Ramada by Wyndham Pigeon Forge North

Hotel is in the middle of renovation. When we checked in we were told the elevator was broken and they were short staffed. The room we were given was clean, but the furniture was old and stained. The next morning at 7:30am the workers were sanding on the wall outside our room and woke us up. They also had music playing very loudly in the hallways. We got dressed and decided to go ahead and check out. When I told the people at the front desk why were were leaving they were very nice and apologetic. They said we should have called the desk to tell them about the workers. I'm not sure what that would have done since we were already awake. They said the workers weren't supposed to start until 8:30 or 9...Would have loved to know that before we checked in. They seemed to think that was a reasonable time to be woken up. We had traveled all day and didn't check in until midnight. We had planned to sleep until at least 9 or 10am.
They did offer to refund us 25% of the room rate for our inconvenience. Would not stay here again.
