It was nice that the room was spacious, and I think the swimming pool was a little bigger than other places.

There is no complimentary breakfast. They gave us this ticket for it but was told there is no breakfast. And she was pretty rude. It was my brother n laws who booked it for us with his company. Me and his mother weren't happy. So not sure we'll stay there again. And we are always in that area.

Didn't notice the fitted sheet was stained until the 3rd night it was pretty disgusting. Other than that it's a nice hotel with some quality restaurants in walking distance. Front desk was friendly.

It's a great hotel and a very nice location. Stayed here twice already. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfy and we had a nice view of the hills around it. The only bad thing is the pressure of the shower water. It's not the greatest for people with long thick hair. My shower was longer than usual.

We got the king bed with sofa bed. It gets small and crowded when sofa bed is open. It was a tight room for wife, child and I. Everything else was great. Staff were awesome, room was clean, breakfast was good. Rate was good and so was location.

We loved staying here. Very close to the beach and freeway. The hotel was really clean. They provided a nice breakfast and 24 hour coffee and iced water. The pool and hot tub was clean. They clean your rooms everyday and the staff was extremely friendly! Will definitely stay here again.

This is a marvelous hotel. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, the spa, pool and workout center are wonderful and the breakfast buffet has everything you might want. There is also a fire pit at the front of the hotel which glows beautifully into the night and is a great place to relax alone or with friends. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms and a good hotel. Great for construction workers and travelers. I have stayed at several Extended Stays this year and this one seems that a lot of trash in the lot and back of the hotel. Cans are overflowing. I do love that the coffee is always ready before 6 when we have to leave do a job site.

This was just an average Motel at 8 more expensive price. Over $100 for one night and all they had for "breakfast" was awful coffee with no cream and stale knockoff granola bars. Stayed and booked 9 rooms for a family event. Came 1 month before to get the rooms on 1 floor only and was assured the it is set. But now the rooms are far from each other and different floors. No hot breakfast :( location is great though

Decent, quiet hotel in the dumpiest location Carlsbad has to offer. Watch out for the locals. Though they are comprised mostly of homeless drug addicts, they do keep to themselves.

Amazing property on the beach! They were so welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Having beach chairs and umbrellas to use was another big plus! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. No A/C but they had 2 large stand fans and ceiling fans so we were comfortable. Thank you!

We had a party of 20 stay here and we all were satisfied with our villas. We stayed in villa 5 which accommodated 9 of us perfectly. The rooms are well taken care of, beds are comfy, kitchen had pretty much what we needed. The view from balcony is perfect morning or afternoon. This place was great for our needs. The location is unbeatable. A block or two from Carlsbad Village (which is awesome), literally 100 yards to the ocean! The condo itself was remodeled recently and very clean. There are laundry facilities and ice machine access. Staff was very accommodating to us.

Initially had Unit 10 but it was not big enough and not enough space for us.... no view, no windows. We also had an issue with the bed, and the toilet not being bolted down. We upgrade it to unit 6 and from there on our visit was fantastic.

Very nice spot for the family footsteps across the street from the world famous state beach. The ocean was a little rough from the swells coming in. Definitely keep a little ones close. Kids free hotel! Heaven on earth!!! Rooms are modern, not super spacious but they made the most out of the space. Rooms come with convection microwave so you can do a small roast or get your cooking on. In-n-Out is about 13 min walk from the hotel. If you can’t find nothing to eat, it not a bad option!!! Breakfast hours end@9:30am during the week, so make sure you don’t miss it!

We had such an awesome time at the Hilton Garden Inn at Carlsbad Beach! The pool area was very relaxing, and we ended up there for most of the day even though the beach was right across the street. Affordable hotel with shuttle to Legoland. The rooms do not have carpet and make the floor very cold. There is also no elevator so if you're handicapped or have got a big luggage reconsider staying if it will be a huge inconvenience.

We had nice view of the ocean from our room with a balcony. The room was very nice, A/C was great since the weather was hot. Unfortunately I didn't spend much time at the hotel as I was in and out for work. From my limited experience, the hotel staff seemed friendly and accommodating, and the hotel seemed to have nice amenities (the outdoor pool area seemed beautiful). My room was clean and very spacious. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Carlsbad.

I stayed here with my wife and toddler son. Very nice place and we enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is regarding the early morning unsolicited phone calls from the concierge. The theme was fantastic, and the activities for kids were awesome - our kids had an absolute ball (almost as good as actual Legoland). Proximity to Legoland was so convenient! The buffet breakfast was good and nice to have it included in the price.

Our daughter love her Lego Friends themed room. It is beautiful, big, clean, and fun. :) Separate kids bunk bed quarter with its own TV is clever. We also love the short walk to Legoland and yummy free breakfast buffet. Our biggest disappointment was we prepaid for dinner buffet, buy it was closed on October 31 due to not enough customers. :(
