Holiday Sands North "On the Boardwalk"

Great place on the beach. Clean. Good breakfast. Good value for the price.

Pros: quick easy walk to the beach, nice indoor lazy river, nice outdoor pool and Indoor hot tub. Big balcony's and if lucky to get on ocean facing side, you'll get an ocean view. The beach right outside the hotel had complimentary umbrellas and chairs set up(until about 4pm, then they take them down) and a lifeguard(also only til about 4pm). There is also 1 washer and dryer on the floors to wash your laundry, but it costs $2 each. You can get quarters from the front desk.

Cons: rooms were crowded with furniture and small, no room service to clean anything, they'll just dump a few towels washclothes and hand towel in a bag at your door everyday. You have to bag up your own trash and dirty linens and put them outside and at least they'll pick them up. You have to borrow and vacuum your own floor, ask for sheets and change your own bed sheets. no free breakfast, although there is a restaurant inside you can pay to have breakfast every morning. The bars on the railings are also way too wide, my 18month old could put her head through the bars. It'd be nice if the hotel advertised and had some kind of railing mesh guard to provide to a room so they can sit outside with the little ones. We couldn't leave the doors open for fresh air because the toddler would've fallen 6 floors down. And our windows didn't open either.
