Stayed over the Christmas weekend and loved it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They accommodated my family without any issues. My sister in law is in a wheel chair and they went above and beyond to make sure she was happy. They even had a beach wheel chair we were able to use. She hasn’t felt the beach in almost 20 years thank you so much to the staff for helping my family make great memories...

This place has been a hidden gem for years. With the changes made it is even nicer. The rooms are steps from the sand or pool. The views from the rooms toward the ocean are amazing. The sunsets are beautiful. Access to local restaurants are minutes away. If you want to get away from home but not go too far or spend thousands, this is a great get away with or without kids.

This might be the perfect family destination. 2 bathrooms in room and slept 6 comfortably. Walk to beach, great pool and spas. Mile drive to Toppers, a great pizza joint. Free breakfast was amazing. Beach was not crowded in the least. Poolside service was convenient

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. Many gardens and waterfalls. Big balcony. Lots of seating in the two-room suite. In the past I had a great experience at this hotel however the room we got tonight was still dirty from previous occupants. Room air conditioner was loud and not functioning properly and the room was hot /stuffy so we had to sleep with sliding door open to allow for air but no screen on glass slider either. The Hotel experience was pretty average. The first attendant at the desk was great but the second experience was poor. While looking for our room we asked a custodian for our room location and they brushed us off and told us to ask the desk. Our room was clean but the the lack of WiFi and poor quality TV it was pretty bleek for a modern day hotel setup.

Room offered first smelled of smoke. Management was helpful moving us. The next room was fine. Decent breakfast the next day, sausage, eggs, cereal, fresh waffles. The pool and hot tub were clean. Decent budget motel. Not a super convenient part of town for fast food or shopping.

Receptionist needs better communication skills. Over the phone I had reserved a room and was told check-in would be at 4pm, I arrive at 5pm just to find that there are no rooms available until 8pm. Booked a room with a Jacuzzi tub for the second time. Everything was clean and to my liking. The walls insulated street and neighbor noise nicely, parking was ample, and the owner was fantastic as always. Definitely going to be staying here again when the opportunity arises.

Rates seem good for 2 nights, we have a microwave and full size fridge. Staff seem nice, room is clean. Its a basic motel for basic needs, nothing fancy. Restraunts nearby. Room was cramped, nowhere to really put suitcases except for over the table, no real storage for clothing except bedside table.

They do all the cleaning themselves for the entire motel that's alot of work. They offered extra supplies as needed. The inside could use updating the bathroom is unique style. They do there best to keep up with needs being they are the only ones operating everything.

My stay was worth the money. Considering.the location is in an area that is now a much safer place to live in. I was able to relax and. enjoy my stay. The room was clean and had a good size tv. I didn't expect it would. I have no reason to stay at another motel if I am ever in that area again.

A real diamond in the rough I normally stay in Marriott or better 1st arriving looking at the building I thought I'll get a new hotel but because of time constraints, I went and checked out the room. Matt at the front desk made our vacation stay enjoyable with his great customer service. My family had a great time, location is great to venture around the surrounding cities. Rooms could use some updating and maybe just a bit cleaner. The buffet is definitely NOT worth it...you've been warned, for the price it does not justify the food options.

The Annual Dinner meeting for 200 guests was very well arranged except for the sound system l. We couldn't understand the speakers. The food was good for hotel food and the service unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend that we return here next year.

The rooms and finishings in this property were beautiful. the location was fantastic for walking around the marina. the food and service in the hotel restaurant the first night we’re fantastic. we had two fantastic males check us in, they were so polite and friendly.

The Marriott in Ventura is set right near the beach. You can easily walk to the beach from the lobby. The exterior is lovely and it has everything you would want from a Marriott. The work out space is super nice and the pool is clean and very pretty. I booked on line and sadly, the room I booked was gone. This did not please me and they really need to get that together and not blame their website...

Recently remodeled. Beautiful modern decor. Great bathroom with walkin shower. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Great bar with a decent menu. Only a couple of minute walk to the beach.

Such a cute place! The outside of the motel was so inviting, lots of flowers, murals, and a water feature, so well maintained! Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly! Rooms are spacious, clean, renovated, and even a full kitchen! Absolutely love and recommend this motel!

Ventura itself is facing a huge homeless and drug problem, so check the place out in person before booking. But that being said, the property itself was fine inside and the guy who worked the front was accommodating and nice (which is uncommon for budget hotels / motels)

This place is the 5 star of the budget class Motel ... Almost every room has a decent size kitchen with sove and oven ... Full size fridge and freezer .... It's really affordable and super clean. The staff is actually nice a d cordial ... Parking it kinda tight but it's centrally located and not Manny rooms so book it early if your planning a trip.

The shower was seriously THE BEST shower I've ever used in a hotel or at a resort. The kitchen was clean and beautifully remodeled. The owner was so friendly and genuine. I would definitely recommend this especially for people traveling with kids or if you are like us and like to bring/prepare your own food. Great,cheap motel. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Comfortable bed and great water pressure. Thee kitchen was very nice sparce utensils but enough for 2 to cook some basic stuff. Overall one of the best motels I've stayed at for the price.

We were in town to attend our granddaughters engagement party, the Amanzi was within 10 mins of the party location. Breakfast on both days was fresh and everything was available.

This hotel experience was perfect. Our room was huge, had a great layout and balcony. There was a furnace we could turn on that mimicked a fireplace. This was a great touch. Breakfast was excellent and we took more food to use as lunch while on the Channel Islands. The only downside for this hotel is that it is right next to I-101. You can hear it all night long.

This hotel has balconies and view. You can actually sleep with fresh air in the room. Rare luxury in new hotels. Now, ALWAYS friendly staff ( I’m lucky to be checked in by Brandon) Friendly attitude made my staying even better! I love to stay here when in area.

We had a great weekend! The hotel was a great spot, beautiful views, and grateful for a hot cup of coffee with a hot meal every morning. My partner and I felt comfortable and were treated with respect. We will be back.

I think the construction may be finished or almost final? Came over the 4th of July weekend and there were no scaffolds. Pool was open. Breakfast was provided and happy hour (beer, wine and wings) from 5-7pm. 7 min walk to the beach and shorter distance to get to a restaurant and downtown. Great location.
