Mariposa Inn and Suites

I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. My family and I experienced several significant issues that negatively impacted our experience.

Upon arrival, we encountered difficulties with check-in. Despite having pre-paid for our room, a front desk employee, Madison, incorrectly charged our credit card again. Furthermore, she was dismissive of our explanation that I had not personally made the booking, and her attitude lacked the professionalism and courtesy expected from a hotel employee. This incident, coupled with numerous similar online reviews citing the same behavior, suggests a systemic issue with staff training and customer service which requires immediate attention.

Beyond the check-in problems, we also encountered unsanitary conditions. A strong odor of marijuana permeated the hallways, and the bathroom in our room displayed visible mold and rust on the fixtures. These issues raise serious concerns about the hotel’s maintenance and overall cleanliness.

I urge you to thoroughly investigate these matters and take appropriate action to address the deficiencies in staff training, hygiene, and overall guest experience.

Wasn't really what I expected. Feel like a motel not really suites. And breakfast is not all the best but coffee and some bagels that's all. The room had open ceiling so in the morning light comes in not ideal if u want to sleep in late. Wouldn't go back.

Worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are loud due to not well insulated and outdated. You can expect to hear all the cars passing by and the neighbors cat. I stayed on the second floor and somebody above us kept having orgys up there or doing jumping jacks or just counting their steps I could not tell. My point is that you can hear everything! The service is lousy and while checking in the person had an attitude like she hated her life or the hotel. And do not let them fool you about the "continental breakfast" its a joke. And I have read posts on here where they said they will improve it but fyi they have not improved jack! Its all stuff you can buy at your cheapest gas station. I will NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER WILL STAY HERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE OR THE NEXT!!!

The reviews are accurate… This hotel is a catfish.

While it is in a great location, the complimentary breakfast is really equivalent to a breakfast snack bar. Quaker Brand Granola Bars, snack size individually package cereals, no true breakfast item besides a small bagel wrapped in saran wrap with small smuckers jams. Please don’t think you’ll leave satisfied after the free breakfast.

The room was sadly gross. The headboard was all scratched up, none of the trash cans inside the room were lined, the heater had an off smell to it the first time it was used, wifi was terrible and kept disconnecting, the light fixture in the bathroom had rust on it... Tv had basic channels. There was signage around the hotel stating that housekeeping was available to rooms who called and asked for it the day of. It was odd but we did request housekeeping and they did get to the room in a timely manner. The street sounds are very loud - it may be hard for others who are not used to street noise.

While there is no gym, the hotel offers a complimentary gym pass to Gold’s Gym at the mall across the street. This process was easy to use and the gym was lovely. For the price my partner and I paid, we wish we would’ve read the reviews and searched another hotel to stay in.
