Magnificent views from the balcony and great pool and spa that kids loved. Room was spacious easily would accomodate bigger family than our 2+2.
This was a piece of paradise. We stayed here for 3 nights. Great location close to restaurants and a grocery store. Views were amazing and you can walk from the room to the beach down a private path. The pool made you feel like you were truly in a tropical place and not just a hotel pool. The restaurant had love music and great food.
The grounds and views are breathtaking. The employees are all so friendly and helpful. Lots of Aloha spirit here. It feels very relaxing, not so stiff and formal as some of the big corporate resorts. The pool is fabulous and the temp is perfect. The beds and linens were wonderful and the room was spotless. Perfect stay in this little piece of paradise
Awesome place to stay! We loved having access to the kitchenette during our vacation. It was super clean with a spectacular view and a very comfortable bed! The resort pool is one of the nicest I've ever seen. We didn't think we'd be spending time at the pool rather than the beach, but we enjoyed many nights there and in the hot tub!
From the moment we arrived on property we were in paradise. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in condo #4321 & 4322 which we will definitely be back. It’s clean, up to date with a cool island vibe. This condo had the amenities of any 5 star resort we’ve stayed at. We loved it and it’s very spacious. The kitchen is fully loaded, electric drapes throughout, high quality towels, bedding...
Honestly, I had read mixed reviews on this resort but it could not have exceeded my expectations. We exchanged a week on our timeshare with this location so the only problem I saw were people arriving that didn’t understand it was a timeshare. Not sure what the issue was but we did not experience any issues. The ground and pool were well-maintained and absolutely gorgeous. The views were the best in...

I went to an Airbnb. The view is so good. The room is okay. I wish it was on the 2nd floor rather than the 1st floor. But I had a good vacation.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was spacious with a large deck facing the ocean. Evenings were spent on the deck watching the moonrise and soaking up the incredible sounds of the big surf. It felt like quintessential Hawaii.
Really nice condos, great pool & spa area. They even have movies you can get from the main building to watch in your condo vs whatever is on TV. You can exchange your beach pool towels daily. Which is really nice and they are big and very absorbent.
Avoid staying in building 6 (106, 206, 306). No view or airflow thru unit. Also adjacent to laundry room that runs all night. That building should be turned into some other function.
Staying at Ka'eo Kai, part of the original Pahio resorts. We love this place and come here every time we visit Hawai'i. Beautifully refurbished units, lovely grounds, friendly staff, spacious units.
Pros: The views are magnificent. The staff are friendly. Cons: The appliances are severely outdated. The showers are smaller than the ones i had in ARMY basic training. No air conditioning.
Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.

it was an amazing accommodation. everything was clean and we felt comfortable right from the beginning.
We stayed in the Ohana house and loved it ! The house and kitchen were well stocked with everything we could need, and we really enjoyed having access to the kayaks and bikes.
It was beautiful there, the start of our Hawaii trip. To welcome us there were small treats, flowers and a fully equipped cottage. In addition, there was everything you needed for kayak ing, biking, for the kitchen or the beach incl. coolers. We had a view of the river and would like to come back anytime.
Had the most amazing stay at Fern Grotto Inn. It's a very cozy property with different sized guest houses and cottages. I stayed in CANAL A (Perfect for one person or 2 max). I was welcomed / greeted with a beautiful tropical floral arrangement. There were hibiscus flowers all over the room. The provided me a fresh lei on one of the towel arrangements, that I got to wear around my 1st day there....
Absolutely stunning! The owner and staff go the extra mile to make stays enjoyable for all of their guests. They keep a kayak, snorkeling gear, beach gear and many other things you might need on Kauai. The views from the property and the gardens are beautiful and the location makes accessing both the north and south sides of the island convenient. The room was well stocked and very clean with great...
This place is amazing. The amount of care they put into maintaining the property and ensuring the small details are perfect demonstrate their commitment to a phenomenal guest experience. The amenities offered including free rentals of beach equipment, paddle boards, kayaks, and the on-site washer/dryer make the stay very convenient. The local guidebooks in the rooms and the ability to pick your own...

Beautiful. Perfect location. Large, comfortable suite. Good food at the Oasis. Wonderful massage at the spa. Tons of fun in the pool - slides and lazy river. Relaxing. Loved eating on the patio and listening to the island. I'll stay here again.
Rooms well equipped and comfortable. EXCELLENT pool. Hot Tubs and slides to accommodate all ages and abilities. Lost of room to stretch out and find your spot. Beach access is rocky beyond the surf linf but perfect for enjoying the sand and waves. Saw a monk seal 6 out of 8 days in the beach. Losts to do in nearby area. Easy access to excellent restaurants and grocery. Only concern is that exterior...
If you're staying in kapaa this is one of the best places to stay. You have it all! Pool, grills, beach. What more do you need? Spa by the sea is incredible as well. Get the volcanic treatment and all for Taylor. She is the best and you will leave feeling like a new person. Beware of oasis restaurant however, not very impressive. I recommend JO2 right down the street. Amazing cuisine, wine and cocktail...
Stayed for a week with the family. The condo and the facility are great. The pool, gym, restaurant, beach are all perfect for a family stay. Also the grocery store across the street, as well as little town a few blocks away were great. Close access to an awesome walking path. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend and would certainly back.
Great River Pool, with slides, and hot tubes. The condo is great, with its own kitchen. You can buy food from several food stores across the road. We also got flash floods several days, 1-3" of rain per hour, we stayed high and dry. The ladies downstairs handled rental cars to helicopter rides. They also recommended a great beach to snorkel at; which my 4 son's had never did before. Not only did we...

Really friendly staff, relaxing pool and hot tub, lovely restaurant on the hotel property and central location. Service to change swimming towels any time you want to is great too!
Beautiful beach on property. Lounge chairs to sit on the beach in the evening and listen to the ocean. Absolutely relaxing, be careful though, you may fall asleep. Front desk staff and housekeepers were all friendly and always helpful. Only 2 floors, which is nice, less crowded. Our room was clean and beds were firm which is how I like it. Parking is first come first serve, but they have valet parking...
Nice hotel overall — clean and quiet. Check in and check out went very smooth. Housekeeping is very efficient and kind. Parking is very limited at nighttime, not as bad during the day. We didn’t have any problems finding parking, but we also didn’t stay out very late in the evening and had a sedan. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Kauai — good value for cost overall.
Great location. This particular facility has not been remodeled in a long time and the rooms definitely show that. It does not have very nice rooms. The facility is kind of old.The location is great. Service is very good. Definitely worth it. Very good food but lots of birds eating the food from the table you eat at. They are very pretty birds though good pictures. Not a good place to bring children...
I was a little worried after reading some reviews but we were so impressed with this hotel, especially the grounds. So beautiful! The staff were amazing. The beach right out back was actually one of our favorite on the island, it was the perfect place to watch the sunrise everyday. The smoothies at the lava lava beach club were so good. I would absolutely stay here again
For the price, it gets 5 stars. You get a really good bang for your buck. The hotel invested in what matters most for vacation. First, the beds were quite comfortable. Second, the amenities were nice. There are 2 pools and a v. nice hot tub and it's by a beach (an OK one). House cleaning was better than I expected. The restaurant was by the beach and the live music was good. The early morning yoga...

Room was clean and comfortable. I had booked an ocean view room and the view from my balcony was great. The garden was also beautiful. Like name suggests, the hotel is right at the beach. There are several restaurants nearby at walking distance. The beach is great to watch sunrise. There is no house keeping unless you stay more than 5 nights. Although, being close to the beach, the room requires more...
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Islander. It has been quiet, peaceful, and friendly, and there are a lot of good places to eat within comfortable walking distance from the hotel. And the ocran view from our lanai is mesmerizing. Yeah, we'd stay here again!
Rooms could be updated. Ac didn’t work in the beach fronting room the first night. 2nd night we moved rooms but then was upstairs when we specifically wanted to walkout to the beach. So that was disappointing, but AC was more important. Location to beach was amazing!! Always had chairs to lounge in and the beach was amazing and relaxing.
Our room was absolutely perfect! Everything you needed in a mini kitchen, minus a stove! Our room had a queen and a pull out bed. They were very comfortable and the bedding was great. It was VERY clean when we arrived and felt welcoming. They do not have daily housekeeping, but that was fine. Anytime I needed a fresh bath mat or a random sheet, they were happy to provide it. They also had pool towels...
We got a beach view room on the ground level, it was wonderful! So nice to have such beautiful grounds and easy access to lounge on the beach. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the accommodations were just perfect for us. Hands down the best landscaping for miles. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops, local accredited farmers market included on Tuesday and Thursday. Nice parking and...
Fantastic friendly staff. Convenient access to airport and in the middle for sightseeing north shore one day and south shore another.
