Hotels in Ruidoso

So we booked a room and when we looked around we noticed the pool was closed (being out door in winter) my two younger kids were pretty bummed out. We went to the front desk and the older gentleman let us cancel our room. This was our mistake but we will comeback and stay there when it gets warmer. The hotel was a little older but very nice and well taken care of! Everyone there was friendly!

Wow. Never have I ever seen a cleaner hotel!! Immaculate!! Friendly owners as well. Breakfast buffet served in the mornings. Spacious rooms! So glad I checked it out. I have friends coming in for the holidays and not enough room at my house. The restaurant K-Bobs right down the street as well as fast food restaurants right around the corner. Super convenient to everything. Plenty of parking.

Room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good too. It was our first time staying at a hotel in the many trips we have taken to Ruidoso and we will definitely be staying here again!

Nice hotel, big rooms, clean and good price relation. Nice is also the breakfast. nothing special, but good that it is offered.

Friendly motel staff. Breakfast area clean but short on food ( bread,sausage, potatoes) other than that good.

Had a great room and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and the waffles were very good. We'd definitely stay there again. The price was around 123.00 including taxes. For Ruidoso that's a bargain.

Beautiful grounds, walking distance to shopping & eating places. Peaceful location. The condo we rented was lovely. We enjoyed the fireplace and private porch.

Our family had a great stay here in a 2 bed/2 bath condo (specifically, 1303 - Midtown Mountain Escape) Checking in was seamless, as we received the door code before arrival. Ample parking allowed us to park right next to the stairs. The location was great for access to the main street. 2-minute walk to Downshift Brewing and multiple stores. My wife and I had such an amazing time here for our anniversary! The price is really good for a beautiful room in a beautiful location. It's located right behind the road in Midtown with all the shops/great places to eat. Definitely will be staying here again!

We had a beautiful suite with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I would have 5 starred, but toilets are not ADA compliant, no grab bars to help you get up from them. Although this is the first place I've stayed that I didn't have to purchase my own bath mat to keep from slipping while getting in and out of the shower, they supplied one. Also, no grab bar for the shower. Lack of ADA compliance is an issue...

Visited some friends that were staying there. Looks like a very nice, well maintained condo complex. My understanding is that the majority of units are privately owned and rented out.

Everything about this place was on point. If I could make one suggestion that would make this top notch would be a hot tub for guest use. We would have LOVED to sit in one after our day out. Otherwise, we would still stay here again!

I had read reviews on here about no hot water, dirty rooms, etc. When me and my team mate rented the room here. Room was clean. No bugs. There was hot water, the front desk clerks were nice and very helpful. Would rent a room here again.

One if the best I have been to of this chain. Super friendly staff and was told by a guy that works there that the whole place will be completely renovated within several weeks...the place is nice enough for what it is, that it doesn't need any real work done from what I could see. Wow, kind of hard to explain with words how great the staff member who should be a manager is when you come in! Sheila is awesome & went out of her way to help us & make sure we were comfortable. We booked our room last minute & barely had enough to stay & she went out of her way to help us out. The room was perfect, plasma screen & clean. My family and I stayed 5/4-5/5/18. We loved it. The staff was great. Couldn't ask for more professional persons aiming to please. Reserved earlier in morning. Room was ready early p.m. Thank you both Viral, and Sheila. We will be back, and recommend anyone looking for a comfortable bed and quite atmosphere to do the same.

This is an amazing place. The employees are so nice and the pool and hot tub are clean. The beds are soft and rooms are clean. It's located 15 min from ski resort and smokey the bear park. It's a great place to stay with great prices. Ask for Teddy G he will definitely take care of your family like he did mine

Thought this was a great stay! Services we received were very satisfactory for the price paid. Only draw back that affected me was the fact that there was only one ice machine for the entire facility, but in all fairness I have to say that I had enough ice(our room was not equipped with a fridge).

You gotta try the cabin that has the Jacuzzi. Plus, the cabins very clean the whole place is picturesque and very beautiful.

Had an absolute amazing stay here at the cabins!! From every angle you can ask for an adventurous, relaxing, calming, warming and all the above!! The Gazebo was an additional bonus! My Friends, Family and I were able to sit out and hang out all night because of the accommodating fire table and heat lamps the provided ample warmth for comfort and the led lighting that provided plenty of light to see...

Nice little cabin, would have been a nice little stay. Unfortunately for us the ppl renting the bigger cabin next to us were extremely loud and obnoxious all night long. I do recommend staying here cause it is quaint and quite lovely, just would have been a nicer stay if the people staying next to us weren't so rude, loud and obnoxious and had some common courtesy of other people.

This is my fourth time at canyon cabins. Each time my family stayed at a different cabin. Every time we had a wonderful experience! So far Mama Bear is our favorite. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I was expecting a small location but it was really spacious and the amenities were excellent. The attitude and assistance provided by the staff were excellent. I will definitely be visiting again.

Great spot right around all the shops in Ruidoso! Comfy atmosphere, free breakfast and friendly staff. Lots of amenities. It is not the nicest hotel but a comfy stay at the right price. Will stay here again!

It was a great hotel for price. It was just a little older than I expected. Still clean and seemed recently updated. There is only one elevator, two would've been better. Ample parking all around the hotel. The hotel is a block off of the street, walking distance to many shops and eateries.

Absolutely awesome!!! We stayed there in October on our way back to Arizona coming from 2 weeks in Austin. It was just supposed to be a pit stop for the night but the room was so comfortable and everybody was so nice we decided to book another night especially after 2 weeks with my family it was a nice addition to our vacation. Very pleasant stay at Hotel Ruidoso! The location is unbeatable and the room was large and cozy. A big plus was the willingness of the front desk staff to provide excellent customer service and accommodate our request to switch to from queen room to a king room out last night without issue. Wish every hotel I stay at had customer service this exceptional. Thank you guys for a great weekend stay!

It was a great stay! Had some trouble booking online but Annabell and the rest of the staff were amazing. She was super helpful in getting the booking issues all worked out. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend you visit Annabell and the crew at Hotel Ruidoso!

I have stayed here with a friend and would not mind living there. The management is very nice and professional. The condos and grounds are clean and well taken care of.

Needed last minute event space and Asia was wonderful in accommodating us!! Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed before the event! Would recommend many times over if you need event space. The clubhouse is a great size. Reasonable price.

The views, the pool/hot tub, the room, balcony, fireplace, and overall facility were great!Everything was clean, looked great, and provided a peaceful enviting Ruidoso experience.

the staff is very helpful i had room problems and the fix them right away i have been coming here for about 30 years and always is superb service.

The views from the majority of units are wonderful. Not sure if all units are maintained differently and recognize that some might be better maintained than others. The unit we stayed in had beds that were extra firm and the furniture could use some cleaning for stains. Our experience was pleasant.

We had a great visit! Beautiful views of the mountains! It snowed! Small pool & exercise center but everything was clean & neat. We had a nice 2 bedroom & 2 bath & a kitchen with everything in it. We enjoyed cooking here but Ruidoso has great eateries as well. Great shopping in town with unique gifts to buy & take home. Friendly & helpful staff.

Cute condo! 2 bedrooms and a loft with a bed. 2 full bathrooms. The condo wasn't clean when we arrived, you could actually see dirt along the baseboards! The kitchen had the bare essentials that was needed to cook, thankfully we had brought extra utensils, cooking pots and kitchen towels. The bed mattress was so uncomfortable, when you would lay down on the bed, it would actually bend in the middle...

Stayed 3 days and found our little cabin #11 very suitable to our needs. The cabin was very clean, and had all the basics. Bring your own coffee! Coffee maker with one package was there. Nice place very clean. But for the price you should have a mini fridge to use . Or they should have an ice maker avaliable for guests ! Overall our stay was great!

We stayed there last week and we enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were cozy and clean and the beds were comfortable. We liked the kitchenette, and having a tv in each room. We would stay there again.

Nice big room… be careful by the swing on the hill very slippery and uneven ground. I fell and rolled 15-20 feet stopping just before the cliff drop … bruised and cut my eye/ face … other that we enjoyed our stay

For the money, the hotel was perfect. My room was clean and recently refurbished. The staff was friendly. Definitely an older hotel

Pros: Easy check-in/checkout, friendly staff, big rooms, great view of the surrounding area, big tv with lots of channels, comfy beds, good water pressure/temperature in shower and very quiet. Cons: Older hotel, no microwave, fridge wasn’t working properly. - things that aren’t too important for me since it I was an overnight stay but might be inconvenient when staying longer. I enjoyed my stay. I was a bit worried as it is an older motel and the outside is showing its age. That being said I am glad I gave it a shot. My room was very nice, the staff were accommodating, they are also pet friendly. I will definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic establishment. Comfy rooms and friendly people. We stayed here for five days and enjoyed every minute of it. Fresh baked muffins and delicious hot coffee for breakfast were perfect to start the morning off. The beds were so comfortable I almost didn't want to leave it .... But the coffee and muffins were calling my name. We never did get to make it to the sauna but we'll definitely...

Ahh the Sitz, what can I really say other than WOW! This place was great, the lady who checked me in was super nice and the room had a certain, well let’s call it charm to it. But seriously it’s a great little place right on the main shopping drag. “Why stay at the Ritz when you can experience the SITZ.”

Really quaint and very comfortable. TERRIFIC VALUE FOR THE PRICE. I really enjoyed my stay here, the place has such a homey and cared for feel. Very unlike the chain hotels. The personal touches around the place really make you feel as is you’re in a home style environment. My only disappointment was the cracked floor in the shower, but that really didn’t detract from all the pluses.

Absolutely a beautiful place Amazing people who allowed me to bring my service dog, they are very welcoming and didn't have any issues nor Access denied when it came to my service dog The rooms where very pretty! 100% recommend it! Also the muffins were so freaking good!! 😁

I highly recommend the Sitzmark. Very clean, well-maintained, and nice decor. Free premium coffee and freshly baked muffins in the morning, and a very friendly innkeeper. And nice outdoor spaces to gather.
