was painted over on the inside bottom of the door, loved the pillows and the amount of them, and loved all the towels. I didn't have to request more and that is nice! I was not impressed with the breakfast that you have to pay for per person. The price here is a little higher than nearby hotels. However, the lobby is well designed, the rooms are in excellent condition, and the staff are friendly. There is a bar that opens for happy hour every night, and the kitchen offers breakfast, and dinner. The fitness room hosts the usual (sparse) set of equipment. Stayed in a King corner room. From check-in to the room itself, everything was excellent. The bed was super comfortable, room was very spacious and the shower wonderful. Had room service which met every expectation I had and delivered very quickly. The meal itself was very filling. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Loved staying at Proximity! So many thoughtful details in this hotel. The 'living room' on our floor where we could get ice and fill the glass pitcher provided in our room with filtered water. I did not use the services, so I won't comment them. I use the hotel room mostly to sleep and have breakfast. Beds and pillows were comfortable, I slept well. Nothing too fancy, but it was clean, the staff was polite and friendly, and I really like the kitchenette in the room. They serve a very limited hot breakfast and it wasn't especially tasty, but it's better than the gluten-only offerings at many hotels which I can't eat. Perfect place to stay. All the bad reviews I've read are petty issues that are out of the hands of the hotel or staff. Fire alarms, noise from other guests, etc. Also, the wifi operates perfectly, never had a single issue. Many guests don't realize or understand how a hotel operates, thus their reviews are almost irrelevant.

Stayed here for a out of town funeral. My only complaint was the bed were hard as rock and the blackout curtain didn't close all the way but the thin curtains did so the light from the street lamp shine through

If there is one thing I wasn't crazy about it would be the marshmallow pillows since I'm used to dense memory foam types at home. But everything else was great. You can't beat the price and secluded location. The staff is friendly and happy to accommodate for the needs of the customer. Rooms were clean and for spacious with 0lenty of space between the two beds that occupy the single room. The water pressure could be better I. The shower but the hot water lasts for a great deal of time which is great. Recommend if in need of a room for a night or two.

This is basically an overnight, quick stay hotel, especially if you are passing through or in town for an event. The rooms are clean as is the bathroom. The housekeeping staff is nice and attentive. I do wish they had a place to print because I come through for business.

Staff/customer service was top notch. Room was clean, quiet, and in good repair. Did'nt have the constant marijuana/cigarette smell that hotels normally have . Went too two other hotels in the area, both were too costly. One had the usual marijuana smell.

Definitely not a popular place, didnt have many people there at all. I do believe this would be a last resort kind of place if everything was booked up and on a cheap budget. There is no extras to this place at all not even a pool. This would be a place to stay if you was just trying to get peace from the world or just traveling through and need a quick night sleep.

I didn't sleep here, I was visiting a friend who did. It's a very reliable hotel, but I would not stay here on a family trip. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is helpful. The rooms just need a pick me up, but I imagine that would raise the rate.

The couch in the room was disgusting, There was a dead roach in the freezer and in the sink, bed looked clean but I bring my own sheets and blankets any time I stay at a hotel or motel anyway. It was one night so I dealt with it.

The bathroom vent fan and light switch are 1 so they can't be used separately. The vent fan sounded terrible. Also, there was a mouse in my room that made a ton of racket all night. But my room was clean, freshly painted and the bed was super comfy.

Had a good experience with finding this place in a clutch situation. I had a bad car accident and the fact I was able to get there and Ursula was able to get a room for me was such a blessing. The room was a nice size for the price and it was worth the rental for the time. It was quiet and comfortable.

Most gracious and accommodating hosts! Beautiful safe home to stay in and easily walk to town as a solo traveler. For purposes of informing travelers, the road is a little noisy, but they do provide ear plugs! I slept through it. The mattress was not the greatest, just in case you have back issues or anything. Very classy house near town with upstairs bedrooms and a downstairs kitchen with dining room. Really enjoyed the stay and the breakfast was the best we have ever had. The location was great because it was a 15 minute walk to most shops and restraunts on the main strip. Rooms were very clean we had no complaints!

Most deff 💯 love the staff, very caring and attentive to customers needs. They keep the drink/snack machine stocked. New towels everytime we ask for them. Biggest rooms ive seen at a hotel out here for such a reasonably priced place! Full size fridge and microwave and big, comfortable bed! Plus an added pullout couch in the room with no extra charge!

Based on the price I'd say it's worth the stay. Pros: It was quiet, clean enough, workers were friendly, shower head was over 6 feet high. Cons: Only two pillows, mattress was pretty hard, needs maintenance (toilet seat, shower control, no trash can) Overall, I would stay again, mainly based on the good price.

Very friendly staff!! The room was clean, and we'll stocked. It is an older establishment but very well taken care of. A.c. worked really well. A nice selection of channels and a Chinese place close that delivered! If I am ever up this way again would definitly stay, and recommend to others!!
