Rimfire
Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive Building 10 🧭 Map
I absolutely love staying at Rimfire Lodge. Especially our favorite unit we rebook every time, Rimfire Lodge Unit Number #144. It's just a sweet, cozy unit. King bed, fireplace, a cute half kitchen is all we need as we are there for the skiing. The view of the mountains from our window is gorgeous. Guaranteed snow year round. I highly recommend staying in Snowshoe Mountaibs Rimfire Lodge Unit #144...
Our room was nice but dated. Each condo is individually owned, so I would probably pick the same resort but an updated room. We will absolutely be back again because this place is amazing.
I'm giving it 3 stars because of location only. The public parts of it definitely haven't been touched in decades. We stayed this past week in room 256 on the Southside - a 1 bedroom unit with pullout couch. The room itself was just blah. The pull out couch has got to be over 10 years old and was just miserable for my 2 tweens. I couldn't imagine a full size adult sleeping in it. The bedroom...
Home away from home. We stayed in #350 for 3 nights. I get away that was so relaxing. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub area was just what the Dr. ordered, with a beautiful view. Restaurants and shops so convenient, literally out our back door. Also, everyone we came in contact with were so friendly. I will be back!!!
Cool place to stay in the heart of snowshoe village. Easy walk to the slopes, shops and restaurants, yet still a small village experience. The place is just a little dated, but more than adequate for a 4-day stay. There is garage parking, but it's $20 a day now. My room had a Murphy bed, a couch, small fridge, small stove, and a microwave. I mostly ate in the room and that worked out really well. When...
The room can be a bit too small for 4 people, but it has reasonably functional kitchen which is great for those of us who want to cook our own meals. The underground parking is an added bonus.

Been coming to Snowshoe for 20+ yrs. Have stayed at Seneca for about the last 10 yrs. There are nicer places but overall location and accommodations are hard to beat.
A little on the expensive side, but worth it due to the excellent location next to the equipment rental center (Expedition Station), the ski slopes and the village restaurants and shops. The attached, secure underground parking area is very convenient, especially in inclement weather. Unit 102 is adequate for 2 people. The kitchenette included a cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, small...
We made a spur of the moment trip to Snowshoe 3 days before Christmas & were lucky enough to get in Snowshoe Mountain! Our Lodging was in Seneca. We had a one bedroom facing the pool unit 116. The view of the large outdoor hot tub was nice. And the walk to ski rentals & lessons is very easy. The restaurants were really struggling and we had a very hard time getting reservations or anyone on the phone...
This was our second year staying in Seneca and it was another great trip. The rooms are a bit dated, but if you go to Snowshoe you're there to be on the mountain. Everything was clean and the parking garage underground is fantastic when the weather is bad. We will 100% stay in Seneca on our next trip.
Great place to stay at the Village at Snowshoe. We came for Wanderlust and this was a great location: right at the heart of everything. There was indoor parking so we didn't have to walk far. The room was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils to make meals. The balcony even had a nice set of chairs and table to enjoy. Will definitely be back.
Small room. Says it's for two to four people. We're struggling for space with two people and our gear.

Great place. Very quiet while I was there. Pretty decent view of the balcony. The underground entrance from the parking lot helps a great deal once you realize it's not just for employees. It's not cheap, but It's hard to beat for the price. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
The views were amazing! We enjoyed walking around the village and using the trails to explore! We how to come back soon!
Good location, everything is walkable to the slopes, restaurants, and shops. Load and unload at Brigham Center, where they have carts to put your luggage on, but you have to do it yourself. A hallway under the village leads to elevators to your room. After finished unloading, parking across the street. Convenient, free lockers for skiing gear and locker room for getting ski gear on. Kitchenette...
The fitness centre on the second floor has a nice balcony with two jacuzzis and an amazing view of the stars.

Allegheny Springs
Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive Building 7 🧭 Map
Magical experience over Christmas 2022. Equipment lockers convenient to the lifts, central to shops and restaurants, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Rooms are nicely appointed with gas logs, well equipped kitchens. Wildcat Groceries is within convenient walking distance. Overall wonderful time.
I spent four days and three nights at Allegheny Springs and absolutely loved it. It is located in the heart of the snowshoe Mountain Village with beautiful views in all directions. The staff is very helpful and check in was very easy the pool was beautiful and I felt very secure there. I was able to keep my mountain bike locked up in the ski locker room which was great. My room was fantastic I had...
The staff at Allegheny Springs is absolutely fantstic! There is a nice spa on the lower level that comfortable and soothing with fairly priced treatments. My junior suite came with mini fridge, two burner stove, coffee pot, a toaster and a microwave - making it perfect for low cost breakfast and snacks, allowing for splurging at dinner. Also the pool and hot tub are comfortable and warm!
I would...
Great location for ski in/out and to do all the village has to offer. Clean well cared for rooms and properrty. Well priced. What we didn’t like was hearing screaming kids in the pool from our fourth floor room at 10pm at night. Not that an idiot parent is the hotels fault but they didn’t respond when they said they would quiet it down. A sound proof door could have resolved it as well. Not exactly...
Just stayed here over Superbowl weekend. The room and building are certainly well used, but nice enough. Ski boot wear and tear is certainly something that is noticeable, but understandable considering the location.
What we didn't like was the quality of the TVs in the rooms. Our primary point of being there was to ski, but secondarily, to watch the big game. We had to watch on maybe a 30" square...
Great accommodations for the Snowshoe village. Rooms are not huge, but big enough. Convenient to the slopes and the village. One elevator was frequently broken, but was tolerable considering we were on the second floor. Hopefully they get it fixed for those on higher floors though. Bath tub drain plug did not work, which made baths difficult. Gas fireplace was nice.

Inn at Snowshoe
Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive Building 19 🧭 Map
We traveled here this past week before Christmas. I don't know if there is another place like it in the east cost with a little village with restaurants and stores and having so many trails open this early in the season. I highly recommend getting reservations if you are planning to eat out. We didn't and couldn't get into a place to eat for dinner and this was midweek. We stayed at Rimfire...
Stunning views, fun village with restaurants and bars, even has its own Starbucks- which is always swamped in the mornings-get up early if you don’t want to stand in line! Lots of beautiful places to stay. Great mountain bike riding. Host of UCI DH World Cup. Amazing venue.
Summer visit. Spent 3 days there for the 4848 Festival. Nice accommodations at Expedition Station close to everything. Two main stages plus the boathouse area stage featuring live music. Over 18+ acts performing different genres of live music high on the mountain. Vendors, crafts, food, beer, children's activities, swimming, kayaks, mountain biking, lift rides, shopping, something for everyone.
Love this place! The views on the drive up are amazing, only to be topped by the Village where all the main eats and drinks are. Maybe the best thing, however, was the free shuttle back and forth between the different slopes between Top of the World and Silver Creek.
If you're staying for a few days, be sure to get your groceries beforehand, as the only grocer at the top is Wildcat (which has limited...
Two major complaints! We’re here now on our second sellout day in a row. Everything is incredible with two exceptions.
First and foremost, their lift infrastructure is severely lacking. At 1200 vertical feet, the runs are pretty nice and long compared to other mountains in the area, but when you get to the bottom, be prepared to wait 20 minutes or more in line before you get on their slow, non...
The skiing/snowboarding is a solid 5 stars! I've been here a few times and the snow conditions are always perfect (keeping in mind this is an East Coast ski resort) and the staff is always amazing. The restaurants at the summit can be expensive, but the food is great and I find it well worth it. I love Snowshoe.

The location is great, ski in ski out and great view on the slopes. Very bright room, super well equipped kitchen (only a sponge was missing ^^) and spacious room and bathroom.
Spent 3 nights there in Junior studio condo for the 4848 Festival in July. Clean comfortable accommodations within walking distance to activities. Planning on going back again next year.
Great place to stay and have easy access straight to the trails. Beautiful view of the sunrise if your room is on the east side. I wish there was a better place to put your bikes overnight since they are not allowed in the rooms. No complaints other than that. And this room could easily accommodate to families. We had a 3 bedroom and there were coach sofas. Would love to come back this time next year...
Disappointed for the price we are paying. No fireplace, no balcony, and no hot tub on the premises. Have to use the pubic hot tubs!

I'll give this a generous 3 stars, because LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.
Our family stayed here on a last minute "Bluebird Bargain". We had low expectations going in, since Snowshoe's Bluebird Bargain program doesn't even tell you where you're staying until you check-in. We were pleased to find that we'd be in the Mountain Lodge, right by the slopes and next to the Village.
Our room (#211) was rather...
The units that are for rent are from different home owners. Some home owners are better to rent from than others just as some hotels are better than others. This lodge has a very mountainy feel to it. The decor is steeped in the Appalachian Mountain traditions. This lodge is very accommodating for family and definitely family friendly. Donna who works at the front desk is very friendly, knowledgeable...

Visited for a day trip of snowboarding. Really enjoyed it, staff were friendly, lifts were operated quickly, piste was well groomed and maintained, good level of snow for the time of year and temperature. A good variety of slopes. Would recommend.
Top of the World unit 323. Newly restored with an awesome view of the mountains and slopes. Soaring Eagle Express lift drops you right there. Great birthday ski trip. Highly recommended.
Nice location, try to get a place on 2nd floor or higher. The music from Hoots is really loud and doesn't stop till 2 am.
Great place to stay if you like to stay up late. If you are staying in the Apts close to Hoots, you will hear the music from the bar till 2am.

* UPDATE... The lady that was at the front when we checked in was nice, i asked my bf if it was the same voice that was rude to him on the phone he said no so thats a plus, food is good ..room was 100 dollars not 180 another plus..only complaint is its hot in the room the box fan in here unfortunately doesn't work and i dont think the thermostat is connected but its not really their fault i get bad...
Right next to the train station. Price for room is good. Room is exceptionally clean.People are very nice and accommodating.
It's in a great location...but there is no coffee pot or refrigerator. Every Friday and Saturday night there seems to be a group of locals that party by the river, we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to their music...we were even invited down to join them!
There are few accommodation options in Cass, West Virginia and I highly recommend Bear Creek Lodge. The price is excellent. The location is excellent and allowed us to stay overnight and explore the area. Diane was helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The decor was a rustic theme and very nice. Everything looked almost brand new. There was a deck overlooking the Greenbrier River...

Silver Creek Lodge
Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive 🧭 Map
Skiing at Snowshoe we decided to visit Silver Creek at night for snow tubing. Really cool, great for small kids. Lines were too long.
A wonderful time at SilverCreek! The condo had everything we needed for a enjoyable stay. Looking forward to our next visit.
Snowshoe resort consists of two ski/snowboard areas: Snowshoe proper and Silver Creek. A shuttle runs between the two every hour. Snowshoe shuts down at 4:30 pm, but ski lifts in Silver Creek operate until 9 pm, except for the Flying Eagle. I recommend staying at Silver Creek and taking a shuttle to Snowshoe. The trails serviced by the Flying Eagle are black diamonds, and they are the best of all...
Wonderful place. Its not crowded. Its the best south of NE and there is nothing as good south of it. Always a good time.
If you are the parent of a child with challenges or an adult who has endured an accident, the adaptive program here is top notch.
If you want cold, excellent, local beer and great food...skip this place and go to Old Spruce Brewery.
We had a great time at Silver Creek and Snowshoe. The accommodations are adequate, if a little dated, but the staff is friendly and everything is convenient, overall I would recommend. I much preferred the crowd and wait at Silver Creek, there are more interesting ski runs and food options in the Village, but considering we cooked most of our food and were only in our room to sleep, it was worth...

Loggers Run
Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive Building 10-4 🧭 Map
We stayed at Loggers Run #24 and it was great!! Everything we needed from kitchen items to plenty of space for our group of 12! Very nice all around! Easy ski in and ski out. We had a lot of fun here!
Pros: This was a true ski-in ski-out experience! The house had all the basics covered. The space was nice if a little worn, but had plenty of room in the kitchen and the sleeping rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Parking was a little tight. The hot tub didn't stay hot for very long. The kitchen faucet made a very loud tone when the water ran - my kids and I even harmonized with the note. It actually became...
Great location to get onto the slopes. Our place was a clean 5 bedroom place and perfect for our group. We had a hottub on the back deck and it was great for after a day of skiing
The condo is nice, huge TV's in most rooms. Great access to slopes. Would stay here again. The only critical item would be it has a very tiny kitchen, if you plan on cooking, this should expect almost no prep room.
The service was great, first of all. We came in during a snowstorm and got stuck on the way up the mountain, snowshoe staff towed us up the rest of the way without charging us. We also had a part of one of the toilets break and the repair staff came quickly to fix it. The lodging was amazing. We had 5 bedrooms so had plenty of room to spread out, full kitchen and nice living area is well. Although...

Breakfast made to order at Dean's Den was delicious, the down home, friendly service and ambiance fed our souls!

The highlight of our trip was to have been riding the Cass steam railroad up...
Was stranded in snowshoe and the lovely people at the end helped arrange transportation and food during our stay there and allowed for my group to enjoy the stay even with the minor inconvenience of not having our car. Will stay here 100% best place if need of great hospitality.
Hidden gem and website doesn't do it justice. Library is something out of hogwarts. Marionette stage with dolls, books in every category, trinkets, couches. More games than any kid could ask for in the play room including 2 dolls houses. Movie room with DVDs to rival most streaming services. Pool table, telescope tower. This place is something out of a movie. Perfect stay wish I'd knows and we would...
Usually visited biannually, the uniquely decorated rooms are a delight! Glorious mountains and fields and a creek, with wild flowers, a labyrinth, and small horses and donkeys can be seen while wandering the acres. The exquisite library has few rivals. Many metaphysical workshops were enjoyed. The breakfast vouchers for Dean's Den, less than a mile away, is sure to please. Staff is warm and accommodating

Well beyond our expectations. Fantastic service, and hotel itself is pretty spectacular. Don't expect boring hotel rooms there. Rooms are spacious, spotless clean and very nicely decorated. In addition, fantastic and well equipped game room is available to guests. The largest DVD movie collection I have seen. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you!

Great spot feels secluded while being near the village, bit of a hike to the slopes once you're all geared up. Door code worked promptly at 4 as we were told, kitchen is well stocked, place is clean, and there is a mud room for skis and such.
Treetop 32 is within walking distance of The Village at Snowshoe WV. Great summer activities, beautiful fall colors, and outstanding skiing in the winter.
My expectations were high for this place. make sure to book a Bringham Collection room. The standard rooms are dumpy. Bed was uncomfortable and the toilet seat was broken in our unit.
Excellent location. I will be staying here again. Clean, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Peaceful and convenient location near the middle of the strip. Short walk to the slopes and shops. This place made an already awesome trip that much better.
