Best Hotels in Myrtle Beach

I travel a lot, this is the best hotel I have stayed in, in a long time

The front desk was very good at explaining anything we needed to know. This hotel was close to EVERYTHING. Thorns: The sleeper sofa needed to be replaced. We had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor

I was very skeptical after seeing some of the reviews. But we booked a bedroom suite it was well cleaned (I am germophobic and added a note on my reservation) and it was spacious

The entire team treated us like family. They made us feel very much at home. Can't wait to get back to it. Want to get a laugh ask for Chocolate. Have fun while you are there

Behind the sofa was outlet that was coming out of the wall. Generally: Except for the urgent need to replace the sleeper sofa, everything else was great

The staff was nice, hotel is located in a good spot not directly in the busy madness. No complaints about our stay at all

The only thing that would of made it perfect for me, was if the lock on the balcony wasn't broke, but I gave 5 stars any way, because I just left it open to hear the ocean while I slept! If you're looking for a great affordable place to stay with perfect views, and other great amenities this is the place,but if you're looking for a fancy updated hotel, this may not be the place for you!

The place is dated, but ran by a great crew who seem to care. Rooms, pool, and hot tub seemed clean. Overall, a pleasant stay. A good deal for the price.

I loved it here! This wasn't a modern updated hotel, there were some bumps and bruises, but it was clean!, the staff were amazing, even let me check in early, due to an early flight, the view

Staff very nice! Room could've been cleaner. But the beds and linens were very clean. Stove needs a real good cleaning

If I can see it, that just tells me that enough time isn't provided to housekeeping to truly clean. I have a background in hospitality and these are things that a thorough housekeeping supervisor would remedy quickly

Once they are able to complete the upgrades they're working on this place will be a treat to stay at for budget conscious guests. My biggest concerns are the cleanliness of the bathroom and the kitchen

It is the prime location if you like to be within reach of all the Myrtle Beach strip action but far enough away that you have peace and quiet by the pool

This was a great hotel, I loved the location the pools you could tell they only focused on the main big pool but the other two little indoor pools were ok, they have a few splash pads for little ones

The beach is just steps from the rooms and they provide towels too. And as mentioned, that part of the beach is quiet and less crowded. The hotel staff is some of the friendliest we've encountered

One thing that I didn't like was the putt putt or mini golf was that it was really dirty and not well maintained, and the water around the holes were dirty and were mosquito breading grounds

One thing I also enjoyed was the pier, you can fish on it or you can walk around, enjoy the view and sit on the benches

This is one of my favorite hotels at Myrtle Beach. The hotel is huge but easy to get around. The beach area is probably one of the best around and there aren’t any rude or disruptive people around

Towels for the beach, a good beach exit to the shore, a nice gift shop, nice bars and restaurants in the hotel, elevators that are working and not a long wait, central location places to warm your food, fridge in the room, and good vending machines

We had fabulous food, good shopping, great customer service, and we did some tours to the downtown strip. I would like to stay here again

The location is great, the beach is easy access, the pool areas are fun. But the small jellyfish were not a welcome addition (nothing against the Hilton of course)! Shuttle service is good for skipping the rental car

Overall, good experience at a Hilton Resort… of course, comparing against Hilton Waikaloa might be a bit unfair…!!! :-). The staff are all friendly and attentive to their responsibilities

Rooms are dated and air conditioning not working efficiently. Valet and front desk staff are great. Good beach access. Sand area in pool not a good idea since it gets in the rest of the pool.

They also offer a shuttle to the nearby restaurants and shops and you only need to give a tip to the driver. Myrtle Beach is a nice place to visit because its clean and wholesome

They had a large amount of pools and hottubs, only complaint here is a good majority of the heated pools didn't seem to be running properly, they weren't heated

Breakfast was good. Loved our room with balcony. Everything we needed was furnished. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed just watching the ocean.

Not too far from shops, groceries, attractions, or restaurants. Safe location and good area for families. Ice cream parlor is great and has pretty fair prices given location

The beach access was amazing and easy to use, and the beach itself was well kept up and has plenty of space for everyone. The inhouse food choices are all great, very convenient and reasonably priced

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Didn't eat at the restaurant though cause we drove to The boardwalk

Atmosphere just was not my vibe. A lot of children acting in disrespectful manners. Parking fees could be worse ($25 a day for extra). Dishwasher was not working on check in, but maintenance fixed it very quickly

Weekend stay for a conference held in conjunction with the Hilton. The participants had rooms or suites in the Royale Palms which were very nice with meetings held next door. Staff were great and attentive to

Rooms were clean. Love that when u stay at one u can also enjoy the attraction at the others! That was a major plus! All the staff we encounter were friendly, and spoke/smiled in passing

I was down in Myrtle Beach to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The room was nice, but the sheets on the bed felt rough. There was a hole in one of the covers on the bed as well

The units can be different and ours has nice palm features (dated), but clean and well kept. Managed by Hilton so a guest can use the amenities such as pool, water park etc

We didn't see one staff member the entire stay and good luck getting anyone on the phone. We actually had to walk next store to a Hilton to pay a staff member to help us with our bags

Check in at Hilton Kimberly gave us great customer service. Royale Palm Condminiums by Hilton. It has large rooms with full kitchen, walking closet, laundry room

Good stay :) We ran into an issue with a random guy walking around with a dog on no lease, and he approached us two separate times at night

loved the room size, the view was nice, the pools were nice. The stay was good.

Pros: -3 flat screen televisions -jacuzi bathtub -cozy living room with two pullout couches -5 min walk to a pristine beach -incredibly friendly hotel staff who are helpful and always ready to accommodate Cons: -Town is over three miles away, and the shuttle only takes you two miles 10/10 will go back

We loved where we stayed, and would book with Kingston Plantation Condos again. They could use an upgrade on furniture. Driving around on the property took sometime getting use to. Stores and restaurants were close by

I've enjoyed staying at Kingston Plantation for quick, get away weekends and family vacations for the past eight years. The experience has always been extraordinary, regardless of the time of year

Lovely community! Very well kept. Everyone esp the security at the gate had great personalities! Will definitely be back. Great vacation location for families .

The access to the beach was well marked and easy. The breakfast buffet was very good nice variety. Would recommend this place to others as well as we would return

They have a bar and restaurant on site which is convenient if you don't want to go out. Staff was good and friendly and I will be booking my next trip here again

Management needs to do a better job at keeping guests accountable that don't think about others, like screaming loud boom boxes. Overall a good overnight trip. One more amazing thing, the free breakfast

In fact, with their hot tub, swimming pool, beach front location, work out facilities, and dining amenities, it would be pretty easy to have an enjoyable vacation without leaving the property

I loved everything about my stay! Even extended it an extra day! The pool and hot tub were amazing! The ocean front room had a perfect view. The balcony was tiny but not really a complaint

The room was quiet, clean, beautiful view. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. The shuttle was awesome the drivers very nice. The pool and hot tub area was very neat and well kept

We initially booked an eight day family vacation in a different hotel (Crown Reef) but after checking into that dirty, disgusting, cheap, dump, with rude service (non-existing service), we immediately checked back out; unfortunately, this left us without a place to stay and our vacation in jeopardy

Enjoyed it, fabulous pools and hot tubs. Wonderful condo and free DVD rentals were included. They serve a very tasty pancake breakfast in the restaurant.

The suite was beautiful, the view was beautiful, and the amenities were great. We went "off season" and it rained the whole time and we STILL loved it. Lots to do in the area and the indoor lazy river/ spa was fantastic

The Best Part of the stay, the bed and pillows! My goodness I slept like a rock. 00 credit to be used for dinning

While walking with my family on the beach and through the neighborhood the locals were all really friendly. Worth the price and definitely will be back again. Great staff keep them at all cost

The location of the hotel is away from the strip and in a nearby neighborhood which really gives you the home feel

The bell men were excellent and even took the cart to our room for my wife as she watched the two kids while I parked in a very unpleasant parking deck. The front desk associate was more than accommodating

Our favorite time of day was drinks with Barton and floating in the lazy river listening to the DJ. I had room service with a smile from Omar and Cornelius was a joy every time we entered the garage

We were also greeted by Coach when we arrived. He kicked started the fantastic service. Can't wait to bring more family and friends next summer. We're excited for 2023!! Thank you Avista!

This was our first visit to the Avista resorts. We loved every second of our vacation. Fantastic location, Fantastic staff. Every staff member was so helpful and so so nice

I had a corner ocean view room. You could see up the coastline and the city strip. The breakfast from Just off Main was amazing. (delivered$5) (Early Riser $10) I only had one issue, the cleanliness of the bathroom

We had a wonderful stay here! The resturant and Tree Top Lounge have so many delicious drinks and food to choose from. The room was clean and the balcony was of sufficient size

I took my husband there for his birthday weekend of Feb. I rented the King Parlor and our room was nice and clean. The staff are always friendly. The breakfast bar is good but, it can be better

The sides of the bed was excellent The view from the balcony was excellent The room temperature was excellent The refrigerator was excellent The bathroom was nice and clean

It was excellent that pots/pans, silverware, plates and glass cups were available for use. Housekeeping was available and very willing to bring us any extra towels, etc

Would definitely try a two-bedroom next time for added room. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were so polite and accommodating! We needed more towels and within 5 minutes of calling down they were delivered

Our family of 4 rented an oceanfront room. Our room and bathroom was very clean. Our only complaint is that our bathroom door would not close completely. The kitchen area was excellent

This resort was perfect for our kiddos and us! Our room was exactly as described in the booking and overlooked the beach. With 3 kids, space is always at a premium but we found the one bedroom spacious enough

Pros: Great location right on the beach with all rooms overlooking the ocean. The view from the balcony was stunning. This hotel is close to lots of things, including restaurants and shopping

So, when we arrived at the hotel, they upgraded us to a 12th fl 2 bed, 2 bath suite!!! We loved it SO MUCH, we stayed a 2nd night!!! 😂

I’d say the best part of our room to me is the view from the balcony as the resort is directly on the beach. The hotel resort features a few pools along with a couple hot tubs

This place has great amenities. Nice area behind hotel between beach and pool to lounge in. Spot to rinse the sand off before going back in. The absolute best complimentary breakfast ever

The pool bar was incredible and there was no shortage in chairs or tables to enjoy the beautiful weather near the pool. They have the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel

What I can appreciate about this hotel resort: FREE parking, outdoor showers to wash off after the beach, BREAKFAST lol they actually serve a great breakfast(cheesy grits, eggs, hot fries, fruit, pancakes etc) prime location (most places was like within a 10 minute drive)

She told me about all the freebies, offered recommendations on where to eat, hooked me up with a second parking pass at no charge and even upgrade my room to a high floor room with no extra charge

Really enjoyed my 5 day stay birthday celebration here! The room we had was lovely, microwave, refrigerator and stove (with utensils and pans), super comfortable beds

Th layout is great! Lots of pools and spas nice beach amenities. The rooms are average at best unless you get the larger rooms. Have been to better and worse resorts.

This is my third year staying at Seawatch and I’m torn on how I feel. The location is amazing and we love walking right out to the beach, however both this year and last I’ve had issues with my room

Love the location very quiet for a good night sleep after a long day

All of that being said about the room, I was happy for the amenities but ended up pretty disappointed when each hot tub I tried to get in was lukewarm at best

The service and atmosphere were awesome. The continental breakfast was delicious. 😋 The best omelets and grits! The staff that was working in the breakfast area was very helpful

A hidden gem! Absolutely wonderful staff. Plenty of activities or feel free to do nothing. Our favorite place in Myrtle Beach so far and we have been to many others. We can't wait to return.

Excellent beach front hotel! I had a spacious 2 bedroom place with a small kitchen. Was able to sleep 4 guys comfortably

Takes just a minute to get out on the beach, you can rent chairs and an umbrellas. Some jet ski and banana boat rentals right on the beach as well. Very nice updated lobby bar, outside bar and small arcade

But both sinks and tub was clogged! Could see hair blocking the sinks. And you had a foot bath while showering as the tub did not drain. No bed bugs! It was a very nice room!

Kitchen is just what you need to be able to whip up some quick meals instead of eating out your entire trip. Lazy river for kids, regular pool and hot tubs downstairs

It's the best if you have children. Celebrated our 1 year Old birthday and had a ball, so much so we booked an extra night. Kids of all ages will have a great time

The ocean is right there with some good seashell hunting. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Since it was winter we enjoyed the 2 indoor hots tubs, Lazy river and swimming pool! But can't wait to come back in the warmer months because the out side mini water park looks so much fun as well

David is the one who helped us in our time of need. He made sure we had the same number of beds and made our transition as painless as he could. Without David, my family of 5 would have been stuck without a place to stay

This will be our family's second time staying here and we're never disappointed. We love the Palmetto 2-3 bedrooms(family of 4) because they have so much room. Housekeeping is good to address concerns

Beautiful resort! Nice amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river and hot tubs. There is a fun kiddie pool with dump buckets and sprays and a climbing area. The resort is very clean and the staff is nice

Elevators were ample with the traffic so didn't have to wait for one long like we have at other properties

it might be easier to move a bill through Congress than to get the other two towels and washcloths that they took from me yesterday. If I was ranking them by the attitude of the housekeepers, they would get a 1 star

Stayed during the week of 6/9 - 6/14 with my fiance Staff was exceptionally friendly and were very kind in providing whatever we needed. Rooms were in excellent condition

Overall, our experience was really good and we would definitely stay there again the next time we come to Myrtle Beach

We've stayed here several times. Past stays were excellent with clean, updated rooms. Our most recent visit this summer wasn't so great due to the problems with the room

The room was extremely clean and everything we needed was right there (we ran out of a trash bags and that was really all we had to call the front desk for and they were there within minutes) the location is superb, far enough from the crowd but close enough that we were 10-20 mins from anything we wanted to do! Not a bad drive at all

My family just returned from a 5 day/4 night stay at Bluegreen Harbour Lights in Myrtle Beach. The staff is incredibly friendly, the amenities were fantastic, when we needed anything extra, they were quick to respond

I especially loved the proximity to such places as Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway on the Beach, and the Myrtle Beach State Park-which we visited thanks to a Park Pass provided by the resort

If you stay for a few nights you will love it I'm sure! The best place in North Myrtle beach. Super clean room, very professional staff, awesome pool area and the beach is only yards away

The restaurant attached had good drinks. At first a couple of the bartenders seemed standoffish but weren't at all! Started talking and all of them were amazing! Food was also amazing

Within walking distance of good restaurants and clubs. My wife will not let us stay anywhere else

They compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for years

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Room was perfect, small but we honestly didn't need a lot of space because it was just me and my husband. Right on the beach with a beautiful view

why stay in your room much when you are literally steps from the beach. There are a couple pools and hot tubs - not fancy, but they do the trick. For the price, I'd recommend this resort, hands down

We were not on the ocean side so our porch faced the road - I'd recommend the beach side. The road wasn't terrible, but a different feel than the beach side
