The room was good, nice and clean, and the valet parker was very friendly and helpful in letting us know where to go to check in. And thanks to Magnolia's at 26th restaurant for giving us a discount on breakfast. Also, thanks go out to Rod, Janna, and Taylor for checking on us, when I ask for towels, Taylor sent them right up. again, thank you! THANK YOU for being a non-smoking Resort, because my asthma would have been unhappy.

We were not thrilled with the parking a street over. There is limited kitchen supplies. Not enough silverware, dishes, pots and pans. Skimpy of the towels.
The view is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are well appointed and comfortable.

We had been lucky to stay in the penthouse facing toward the beautiful Myrtle Beach.
It was an unforgettable memory for my family.
We really enjoyed the whole stay there.
Despite the fact that the bellmen were not very friendly...

We have had a great experience. Our family was in one of the updated rooms, and it was amazing.
Unfortunately we were unable to do miniature golf as it was flooded, which was out of their control. The outdoor pools were cold, but that happens.

Our stay at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa, anticipated to be a serene and relaxing retreat, was marred by a series of disappointments that deeply affected our overall experience and satisfaction.
Initially pleased to have been assigned the king suite we booked, our contentment quickly dissolved upon discovering that the suite's bedroom windows faced the hallway. This significant detail, not mentioned in the room's descriptions or depicted in photos, caused considerable distress due to my claustrophobia and nullified our desire for fresh ocean air—a primary reason for selecting an ocean-front property.
The level of room service was critically inadequate, with our room receiving attention only once, and that attention limited to the mere replacement of towels. To add to our dismay, during this scant service, my personal pillow from the W hotel—an item of significant sentimental and monetary value—was taken. Our attempts to address this issue were met with a disheartening indifference from the hotel staff, making us feel utterly disregarded.
Our experience was further diminished by the lack of the warm reception observed being afforded to other guests, a courtesy we were inexplicably denied. The hotel's decision to conduct K-9 inspections during our stay introduced an additional layer of discomfort and stress, far removed from the tranquil environment we had envisaged.
The most troubling aspect of our experience, however, was the response—or rather, the lack thereof—following our stay. Our efforts to contact the hotel's management regarding our concerns were consistently ignored. It was only after months of attempted communication and finally resorting to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that we received any acknowledgment of our grievances.
This culmination of issues—the misleading room arrangement, severely lacking service, the loss and disregard for personal property, an unwelcoming atmosphere, unsettling K-9 inspections, and the hotel's initial refusal to address our complaints—has left us deeply dissatisfied. We are compelled to seek not only a full refund for our stay but also compensation for the personal item taken and the distress caused by this entire experience. It is our sincere hope that this feedback prompts a thorough reevaluation of guest treatment and service standards at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa to prevent future guests from enduring a similar ordeal.

The hotel is perfect for a large family. We have a family of 6 and with a 3 bedroom suite there is a bed for everyone and a bathrokm for each room. The pools are clean and free of sand. There is a small lazy river, 2 small hot tubs, a splashing pool and two regular pools. Just steps to the beach and the master and living room boast amazing views. The kitchen and dining area is large and fully equipped. The amenities are vast including free mini golf across the street and valet parking. The resort is about a 1.5 mile walk to the boardwalk and about 2 miles from the Broadway shoppes. No hotel room turnover at night though so be prepared to wash your towels.

We stayed at the Anderson Ocean Club and Resort in August and it was for the most part a really good experience. The hotel is really clean and the rooms are spacious. I was prepared (based on other reviews) for the push to use Valet. I was to keen on the idea but it turned out to be a really good. The parking lot was across the street so having the Valet pickup and drop the car was really helpful.
The big downside for me with this hotel was the lack of a poolside restaurant. I understand they have restaurants in the sister hotels but this was big negative as we typically went back up to our room for lunch. I also found the pools to be quite small and nothing really special.
Although we had a great experience at this hotel for the most part, Its unlikely we'll stay here again. I will keep searching for another reasonably priced condo style hotel in Myrtle Beach.

The staff are very nice and helpful, they make the stay pleasant and with the trip. The rooms are large and nice, a little dated looking. Nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Not too far from the attractions and food, buy far enough to be quiet.
