Snowshoe, 10 Snowshoe Drive Building 19 🧭 Map
We traveled here this past week before Christmas. I don't know if there is another place like it in the east cost with a little village with restaurants and stores and having so many trails open this early in the season. I highly recommend getting reservations if you are planning to eat out. We didn't and couldn't get into a place to eat for dinner and this was midweek. We stayed at Rimfire...
Stunning views, fun village with restaurants and bars, even has its own Starbucks- which is always swamped in the mornings-get up early if you don’t want to stand in line! Lots of beautiful places to stay. Great mountain bike riding. Host of UCI DH World Cup. Amazing venue.
Summer visit. Spent 3 days there for the 4848 Festival. Nice accommodations at Expedition Station close to everything. Two main stages plus the boathouse area stage featuring live music. Over 18+ acts performing different genres of live music high on the mountain. Vendors, crafts, food, beer, children's activities, swimming, kayaks, mountain biking, lift rides, shopping, something for everyone.
Love this place! The views on the drive up are amazing, only to be topped by the Village where all the main eats and drinks are. Maybe the best thing, however, was the free shuttle back and forth between the different slopes between Top of the World and Silver Creek. If you're staying for a few days, be sure to get your groceries beforehand, as the only grocer at the top is Wildcat (which has limited...
Two major complaints! We’re here now on our second sellout day in a row. Everything is incredible with two exceptions. First and foremost, their lift infrastructure is severely lacking. At 1200 vertical feet, the runs are pretty nice and long compared to other mountains in the area, but when you get to the bottom, be prepared to wait 20 minutes or more in line before you get on their slow, non...
The skiing/snowboarding is a solid 5 stars! I've been here a few times and the snow conditions are always perfect (keeping in mind this is an East Coast ski resort) and the staff is always amazing. The restaurants at the summit can be expensive, but the food is great and I find it well worth it. I love Snowshoe.

Been coming to Snowshoe for 20+ yrs. Have stayed at Seneca for about the last 10 yrs. There are nicer places but overall location and accommodations are hard to beat.
A little on the expensive side, but worth it due to the excellent location next to the equipment rental center (Expedition Station), the ski slopes and the village restaurants and shops. The attached, secure underground parking area is very convenient, especially in inclement weather. Unit 102 is adequate for 2 people. The kitchenette included a cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, small...
We made a spur of the moment trip to Snowshoe 3 days before Christmas & were lucky enough to get in Snowshoe Mountain! Our Lodging was in Seneca. We had a one bedroom facing the pool unit 116. The view of the large outdoor hot tub was nice. And the walk to ski rentals & lessons is very easy. The restaurants were really struggling and we had a very hard time getting reservations or anyone on the phone...
This was our second year staying in Seneca and it was another great trip. The rooms are a bit dated, but if you go to Snowshoe you're there to be on the mountain. Everything was clean and the parking garage underground is fantastic when the weather is bad. We will 100% stay in Seneca on our next trip.
Great place to stay at the Village at Snowshoe. We came for Wanderlust and this was a great location: right at the heart of everything. There was indoor parking so we didn't have to walk far. The room was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils to make meals. The balcony even had a nice set of chairs and table to enjoy. Will definitely be back.
Small room. Says it's for two to four people. We're struggling for space with two people and our gear.

* UPDATE... The lady that was at the front when we checked in was nice, i asked my bf if it was the same voice that was rude to him on the phone he said no so thats a plus, food is good ..room was 100 dollars not 180 another plus..only complaint is its hot in the room the box fan in here unfortunately doesn't work and i dont think the thermostat is connected but its not really their fault i get bad...
Right next to the train station. Price for room is good. Room is exceptionally clean.People are very nice and accommodating.
It's in a great location...but there is no coffee pot or refrigerator. Every Friday and Saturday night there seems to be a group of locals that party by the river, we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to their music...we were even invited down to join them!
There are few accommodation options in Cass, West Virginia and I highly recommend Bear Creek Lodge. The price is excellent. The location is excellent and allowed us to stay overnight and explore the area. Diane was helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The decor was a rustic theme and very nice. Everything looked almost brand new. There was a deck overlooking the Greenbrier River...
Ride behind antique Shay steam engines to the Whittaker Station logging camp, the top of Back Allegheny Mountain at Bald Knob, or the abandoned town of Spruce.

Skiing at Snowshoe we decided to visit Silver Creek at night for snow tubing. Really cool, great for small kids. Lines were too long.
A wonderful time at SilverCreek! The condo had everything we needed for a enjoyable stay. Looking forward to our next visit.
Snowshoe resort consists of two ski/snowboard areas: Snowshoe proper and Silver Creek. A shuttle runs between the two every hour. Snowshoe shuts down at 4:30 pm, but ski lifts in Silver Creek operate until 9 pm, except for the Flying Eagle. I recommend staying at Silver Creek and taking a shuttle to Snowshoe. The trails serviced by the Flying Eagle are black diamonds, and they are the best of all...
Wonderful place. Its not crowded. Its the best south of NE and there is nothing as good south of it. Always a good time. If you are the parent of a child with challenges or an adult who has endured an accident, the adaptive program here is top notch. If you want cold, excellent, local beer and great food...skip this place and go to Old Spruce Brewery.
We had a great time at Silver Creek and Snowshoe. The accommodations are adequate, if a little dated, but the staff is friendly and everything is convenient, overall I would recommend. I much preferred the crowd and wait at Silver Creek, there are more interesting ski runs and food options in the Village, but considering we cooked most of our food and were only in our room to sleep, it was worth...

Great spot feels secluded while being near the village, bit of a hike to the slopes once you're all geared up. Door code worked promptly at 4 as we were told, kitchen is well stocked, place is clean, and there is a mud room for skis and such.
Treetop 32 is within walking distance of The Village at Snowshoe WV. Great summer activities, beautiful fall colors, and outstanding skiing in the winter.
My expectations were high for this place. make sure to book a Bringham Collection room. The standard rooms are dumpy. Bed was uncomfortable and the toilet seat was broken in our unit.
Excellent location. I will be staying here again. Clean, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Peaceful and convenient location near the middle of the strip. Short walk to the slopes and shops. This place made an already awesome trip that much better.

126 is a great one bedroom with direct access to the slopes from its deck. It's only about 100 feet from the lift!
