I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and I was impressed. The hotel's business facilities were amazing, providing everything I needed to conduct my meetings and work efficiently. The room was comfortable and well-designed, with a spacious desk and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff was professional and attentive, and the room service was great.

Location great right off freeway but not noisy. Clean rooms and lobby. Simple hotel, nothing fancy, but efficient. If you forgot anything small 99 cent store 3-5 minute walk away and San Clemente outlets 15-20 minute walk away 2-3 minute drive.

Been to a lot of HI Express locations ... this is probably the most beautiful. Location near the 5 was not a problem either. Walking distance to the beach was not bad, good sidewalks, lighting and crosswalks. Walling distance to the outlets is not bad either... just dont buy more than you can carry :)

Great parking, kids loved heated pool. Breakfast was great with lots of options from freshly cooked pancakes, chobani yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, omelets etc… Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots to see close by , great location!

Been to a lot of HI Express locations ... this is probably the most beautiful. Location near the 5 was not a problem either. Walking distance to the beach was not bad, good sidewalks, lighting and crosswalks.

Great location with easy access to the beach and outlet malls. Newly renovated with clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Staff provides excellent customer service and are very accommodating to individual requests. I have stayed at this location multiple times and will continue to do so.

The room patio door was unlocked and slightly open when I first walked in to the room, which was a little concerning. When changing the thermostat, the heater emitted an unpleasant smell. The shower curtain did not look clean at the bottom.

Freda is a phenomenal hostess and provides amazing gourmet breakfasts. The rooms are romantic and private. The location is outstanding with restaurants and beaches a short walk away. We are planning multiple return visits. What a great escape!

Excellent location and Freda is a good host and fun person to talk to. The breakfasts were tasty and she took care to make vegan options for my girlfriend. The decor is quirky and fun which suited our tastes just fine. The location is great you can walk to just about anywhere of interest. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a perfect vacation here. Great location, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go yet the property is very private thanks to many beautiful plants, succulents, and trees. I loved sitting on the back porch feeling the breeze that always blew through there. Wonderful host, Freda! She is so kind, generous, helpful and she makes an amazing breakfast. After a difficult past year, my daughter and I planned a very last minute to stay at Always Inn. Freida was a breath of fresh air. She went above and beyond in taking care of us! She made us dinner reservations, watched our dog so we could enjoy a nice dinner, bought special snacks for us to accommodate dietary restrictions and on and on. I still rave to everyone about the amazing breakfasts we had...

Had a phenomenal stay here. Freda was a very gracious host, and made me feel right at home immediately. It felt like I was staying with a close family friend! Such a treat to find this place in the center of town. It is covered in beautiful plants and her cooking is phenomenal. Highly recommend this place for folks looking for an authentic experience as opposed to the many overpriced tourist traps...

Could not have asked for a better experience. We were spoiled with treats and chocolates and advice for the best local places to visit around town. Very kind and hospitibal and I got a perfect nights sleep every night. I highly recommend this place, lots to do in walking distance as well.

I 100% recommend this hotel. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay and it was nice and clean. The Wi-Fi speed was also great and the location pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by the SC Inn. The room was spacious. There were two Murphy beds in addition to the bedroom, a kitchenette and living room. We didn't use any of the amenities since it was a quick overnight stay, but the space allowed me to move around in the morning without disturbing my wife. It's a clean and decent place. Close to ocean and several local bars. I was there for a local event and the price was pretty good. Staff was friendly and efficient. Air conditioning was a little noisy at times until I found the right setting for sleeping. Free breakfast came in handy when I was in a hurry to get going. Excellent value for money. The rooms are a bit dated but our king suite was lovely and large. Great shower! The breakfast was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful (especially the breakfast lady). We used the pool and the laundry too. Close enough to the pier, restaurants etc to walk with some on the doorstep. Can't recommend San Clemente and Casablanca highly enough.

Great little getaway. Had a blast in the pool with the little one. Room clean, helpful staff, soft linens. Close to lots of great restaurants (Selma's downtown, El Ranchito) & the Outlets!! And you just can't beat the beach breeze all day.

Very close to the beach. We loved being close to food places along with being about to walk to the beach and pier. Loved everything about this quaint Inn...by the sea. Right by the water, and many restaurants, coffee shops, and more so close. The management, running the Inn, were very kind. Our rooms were in perfect condition, upon check in. Also, very well appointed. Enjoyed our relaxing stay, and will definitely stay again!

My sister and I spent an early Christmas at Seahorse Inn and it was absolutely amazing! We had A 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect with a beautiful view of the ocean! It had everything we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The local restaurants were fantastic and local shopping was great! We are looking forward to our next holiday at the Seahorse! We had a two bed apt, one street back from the coast. Fantastic apt, great balcony with great view. The train is always going to be a possible issue on the front at San Clemente, but being a row back with bedrooms at the back of the apt it was no issue at all. Pricey but great. Only issue we had was WiFi going down, a small inconvenience.

Abraham offered me excellent customer service! I will definnitely The location is absolutely incredible. The rooms are amazingly large and beds are so comfortable. I was in the King bed a jet tub and balcony!! Philip is the greatest manager as well.

The place was great for what it was (a 2 star hotel). No frills, decent hot breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed. The bathroom by the laundry was kind of scary though (the toilet wouldn't flush). Gym was kind of sad but like I said, great for what it was. Service was great. Parking was great. My only issue was the smoking area. But I hate cigarette smoke but I am definitely biased. We weren't there...

One of the best places to stay in San Clemente!! Reasonably priced, comfortable bed and a family suite! Many other amenities too! You won't be disappointed!

The rooms are spacious . I have a son in a wheelchair so I get nervous going to hotels when I don't ask for the handicapped room. No problem with these rooms. And the continental breakfast was great. And great variety to choose frim

Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach is a nice but older place. The people who work her are very helpful and friendly. There aren't many people staying here but we are in the off season. It is very close to I 5 a great acess.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The only bad thing about the room was that the sliding door didn't completely seal which not only allowed extra outside noise into the room, but smoke as well. This was especially a problem, because I have asthma and having to smell the cigarette and marijuana smoke that came into the room (likely from someone smoking on their balcony) was not pleasant. The location was everything the room was great except couldn’t get the stove to work couldn’t cook and office wasn’t answering the phone after a hour and a half we decided to check the power box shut it off and rebooted the power everything came on besides that great stay

This is not only an awesome location, close to restaurants and shops but very close to the water. We were also pleasantly surprised on how beautiful and comfortable our room is. We’ve enjoyed visiting with Shannon and guests in the owners lounge. We hope to return to San Clemente Cove and will recommend this lovely resort to our friends!

We had an exceptionally relaxing vacation at San Clemente Cove! We went to the beach daily and our hosts provided umbrellas, chairs and beach towels which was a true luxury. The staff was helpful and efficient 100% of the time and the location across from the San Clemente Pier just can't be beat! Thank you for a glorious relax, until we meet again.

Great place to stay if you want to be very close to the beach, like walking distance. The rooms with balcony's was fantastic, and my view was unbelievable. The only thing ( which is NOT their fault ) is I had a van for my business work, and it did not fit in there underground parking. I had to park on the street. I was able to park right in front of the hotel, so all was good !

We adored this spot you cannot beat the view and location. They are open 9 to 5 so you won't be able to speak with anyone before or after that time. We were still able to get an early check in and the rep was gracious enough not to charge us. We stayed in Casa Del Sol. It didn't have a beach view buy the jacuzzi tub made up for it. Location was amazing which is why this isn't a lower score. There was no AC in our room and we were not told about that prior, not even at check in. Unfortunate because the area was experiencing a "heat wave". Looks like it was broken and wouldn't be fixed until later. A few lights were out, wasn't the cleanest and just a few other things not up 4 or 5 star rating.

Just returned from a wonderful vacation in San Clemente! Casa Tropicana was an awesome place to stay! All the staff was super friendly and helpful!! The room was very clean and you can't beat the location. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed here for a mini vacation with our 2 small kids. It's a great location with more than a few places within walking distance. The room was really cute and clean and had a very roomy bathroom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only real complaint would be that the beds are a little hard for my personal liking.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE – newly renovated and conveniently located in the heart of San Clemente. My particular room was quite large, had an open balcony with a nice view of the Pacific ocean and was equipped with a HUGE TV! Location is right next to Highway 5 so we could hear cars passing from our room. The bed was very comfortable but for the price we would have appreciated breakfast. Nice outdoor seating areas. Ice machines on the floors were not working so we had to get it from the front desk (sandwich size zip lock bag). Staff were all very helpful and nice.

I've gone to this hotel for years. It's not as laid back as it used to be but it's a good middle of the road hotel. Nothing special but there's bad a TV and a great Mexican market and eatery just up the street around the corner. They're also smoking rooms.

We were originally stayed at the awful hostel called house of trestles but that fell thru because we felt unsafe. We felt safe and welcomed here. Very nice owner/manager. The room was neat and clean. A good location with a nice breakfast place just a block away, Rae’s Cafe’, since the hotel does not offer a free breakfast this is a great alternative. We enjoyed our stay here. There is limited parking so if bringing a large vehicle parking on the street may be necessary.

I love this place. The price is affordable for the area. Its one of the cleanest Roadway Inn's that i have seen. The location is not too far off the freeway and its not too close to the freeway. Which is a plus in my book.The majority of the staff is extreamly friendly. They are very accomidating. No complaints from me. For the price 10/10!

Perfect place to stay if you're from out of state. You can walk to the ocean and food selections nearby are great. Also a few blocks south is a nice local shopping district.

The location is very good. The room was clean and roomy. I do consider it to be a good value for the money. It is not the Ritz, but it is really good for the price. Best of all was the clerk. He had to call me twice because I made an error in booking and because my plane was so late in arriving. He was the nicest clerk I have ever dealt with in 100s of hotel.

Tidy, professional staff, reciept at check in. Room was missing a bedroom screen 3rd floor, no window security bolt. Bed was crackly and smelled a bit like urine. Shower head was leaking so turned to tighten fell off in tub water shot me in the face. Road noise unbearable! Single pane window glass. Stuffy but no screen can't open window. Parking good. Near food, gas, shops, beach.

This is their second time staying there, and it's family-owned... Some of which are not the happiest of people... But very confident very efficient... And the rooms are very very very comfortable their newly decorated very clean, and will maintain... Just a very cozy feel... The front desk clerk clearly didnt want to be there was was unimpressed we wanted to check in. This property is located in proximity to the 5 freeway in San Clemente on the North Side, adjacent to it is located Hapa J's a Hawaiian restaurant. Hapa J's have good delicious fresh food. Smoking and non smoking queen beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, television, coffee maker, room can be connected within the same room inside the same room. Room was very clean and in great condition, staff was great. I was on the back side and did not notice any freeway noise. Parking was mostly in a small parking garage with a low ceiling with a few more spots in the back, if you have a large vehicle I would check ahead first. The staff was great making sure I was able to park where I would be comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this 2-star hotel. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. The balcony on the room is qondwonde, especially in the morning at night - although the sound from the road is loud. We were attending a wedding at Wedgewood, which is a quick walk from the hotel. This was a nice sized hotel room. We evacuated to here from Oceanside during the Lilac fire. We used the bed the couch and brought our queen sized aero bed. There was still room in the suite for us to move around and not feel too cramped. The parking in the garage was cramped but there was lots of parking out back.

I would add: the guy checking you in difficult to understand, but friendly and helpful once you get here. When you first enter the room there is a moderate to strong smell of pine sol. The beds are way too soft. Think shallow hammock in a hard wood frame...

Hot and cold water were reversed in the shower. No microwave. Other than that, the room was clean, smelled nice and was spacious for a stay lasting multiple days. Convenient location 1/2 block to I5. Donuts across the street!

Had a one-night get-away with husband, mother and toddler son. It is a one of a kind hotel: very clean, great rate for a 2-bdr, near the Pier (I took the train down there!). This remodeled boutique beach hotel is perfection! Joyce is awesome, kind-hearted and just a really beautiful person. The rooms are nice and bright and clean, tastefully decorated, with a huge Roku TV and super comfortable bed. I love that they let you park for free literally right up to your door. The hotel is on the main drag and right next to a fwy on ramp, it's affordable and close to everything...

The stay at Garden Cottage Casita itself was unique because Aneta's place is unique. Overall, San Clemente is impressive. The area is very calm. The owners are very hospitable, smiling always happy. Aneta took care of the smallest detail, a surprise was waiting for us on the table. They kept asking if we needed anything or if we were happy. We had the pleasure of staying here for a week in August. The accommodations were perfect as we were looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge. The Cottage had just been redone and had everything we needed. Loved that we had our own kitchen for nights we did not want to go out. I absolutely love this location!! It fits all of our family needs and is so close to everything that we love in San Clemente. Highly recommend this place. Nomad's, of course, has an amazing restaurant, so it's super convenient for eating. The room was beautiful and we can't wait to return! Staff here is extremely helpful.

Nomad’s is totally great!! I stayed in the boat room for two nights and everything was awesome! Great location in such an awesome town. The boat room was perfect as a solo traveller and I had plenty of space for my board and gear. Will definitely be back! The upstairs bar is great and the poke bowl is exactly as advertised- one of the best!

The location was great, and we liked the decor. The rooms have been recently remodeled and the bathroom was great - very good shower. Beds were comfortable and the linens are also nice. Not a fan of the noise. Restaurant closes at 10 and clean up is over by 11, which is acceptable. Unfortunately, people hang out on the terrace for HOURS and the sound carries all too well.

Our stay was excellent! We stayed in the Bali room and it was super rad. Very clean and spacious! Our twin boys were stoked as well! They each got their own bed. The shower had alot of hooks for wetsuits and there were surf racks in the room. A great place for us to have our own personalized surf camp. We'll definitely come back:)

Such a cool little spot to stay! Everything exceeds our expectations. The room was decorated nicely with bright colors, the bed was extremely comfortable, mini fridge and microwave w/a nice coffee set up. You get 2 free drinks which was a nice welcome!
