Amazing staff. Amazing staff. A great relaxing experience with zero issues or things to improve. They did it right and continue. Pool with drinks and food, great restaurant with good size portions making the price very reasonable. Drinks are well done! Good cigars sold at the bar with great drinks. Best relaxing vaca in a long time.

Very well maintained and spacious grounds. Beautiful palm trees all around and even one growing through the roof of the restaurant.
Excellent service staff. Lots of areas and little enclosures where parties of 2-6 people could just sit and relax in quiet and privacy.

The Royal Palms Resort offers a truly charming experience. The staff is warm, friendly, and always ready to help, and the facilities are absolutely beautiful. The grounds feel like a fun little maze, full of hidden nooks and cozy spots that make exploring the resort a delight. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a unique atmosphere!

The best way to describe the Royal Palms is a wedding venue with some very dated but cute and cozy rooms attached.
Positives: in West US terms, it's historic, and the architecture is quite convincing. Lots of common areas with nice grounds. Staff were friendly. We got upgraded and a small anniversary amenity. The gym is surprisingly well equipped.
Negatives: nickel and diming in the worst way. $50 resort fee for well, just because. $40 mandatory valet parking (despite unlimited street parking opposite). A fridge you can't use, Vegas style. Although it's "historic", maintenance seemed lacking - furniture damaged, tiles cracked, etc. Our coffee maker area smelled damp. Overall, it just felt tired.
Dealbreaker: the wedding takes over the entire place. You feel like an intruder, paying highly for the privilege. Screaming guests when trying to enjoy the grounds, and loud music at night when you try to enjoy your patio.
I honestly cannot recommend this place above other resorts in the area. It just doesn't represent good value. Maybe visit the restaurant or bar (which is very cozy) on a colder winters night but stay somewhere else.

Amazing hotel for work or play. I visited for a work event and everything was perfect: setting, food, service, rooms. I upgraded to a Casita and it was very spacious. The vegetation and water features and architecture are all beautiful and calming. Only 15 minutes from PHX Sky Harbor airport.

It is beautifu!. The whole place feels like a spa. Very old world Mexico. I had my bridesmaids luncheon there years ago and it was wonderful. Also, the place is very romantic for a date and weddings or receptions. You won't be disappointed!

Didn't stay at the resort so can't say anything about it but the surroundings are beautiful and quaint. We had dinner at T. Cook's and enjoyed the food, well at least I did. Had the sea bass which was very succulent, the sauce was perfect and grilled asparagus and veggies cooked to perfection. My husband on the otherhand ordered the lamb which he said had no flavor and sent back, got the short ribs which also had no flavor but by this time he didn't feel like returning another dish. Dessert was very good. Our server was nice but did not give us quite the amount of attention for a restaurant of this caliber and price range.

I attended a dinner at thus establishment. The food was amazing and the place was very lively and full of energy for a Tuesday night. A great place for a professional dinner or a date night.

Charming, elegant, quaint, clean, delicious. Royal Palms is an authentic alternative to the sprawling and pretentious world of corporate resorts, despite being owned by Hyatt. I spent 3 days at Royal Palms on business and was allured by its intimate courtyards, abundant citrus trees, flowing water, and well-kept landscape.
The rooms were smaller than your average resort, but that doesn't mean they felt small. They were clean and well-worn.
The room service offerings were great. They make a delicious caeser salad and the salmon was top-notch.
One of the highlights of the trip was hiking to the summit of Camelback Mountain. Only a short 7 minute drive from the resort, this hike provides an amazing experience and view of the greater PHX landscape.
