I stay here for Anime Detour every year since they began hosting it. Rooms are always clean and staff is always friendly. Not only do I like being on site for the convention, I also just really enjoy this building. The layout now gives me feelings of nostalgia that took a bit to obtain as our crowd got used to the new location. Love that so many restaurants and shopping are in walking distance!

Stayed here for Convergence. Very pleasant faux fancy hotel. Our room was quiet and well appointed. Wish the microwave was in the room, not down the hall. The elevators were unable to keep up with the convention traffic. The staff was nice and we were able to get carts for check in and check out with some effort. Parking wasn’t cheap bit also wasn’t too complicated.

Dining review - breakfast was great! I didn't stay at Hyatt, I stayed across the street but would come to Hyatt for a great breakfast buffet. I enjoyed the upscale feel of the dining area and the food presentation. There were a lot of great options to choose from and a little extra with delicious smoothies and juice shots. Rooms were clean and open. Gym and pool are amazing. The lobby is huge and the staff is very kind. I highly recommend this place. The location is also near several restaurants. The only issue is that everything inside the hotel is really expensive such as the restaurant and crepe store. Overall a great hotel.

I have stayed here for years for a conference. The conference center and rooms are great. The actual hotel rooms are clean and warm compared to the harsh Minnesota weather. I stayed warm with lots of pillows and blankets. I moved four pillows from the other queen bed to my bed and had eight pillows. I slept in a pillow fort both nights.

Typical Hyatt experience. Comfortable with excellent service and great amenities. Staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are cozy and clean. The walls are a bit thin and I wish the bathrooms were a bit bigger. Directly connected to skyway and right next to the convention center makes this super convenient. Overall, a nice place to stay at for business or leisure.

Marriott never disappoints, and Minneapolis City center was no exception. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk and bar were friendly & helpful and the hotel is in a great, walkable location. I had a short but very nice stay.

I have never experienced such bad service at a hotel. I was in shock at the comments that were made by the staff. We went there for a friend's birthday and the room was supposed to be a gift. The front desk staff blurted out how much I paid for the room and stated the he would never pay that much for room for just one night. I was so embarrassed and couldn't understand why he'd make us feel like that...

Room was spotless and very nice. Excellent front desk staff. A little tricky parking in the ramp and finding the lobby. Bar/restaurant was actually pretty good, and prices were not outrageous. Would stay again.

I stayed at the Marriott for a Convention. My room was very comfortable and the staff took care of my every need. The food was good, and the choices plentiful. I loved walking around the neighborhood - we discovered Mary Tyler Moore's statue, a great old fashioned candy store. It was very interesting. I had a great time and a very comfortable stay.

The hotel was nice but the loud music to 2am from a local outdoor venue, and the sirens as well, made it hard to sleep. We said something about this and were told that the venue had been cited for noise but it was continuing. We did have a nice breakfast buffet and Jean was an amazing waiter. Nice place and not far from convention center. Nice area, great places to eat in walking distance, public transportation easy to get and free to Minneapolis Convention center (on the right bus - in Oct 2023 was bus 10). Drops you right off in front.

This hotel is in a great location for downtown events. About a 10 min walk to watch a Twins game. The room was clean & spacious. The shower turn off was a little hard and the water wasn't all that hot. A magnifying mirror would also come in handy. The bed was very comfy. We loved the sheets. Business trip from Toronto, stayed for a few nights and loved the atmosphere the hotel was going for. Stayed at the bar for a while. Great music with an awesome DJ. I reccomend the Cucumber gimlet. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Southwest downtown. Just across from Orchestra Hall, and just a 10-minute walk from Target Center. The room we had was a good size, clean, and well-stocked with all the things one could want in a mid-range hotel. The service was great. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms themselves are roomy and stylish. The breakfast buffet is delicious with an omelet station and the little evening reception is fun. The pool is nice but small. It is a great value for downtown Minneapolis. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive but that's pretty much the norm for downtown. This is our favorite family hotel downtown.

Best embassy we have stayed at. Super clean, completely renovated. All employees are friendly and helpful that we have dealt with. Great bean dip at the reception. The only downside is parking is 40 bucks a night. Lyon's pub and Manny's steakhouse directly next door. Kiddy corner is gay 90s and a few strip clubs. Super close to Target Center.

Beautiful, tasteful, updated remodel. Rooms are huge. Newly renovated and clean. Everything worked. Very comfy bed. Comfy pillows. Breakfast was awesome. Happy hour is always a bonus staying at Embassy! Only thing that keeps it from 5 stars, small pool, no hot tub. If those aren't a concern I would say book this hotel!

Amazing hotel. Not only is it very affordable, but the experience is borderline luxury. Airport view was amazing, nice and clean rooms with noise cancelling glass, and very spacious bathrooms. Shuttles leave every 20 minutes to the airport which makes travel way easier and less stressful. Front desk was super nice, very quality hotel.

Stayed for 1 night before my early a.m. flight. Clean, modern and easy to get to. Self-parking (pay) in the garage is easy and a few steps across the street from the hotel. Room service was very fast, and the food/drink were good. If I'd been staying longer, I would've liked to enjoy some of the other amenities. My room was comfortable with a view of a runway, so that was cool.

By itself, this isn't much of an issue, but be forewarned, if you are sharing the room with someone, there is no way of locking/fully shutting the bathroom door, nor any sort of active ventilation like a fan. Best hotel downtown Minneapolis, everything was fabulous as soon as I stepped in the door. It was my birthday and they made me feel so welcomed. I was treated with royalty like a celebrity. This is a great hotel in central Minneapolis. Great decor with an artistic feel. Room was spacious and the packed mini bar was very tempting. The only small issue is that there is no parking at the hotel, but there is a public parking garage very close by.

I missed this as the sign didn't mention, the hours on the card didn't say and maybe it's normal to wear shoes everywhere in a hotel but before coffee I'm not always aware if I have shoes. Great central location to several surrounding rinks. We stayed with our girls hockey team and the hotel was very accommodating. Very friendly staff.

Writing this on day three of a one week stay. Not a lot of noise. Pretty OK room over all. Has a plunger in case the toilet goes boom. No its not the Hilton but damn has it been a safe place three times in my life. If you meet your expectations at the hotel at this stage in its life it will all work out.

Didn't know Pop machine was supposed to be warm 🤣 it's not cool but you should have a Goofy maintenance guy in your business when you pull up questioning me on what I am doing besides parking and going to the room duh duh what else is there to do there!!!!
