I've only been to a few hotels in my lifetime but the DoubleTree Hilton Head proven to be one of the best. The amenities are great, staff are generally prompt and helpful, and the little things like getting a cookie upon arrival and the sweet smell throughout is wonderful. Highly recommend anyone to stay at one of these hotels.

The wings are offered in the lobby bar as an appetizer but not in the restaurant. However, our very nice waitress was able to get them for us. If eating in the steakhouse, don't order the flatbread pizza. The crust was too thick. The crab cake was delicious!!

Very close to the airport. They provide regular shuttle service. Their is a convenient live Arrival and Departure screen in the lobby to get the status of your flight. Food is delicious. I attend many professional events at this hotel and their food and catering service is amazing. It's better than most highly rated hotels that I travel to out of town/ state. The only complaint I have is it's always very cold in there.

The hotel was really nice. It has a bar, restaurant, pool, and gym. They're all nearby each other too. The rooms are really nice too and its across the street from the convention center which comes in handy if your going to do something at the convention center.

Recently our client Marlin Ballard stayed here after a performance nearby, and had a very nice experience! The life of a touring entertainer can get quite exhausting and demanding at times and to have a place as nice as this to lay down for a few hours really can turn things around. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Couple things worth noting. Sink drain is clogged and barely drains. Kind of gross when you brush your teeth and the water drains so slow. Ceiling are very thin. Everything was clean. The room was spacious. I really liked the little convenience store in the lobby. I just have two minor complaints. 1. We could hear the snores and talking from next door. 2. The carpet made my feet itchy. I regret forgetting my flip flops.

Stayed a full week to attend corporate training. Received a warm welcome from Christy (red, short-haired woman). She was bubbly and able to multi-task well! Great breakfast buffet and loved the different lunches that were made available each day. Flavor was good and produce was fresh.

The place is nice. Location is good. Close to the freeway. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was different. Not on regular schedule. Always forgot to do something & I would get supplies from the office. No toaster in the room. Only single serve coffee available. Breakfast was mostly microwave items. Overall it was good.

I just expected more from a Marriott. Definitely needs improvement. Didn't really like the filthy water heater placement where my toddlers could get into easily.

My insurance company put me up here because I had work being done on my home because of a flood. They have a great breakfast that they offer in the morning. Rooms are clean and comfy.

Extended stays a few times & all I can say is I'm impressed at the great customer service & cleanliness of the place. Extended stay rates available and that's a plus for me. Also, Security guards actually do their job so it feels safe. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

This hotel was so clean! Really appreciated that especially because we have a little one who goes all over the place. The whole property is well kept. Very nice staff. Very clean, beds comfortable good size rooms. I had a room with two double beds, very roomy. Sheets and coverings high quality and soft on the skin. There was a plugged up sink, my the time we came back from convention it was taken care of. Has a free breakfast can't comment on that since I didn't eat there. It was attended by quite a few people.

The hotel room was small, but intimate.The shower was way too high. Pillows were too soft. The A/C was not very cold. The toilet ran without a jiggle to the flusher. Not the nicest location by the freeway. The pool is dinky. The breakfast was fresh, and staff were nice.

Check-in and check-out went smooth and easy. I like to make my own waffles and keep my ice packs against the coils in the back of the fridge.

I love everything about my stays at the Ayres Suites Ontario Mills. The staff are super friendly (recognized me and called me by name); the accommodations are always clean and comfortable; and the breakfasts and Happy Hours cannot be beat!! On the occasions that I use the shuttle service, the drivers are so friendly and courteous.

My 5 star rating is solely based on customer service of 2 employees of the hotel. One is Kelly and I didn't get the other employee's name. Kelly is very customer service oriented and has great resolution skills and the reason why I even took the time out to write a review. Kelly treats people with decency which is something you don't see enough of. Keep up the great work!

The room was nice. The beds we're comfortable and the room was pretty spacious. Nice full spread of breakfast choices. Kids love bacon and make your own waffles. Cute country decor. Lots of comfy pillows and blankets. Quiet halls. I sent my employee to Ayres Hotel for a business class for 3 nights. I chose this property for it's location and amenities. My employee tells me his stay was comfortable and clean. They have laundry for guests at $4.50 to wash and dry. They gave a covered patio attached to the pool (not in the pool area tho), for smokers to relax and be shaded from the sun, they have shampoo and conditioner (a convenience some hotels do not have) mini bottles in case you forget yours, which I did! Great room for a longer business stay, with a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Very comfy beds. Another person in my company said there was no mini fridge in their room, so if it's important to you, make sure to ask. I also heard that others had issues with room heaters, but mine was fine.

Not sure what is up with these bad reviews, staff was friendly and professional. My room was comfortable and quiet. The street did seem to have some transients but nothing that made me feel unsafe. Seems like they are remodeling their rooms! Lobby is closed and no breakfast being served but the Denny's was suitable.

This is a great hotel. Price is fair. Management is super nice. The rooms are huge and clean. Amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and ironing board with iron. Although neighborhood is older, it felt safe. Within one minute walk there is a Little Ceaser's Pizza, Subway and a Smart & Final grocery store. If you're in Ontario or surrounding areas, this is the one to choose!

This was the best room layout of any hotels we have stayed at in this price range -- including those across the U.S. and internationally. And we have stayed at many in our 50+ years of marriage. The middle section living/working area -- with separation of a sound barrier and a wall -- allows one party to use the bathroom, or work/read without waking/ bothering a sleeper.

Clean and very spacious room: 1 King Bed, Deluxe Room. There was a big stain on carpet and in bathroom but no hair and sheets were clean. The place gave off a fancy atmosphere but overall the place was a little run down. They did serve hot free breakfast! Hotel was right next to airport but you don't hear a lot of noise due to planes.

Beautiful rooms and convenient location for conventions. Very comfortable beds. Limited blankets/pillows provided but you can request more. Breakfast was just a plate provided for you very minimal. Toast and cereal as only other options. Drinks were either orange juice or coffee. Didn't get to check out their bar or dinner. Provided lots of outlet options in the room to plug in devices. The room was very nice. It had a queen bed and a couch that doubled as a bed. Service was good: towels were changed out, room was cleaned, the usual. The rooms are very spacious with a tv that has about 70 channels available. There is also a microwave and refrigerator to your disposal. The stay itself was enjoyable, but the room was not properly cleaned before we arrived. There was a takeout container in the fridge still, a dirty towel in the bathroom, and what looked like silly string on the walls of the room and bathroom. The best hotel suite I've been to this year. If I could give 10 stars I would. Treat you like family even the other guest who were staying there the same time as myself and hubby. Breakfast was great and room service awesome. Will definitely be making my way back here very soon. Thank you for the great experience ?
