Mammoth Lakes, 164 Old Mammoth Road 🧭 Map
Nice clean room with great shower. Lots of extras (pool spa sauna and putt putt). Restaurants are great staff is friendly. Also on the free bus line for Mammoth.
Service was fantastic and the decor is top notch. Buildings are old. Slated for a massive redevelopment though. Good place for the price
Clean, cozy, friendly and helpful staff. Beds were a little too soft but overall not bad. Pool looked ok. Jacuzzi was big and clean. The jets were more like fountains. We will use this hotel again!!
The mattress in our room was so uncomfortable one night I got almost no sleep. The bathtub was wonderful, very deep and relaxing. The pool was empty. The hot tub was huge, that was nice. We had a fireplace room. It had a fridge, stovetop, toaster, microwave and dishes/cookware. I feel like I spent way too much money for a place that was just alright. They front desk could have offered us more information...
I enjoyed the rustic, historical feel of this place. It has a lot of charm. Its small bar area was cozy and the friendly bartender was very informative. It is not ultra modern which I truly liked. It has the spirit of skiers from decades ago lingering in its wood frame. The rooms were decent size, with our room having a microwave, refrigerator, and a safe. The room had been refurbished while keeping...

Motel 6-Mammoth Lakes, CA, Mammoth Lakes1 / 22
Mammoth Lakes, 3372 Main Street 🧭 Map
Good budget option in Mammoth. I rolled in the morning with a situation - car had overheated on the way up and I was hopeful we could get a room early to put our stuff so the car could go to the shop - and Tanya was super helpful and found a solution that worked for us. I've stayed in enough Motel 6 to know, this is pretty much what you would expect in terms of cleanliness, quality, etc. One bonus...
I stayed here during spring break with my kids and it was a comfortable stay, I went to the office midweek and Tanya at the front desk was very nice and made my stay for the rest of the week so pleasant, I booked 2 more nights and she was so sweet and gave me a map of all the fun stuff there is to do out there with my kids that I wasn’t aware of! Definitely will be going back soon!
Many places undervalue the importance of having a great front desk, especially to first-timers guests! I checked in at the last-minute and late (it was 8pm-ish) so probably the receptionist checking me in at that hour wasn't really "in the mood" on side information. The next morning upon checking out though, Tania who handled my check-out at Mammoth Lakes was being so helpful and welcoming with loads...
I love using Motel 6 for all my ski travel. Melissa at the front desk has always been extremely helpful, very quick to check us in, and treated my groups and I with kindness and respect on all occasions. Rudolph is great as well. I think their staff sets them apart from the other value motels in the area. Between the kind staff, flexible reservations and the easy of access to bus lines, it makes...
**** Update 2/29/24, Melissa the manager called and was so polite and apologized. I have always had great service here so I was surprised when I had a bad stay. She made it right with me and I will definitely be staying at Mammoth motel 6 again in the future! I am actually really impressed by this corporation that she would contact me directly and take the time to talk with me. Thank you!! I will be...
If you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep: this is the place to be in Mammoth Lakes: the room is clean and reasonably priced. Location is perfect: 10 minutes walk to the village where there a few good restaurants. Bus stop is nearby. You can leave your car in the hotel parking, take redline free shuttle bus to skiing resort. That’s what we did. On down side: room is small. Standard room is...

The staff were amazing. So helpful, carrying bags, giving dinner and places to visit. We loved them.
Staff were very friendly. Spa/hot tub was nice. Unfortunately, we were on the first floor and could hear every footstep from the room above us so did not sleep well. Close to the Red line shuttle to mammoth (3 min walk) which was convenient. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was good.
We LOVE staying at Mammoth Creek Inn. They have an amazing spa & the beds are so comfy! Tom does an amazing job taking care of us when it comes to driving us to & from the mountain which is super helpful. He is always really insightful about the mountain / lifts open as well. Looking forward to staying here every trip to mammoth.
We love this place and we’d like to give a special shout out to Leina’ala and Tom for going beyond and above in helping us with directions, recommendations and for setting up the fireplace late in the night to keep us warm. It’s that personal touch that makes this place so special, as compared to bigger hotels. I would give this place a ten-star if I could. Highly recommended! Thank you for this special...
Rooms had no AC. Very dry air to the point I got a bloody noose. Shower pressure was weak. Very clean however. The hot tub was very high end high-end. Front desk staff was nice and very helpful
We had an amazing time at Mammoth Creek Inn! The rooms were super nice and clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The owners went above and beyond with making sure we had everything we needed, and were super nice and accommodating. The spa area was great to enjoy after skiing, with both a hot tub and sauna. We had a great view of the mountains, the inn is conveniently located as well!...

Unit size (3BR) was excellent. Fully Furnished including kitchen. Close to activities. Secured parking.
Great stay, tons of snow right next to the lift and on the mountain and love being able to ski in and ski out
Great location -- perfect ski in ski out, it's nice to go in the hot tub at night and watch the snow cats go by on Lupin.

The place is at a good location, close by grocery, restaurants, and massage (0.5-1mi) and to the Village (2mi). The unit I rented was in very good condition and equipped with everything I needed (I love to cook, so I just enjoyed the kitchen as an every-evning activity 😀). A trailhead, which goes around the town (7mi loop) with beautiful views to the peaks around, and which is connected to other (more...

Decent condo via Airbnb. Everything was a bit dated, and the heat was marginal, but ok for a few nights after skiing.

This is a great place to stay during the ski/snowboard season. Beds are King size and full kitchens so you can cook your own breakfast, gear up, and walk right out to lift.

Don't expect to connect to the wifi network or get cell signal from your room. Make sure to download movies beforehand because Netflix will be super laggy.

Beautiful place to visit. The condo was spacious and ample sleeping space. Many things in condo starting to show wear and could be updated. There was no washer and dryer as well. We also had to go without hot water for a couple days.
Unit 24: Spacious, but needs a lot of attention. Water pressure is good. Washer and dryer in unit are great. Living room has nice cottage feel. However, internet connection is poor, at least in one bedroom bedspreads and mattress cover are wrong size for the mattress, pillows under pillow cases are stained and yellow. Bedrooms are very dated. Showers need good cleaning - nothing is white anymore....
I have come up multiple times with my XC team. The condos are always cozy and clean, and can comfortably fit large teams. Highly recommended!
Very nice building with all the usual things that one would need in a hotel. The only problem I had was that in the summer time it would get as bit hot in the rooms and as there is no air conditioning it was quite uncomfortable to sleep
One of the best places I've stayed at hosting 6 more people. Very spacious kitchen, living, and dining areas makes this place a top consideration for our next trip. Its across from the 24hours Vons shopping center and about a mile away from the Village.

The condos were very nice and well stocked with bedding, Kitchen supplies (including basic spices and sugar/syrup), washer and dryer with detergent, and nice showers. There is a key that let's you get into the spa which has showers, a sauna, hot tub, and pool. There are also tennis courts and a trolley stop. We had a lot of fun here.
Unit #15 is amazing. I felt like we were the first family to stay here, everything was so new! The beds were incredible and each room had it's own "nest" for temperature control. It's an extremely comfortable little cabin with all the modern touches. I really am impressed with this vacation home. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay here.
Great location for the town area and stores. Comfy rooms, with a charming nostalgic feel. Beware, only two parking permits per rental. Didn't know about this and had to pay to park off site

Its a luxurious condominium that we booked through AirBnB . This is very close to Mammoth lakes. There are dedicated closed parking spots. Each condo has spacious living rooms and bedrooms. There is jacuzzi access for the residents of the condo. It’s located in a scenic location with beautiful backdrops.
My boyfriend and my parents did a weekend trip to see Yosemite. We stayed at Aspen Creek Condominiums. Our condo was so cozy. We had a view of the mountains. We got a bit lost in the beginning trying to find out parking garage but luckily I found a map at the leasing office.
Wee bit expensive, but we booked late and had limited options. Lots of moose in the room, made it feel like Christmas in July which was odd. No problems on check in/out, staff friendly and accommodating when we called them. Was a little warm in mid-July, and the fridge was really loud, but not bad.
