Bay Watch Resort & Conference Center

Cons:
We were moved to Baywatch unit 1237 before we arrived. The unit was filled with a strong musty odor immediately upon opening the door. We opened the sliding glass doors and turned the HVAC fan to “on” in a continuous mode 24/7 for the entire three day stay. On the third day, someone from housekeeping came and confirmed the awful smell even after three days of airing out. The garage elevators were not working. There was a sign on the main floor elevators that said the water would be shut off from 11am-3pm for repairs on our second day there. The front desk didn’t know of the water shut-off beforehand, nor did anyone let us know. We just happened to see the one sign. The floors were gritty from sand and had food stains and miscellaneous things on the floors from prior tenants. Apparently, the maintenance crew didn’t do a good job on the floors prior to our arrival.

Pros:
The unit was a three bedroom/2 bathroom layout with a well appointed kitchen. The good size balcony opened up directly oceanfront. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms clean. However, we will not be booking at Baywatch ever again.
